I’ll say this, the Colts are really good to the city, and the excitement is palpable. (I live near the Colts facility on west side.)

I ran into Andrew Luck at Subway on 56th street the other day too. Even gave him a thumbs up, although he probably didn’t know that I was doing so in hopes he would beat the Texans and get us the much-needed bye. He waved and smiled, so, I like the dude.

Is it baseball season yet? This has been the worst season of football for me ever. Saints sucked…Chefs sucked. Denver and the Pats got byes in the playoffs.

I really like the owner. When the tornados hit down in Southern Indiana last year Irsay donated a check for 500k.

The Colts punter is a huge supporter of the Military. I was at a game a while back and the Airforce where the ones holding the huge flag for the Anthem. He went around the entire field shaking every single one of their hands. He also is a big supporter of Wish-for-Heroes and donates all of his box seets to them to be handed out to the Military. He was here a few months ago at Camp Atterbury mingling with deploying Soldiers. Hardly anyone knew he was coming. I was buying hamburgers from the FRG and looked over and thought “holy crap, that’s Pat McAfee”.

That video was a gem. I especially liked his Ravens over Colts pick. I’m a Ravens guy but I can’t STAND that knucklehead Flacco of DII Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hen fame. Hell, he couldn’t win a championship with the Blue Hens and he’s 5 years an NFL quaterback who has nothing but “potential” still. Arrggg.

Screw the Packers! If the Vikings go no further than Atlanta; I’ll be fine with it, just as long as they beat the Packers tomorrow night!!

As you can tell, I have a guttural hatred of the Packers, not just because it’s a border war, but the I have to endure Packer fans all the time. Finley gains 5 yards on a pass and the crowd goes nuts like he just scored the game winning touchdown. Overrated, overinflated, and just plain narcissistic.
