Excuse the French, but are you SHITTING ME?

So, I expose to TMZ that their picture is a fake, and here’s the thanks I get:

Here’s the link. You see where it prominently links to TAH and my work on exposing this? No?

ME EITHER.

Seriously, are you kidding me?

  1. NHSparky says:

As stated previously–the mainstream media is looking ALMOST as bad as Poe on this one.

And TMZ? Eat a steaming bag of dicks, ya ri-tards.

  2. J.R. says:

A couple of us have commented demanding they cite their sources. They deleted them. Thieves.

  3. McNally says:

I’m browsing the comments and I’m seeing a bunch asking TMZ to cite their sources and even a couple pointing directly at TAH, so who knows if they’re deleting comments or not.

  4. Kriste says:

#3 The comments are still there. I’ve left another one with specific references/links to TSO’s work as well as CJ’s. I’ll copy/paste once it clears moderation.

  5. Kriste says:

Clarification: The links did post on my TMZ comment, just not here at TAH. And several other members of the milblog community have weighed in over there.

  6. Spade says:

TMZ are shady hollywood types run by a lawyer. Do you expect somebody from a combination of those two groups to have ethical standards?

  7. Dave says:

How could such a sterling upright pillar of journalistic integrity as TMZ ever…. shit, I can’t even finish the sentence. You’ve seen the kind of steaming turds they claim as news for years now, and it surprises you that they are f**king thieves?

  8. Russ Vaughn says:

Just got an email from the American Legion with the lead article about Poe being a phony. they have the story up at their Burn Pit website here:

    http://www.burnpit.us/2012/06/americas-got-talent-wounded-veteran-not-he-claims-be

Don’t know how many of their three million members are signed up for emails or visit the website but this should still significantly increase the awareness of Poe’s treachery.

If they publish an article in their monthly mag about it, that reaches virtually all of their members, a lot of whom aren’t keyboard kommandos.

The more light shined on these cockroaches, the more likely they’ll stay under the linoleum.

  9. NHSparky says:

I get their e-mails, and am a member. I’d be surprised if it makes this month’s newsletter, but might well make the next.

Frankly, I think it would be a great article (or series) for the LEGION magazine.
