“An armed citizenry is no obstacle to tyranny.”

CPL Boston…sexist bigot

Did I mention CPL Boston was a sexist bigot?

CPL Boston is a sexist bigot and clearly has a tiny winky…which is why he joined the Marines. Clearly.

Two steps forward, 18 trillion steps back.

Mad Tea Party

“…Americans DIDN’T vote for divided government.”

Dissent in the Red States

Couldn’t she have just used pepper spray or maybe a pamphlet on how to get Federal benefits?

Gun crazy

…who else do we know governed via decree?

How about a little fire, Scarecrow?

Crying Wolf on term limits

If this is true, Rosie O’Donnell is a walking AR-15 with a beta-mag

So where is “left wing blogger” on that list?

He Who’s Name Cannot Be Spoken

“..because Washington was clearly crossing the Delaware to get to his duck blind.”

Pound-you-in-the-ass prison

Haggle over Hagel

Trumped up

The potential murderer next door

Clearly we just aren’t spending enough

Burka Power!

I actually agree with this one…Monsanto is evil.

  1. John says:

You are half crazed manaics for knowing ammo calibers and firearms parts. You all need to be committed

  2. Claymore says:

I am committed…committed to buying more scary firearm parts and ammo of varied calibers.

  3. Twist says:

Would they have been happier if Josh called Feinstein “some man”?

Silly Josh, didn’t you know that you can only criticize white, heterosexual, male Protostants?

  4. Twist says:

And you can only criticize Protestants too.

  5. 2/17 Air Cav says:

@1. John: The depth of your feeling and the strength of your well crafted argument have persuaded me. I am committing myself forthwith. Thanks.

  6. CAs6 says:

Oh my heavens! CPL Boston called Rep. Feinkenstein a woman! He’s clearly going to become the next mass murderer! What tools.

  7. Twist says:

@7, You made it 5 years? I didn’t last past one comment.

  8. Hondo says:

Twist: can’t remember if it was one comment for me or a handful. But I certainly didn’t make it 24 hrs the one time I decided to try posting there.

  9. USMCE8Ret says:

@7&8 – Yes, I did read DU’s restrictive and one-sided terms of agreement there awhile back, but was “juried” for just 1 comment, which is why I’m so hard on trolls like Joe, et al when they come here. “Joke ‘em if they can’t take a fuck” indeed.

  10. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

The folks at DU are about as tolerant as I expect from liberals these days, they talk a lot of sh1t about the 1st amendment but they sure as sh1t don’t understand any of it. I got bounced for pointing out that JFK was against the civil rights act in the late 50s. He chose a politically expedient no vote thus clearing the way for support of his presidential run.

Since that opinion runs counter to the JFK as the first messiah, I was told to get out and stay out…but the only way you know it is that you can’t access your account because the d1ckweeds don’t even have the testicular fortitude to tell you directly they find you objectionable and intend to ban you….

so like USMC and others have said, F$ck those guys….they can kiss my 4ss.

  11. Twist says:

@9, 4 words got me banned. They were blathering on about how right wing web sites don’t believe in the 1st Ammendment because the don’t allow comments they don’t agree with. My 4 word reply was “like you do here”.

  12. USMCE8Ret says:

I know a guy who will jibe with the lib-tards on WaPo’s comment blog just to stay up on his typing skills. It drives ’em crazy ’cause they can’t block him.

  13. Just Plain Jason says:

There is so much wrong with that site it isn’t funny. Hippies can complain about the results of being hippies…

  14. PavePusher says:

To be fair, as a private web site, The First Amendment doesn’t really apply to D.U., or any other private on-line political forum. Such as this one.

But their hypocrisy is glaring none-the-less.

  15. MRV says:

Wow, talk about taking a statement and turning into something that probably wasn’t intended at all. I think the point of that sentence with the some woman in it was to point out that she’s a flippin’ hypocrite of the highest order that not only has armed security but is a gun owner and carries. Typical lib crap, take something small that they can blow out of proportion so that they can discredit this entire thing.

  16. Claymore says:

It sort of reminds me of my old Coulter site admin days where we would openly recruit over at DU and BartCop (who actually come over and debated a little), looking for cat toys to bat around. There were very few takers. What’s funny is that we never banned them…at least I didn’t…and some of them actually had meaningful things to say. I daresay that the vast majority of DU is a barren wasteland and little more than an echo chamber that doesn’t want dissent.

  17. UpNorth says:

Like most of you, I lasted one comment at DU. And, I’m a better person for getting banned. DU makes Occutards seem like rational people.

  18. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

@15 I agree that they have the right to run their site as they wish, I don’t begrudge that at all. I also agree their glaring hypocrisy is obvious to all but themselves.

I find it disingenuous that they claim to foster honest discussions, when it’s clear even amongst themselves that they don’t. They foster a self congratulatory stroke fest with a great many posters contributing the famous “+1” to indicate their agreement with each and every post….some folks even post “+1,000” to indicate their complete and total 4sskissing of the original posters….

I did enjoy the post about Hagel, they aren’t quite sure how to proceed there as Obama picked a republican to be SECDEF, and one that is pretty disagreeable to both sides of the aisle. Anti Israel, homophobes are not exactly welcome on the DU and now their president has picked one to be SECDEF, it should make for some more entertaining reading.

  19. Hondo says:

UpNorth: agreed. The dubious title “DUmmies” is IMO quite apropos for the majority of DU regulars. Most seem to comment simply because they like hearing the echo of their own (virtual) voice.

  20. 2/17 Air Cav says:

@18. I think I was still writing mine when I got the heave ho. Seriously, for those of you who have never taken a shot at that bastion of imbecility, make your first one a doozy because it will certainly be your last. They have more BAN than a drug store deoderant shelf.

  21. FatCircles0311 says:

If Stalin had a website it’s name would be Democratic Underground. Batshit crazy doesn’t describe that cesspool accurately enough.

  22. PavePusher says:

@19: As far as Hagel, the #1 job of the U.S. SecDef is to be pro-USA. Their stance on Israel is a very distant second place to that.
I have no idea what his thoughts on homosexuality are. As long as he publically treats everyone equally, I don’t care what his private opinion is.

  23. PavePusher says:

Oh Holy F%&*balls…. you missed a wizzer today….

Pay special attention to #18. He specifically wants to move to another country because they will give him more free government shit for being poor. Not to get a job. Not to be productive. To be a freakin’ leach on another society.

Whsat the hell is wrong with those people?! If I ever win the Powerball, I’ll spend the first million buying plane tickets and sart-up money for any of those whacko’s that want to leave. On the condition that they can only collect the cash once they are there and have turned in their passport/renounced their citizenship at the US Embassy. I bet I get less than ten takers, and that 8 of them don’t last a year.

  24. USMCE8Ret says:

@24 – Holy F!@$%balls is right!!!! Those are pathetically hysterical!! I laughed so hard, I actually pulled some tears! Man – THAT was FUNNY!!!

  25. Just Plain Jason says:

    Basically no balls.
