What a shock. They lost the debate, they lost the vote and their losing more ground but THIS TIME it will be different. It’s a shame Congress won’t pass a law forbidding any new gun legislation for at least twenty years so they can focus on other problems.

The Mercury News link has been taken down. If you are that close I would suggest presenting this to his hospital CEO and informing the state licensing board about his fraud. I have seen doctors suspended for far less than this.

that “woman” is comedy gold. Since the myth has always been that the Air Force gets the hot chicks, did she have to get a waiver to enlist? Someday before I retire, I too hope to see “a combat”. Not participate mind you, just see one.

@46 Jonn, I in no way intended to harass her at her job, that is why I posted at her SOTD page, not her personal page. It is her SOTD Facebook page where she was accepting accolades for her military and current service. I took great and genuine care to thank her for her service not only overseas but in helping vets now. But as @49 said someone who says I was there “in a combat” as she put it, is like a wannabee in a vets support group. They can do a lot of harm. If I went overboard…my apologies.

Ok, lets talk about this. I’m a veteran. I’m medical. I saw a shitton of blasted up joes at WRAMC, that was, yes, *Combat Trauma*. But I’m not an Iraq/Afghanistan veteran. My little chunk of the war was fought with morphine, some fentenyl, a stethoscope and a variety of antibiotics in DC…..AND we lived off post!
But, the key difference here is I don’t claim to be anything else.

Lets face it….She’s a supply clerk! She didn’t even take direct care of wounded. Our loud little specialist needs to check herself before some big, mean ass AF Master Sergeant straightens her out.

Empathy is fine and dandy, and an excellent characteristic to own when “helping” vets. But, someone with this sort of attitude can just as easily do great harm. “Been there, done that” is only effective when you actually have “been there, done that.”
