COB6 emailed me to say we should do something about Michael Jackson. I guess my post in the forum doesn’t count. Well, my parents taught me if I can’t say something nice about someone, I shouldn’t say anything. So here are some links;

I will say that he was sort of an entertainment bridge between me and my kids for awhile since Jackson was about four years younger than me and Thriller came out when my kids were pre-teens. So we briefly shared a mutual appreciation of Michael Jackson’s talent.

While my music choices have denied me knowing of any of his music, I question his singing ability, because he seemed to rely more on the show than the substance. Can’t say that I know of any of his songs. If his sweet sister Janet needs consoling, I would of course, answer the call though.
Seriously, my best to his family and those he’s left behind.
His death took Farrah off the front page, didn’t it? Looks once again like the sensationalist overshadows the good.

This is really sad. All those who do not have any thing to say then just shut your mouth. Have some respect for Michael. Michael just died and you can’t say anything nice. I wonder what would anyone say when you die. Trust me. What goes around comes around. Michael was definately a great singer and performer. It is sad to know there are people like those who do not have anything to say exist.
