The tin cup

Yeah, to beat the critics to the punch, this has nothing to do with the military, I just thought it was funny;

For the record, every week is a “fundraising deadline” in his emails to prospective donors. I think it’s just some arbitrary deadline for the media or something. Because I’m sure there’s no shortage of ri-tards who send him money hoping for a shot at a dinner with him, Michelle and Joe Biden. For the record, no one is getting my money this season for an election. Unless Reagan comes out of retirement.

  1. MCPO NYC USN (Ret.) says:

Yeah right … and much of my service is classified as well. Like the time I “dirty dicked” someone’s coffee cup, the day I filled everyone’s boon dockers up with shaving cream, and the weekend I spent in Subic in the care of a lovely brown wowan. All secret stuff!

  2. MCPO NYC USN (Ret.) says:

@ # 1 …. You idiot … you posted a rant in the wrong area.

  3. TopGoz says:

“I’ve got other responsibilities I’m attending to.” Yeah, like golf. And going to more fundraising events than any other president. Real busy guy, that Barack.

  4. Redacted1775 says:

Lewis Black may have been on to something…

  5. ROS says:

He hit round 101 since taking office. I believe that was last week, and that would be a round about every 12 days by my guesstimations. Nice.

  6. PintoNag says:

If Reagan comes out of “retirement”…I’M OUT O’ HERE!!

  7. RMB says:

A dead Reagan would be a best option at this point. Sigh he was the MAN, Dad was with ATST in Berlin and we had front row seats at his “… Tear down this wll speach” real leadership from the white house came from conviction not polling data.

  8. RMB says:

ok who else remebers a million man active duty army (Not including reserves)

  9. ROS says:

That’s directly from the campaign website, Spork.

Am I the only one who feels like he treats the presidency as if it’s a game show?

  10. NHSparky says:

    Ya’ll are a bunch of racists! /insipid

And ROS, it’d be a game show if there was a chance of actually winning something cool instead of being saddled with trillions of dollars of debt for generations to come.

Hope you’re brushing up on your Mandarin.

  11. UpNorth says:

Spork, as ROS said, that’s all too real. Next up, forget flowers at your loved one’s funeral, instead of a bouquet, have friends and family send money to Baracka.
ROS, I think the game show should be called Doubling Down on Stupid. Make of that what you will, Instupid.

  12. Miss Ladybug says:

Anyone who did that in place of a birthday present (coming up next month) or a wedding gift (next year) would be uninvited to any celebrations….

  13. OWB says:

Those who would do so are a VERY special kind of stupid.

What I am REALLY waiting for is the suggestion that every druggie out there send one day’s drug $$ in to the campaign. Or how’s about the GSA send in what they would have spent in Las Vegas?

  14. Hack Stone says:

Since Dear Leader has granted amnesty to all of the “undocumented immigrants” last week, he will expect every good little Hispanic girl to forward her Quinceañera gifts to his reelection campaign.

  15. ROS says:

I believe he thinks HE is the prize in this game show (he’s so awesome!). Vote for BO (he’s so awesome!) and you’ll get free food stamps, just like the commercials say! Send him money (he’s so awesome!) and you’ll get to have dinner with him and Michelle (because they’re so awesome!). He neeeeeds your vote and money because subjugation is awesome, rich people are not awesome unless they are him (he’s so awesome!), and everyone deserves a chance to be touched by his awesome so that they may be faaaaabulous.

No, really, ask him. He’s AWESOME.

  16. malclave says:

    @6

    Cthulhu 2012!
Why settle for a Lesser Evil?

  17. Casey says:

With respect to BO’s brag that “three-quarters of our money [came] from donors giving less than $1,000:” that’s the whole idea behind these endless pleas to send “even just $3.” The Obamaroids don’t meed the money that badly, but they do want to disguise the big-ticket donors, and how much comes from so few.

Then they gin up a large number of single-digit donations so they can brag about how “grass-roots” they are, while sliming the Romney campaign as a bunch of fat-cat Wall Street plutocrats.

The real reason Romney has to date out-raised Teh won is that BO has pissed off too many people the last 3 years, especially businesspeople who are tired of getting blamed for his mess.

  18. malclave says:

    @18

    I don’t know if that’s a “brag” so much as a “whine”.

I know Los Angeles has seen enough Obama visits to make it clear that he wants more 5-figure donations.

  19. Ex-PH2 says:

I have a sign on my front door:

Salespeople and politicians not welcome. Please piss off.

  20. There I stood says:

Uhm…….hasn’t he been @ fundraisers where the minimum amount per plate was $38,500???? Or am I missing something? How about schmoozing all of hollywood; Jessica Sarah Parker’s DO, or whatever…….guess that doesn’t count, no?

  21. WOTN says:

It was in recent months that Obama went out for an exclusive Hollywood dinner fundraiser, that set new records (beating the old Warren Buffett fundraisers for Obama-08) of raising $40 Million in a few hours.

  22. Joe Williams says:

Jonn, if I had not read this while browsing thru other sites. I would have throught that you “barrowed”this from the Duffel blog.

  23. HM2 FMF-SW Ret says:

Thanks for posting this Jonn. I did my part.

  24. NHSparky says:

I’m also sure Obumbles wasn’t happy with the fact that one of the most liberal towns in NH (Durham) wanted him to pony up $20K for extra police, etc., for his little “visit” on Monday.

Well, there was a guy who OFFERED to put up the $20K on the condition of anonymity, but silly NH “right-to-know” laws will make his/her name known as soon as the check is scratched. Whoopsie.

And in case anyone here thinks that the Romney campaign isn’t being charged by cities for his stops, he got hit with an $11K bill for an appearance in CA earlier this month.

How’s that “hopey changey” shit working out for ya?
