Midst the fallout from our last Presidential election it IS a bit hard to single out one particular thing that is especially grievous, but…

For a man to dishonor, lie, invent fabrications, purposefully and falsely accuse Viet Nam warriors of the most vile and vicious atrocities, should result by any humanitarian standard in incarceration with prejudice. My heart weeps, my soul cries out for justice, my mind tells this cannot be happening in America…what have we become?John Kerry, a war criminal just a few days away from a congressional hearing and vote that could confirm his as Secretary of State…a man with the character of a rat, snake, roach, gaining through perjured testimony he gave Congress forty years ago is now deemed worthy of honor…a thought that has me shaking between weeping and puking…

The mere idea that his name was even brought up as a consideration for nomination for either Secretary of State or Secretary of Defense is indicative of the moral decline this country is headed, and I wish I could say I was surprised…but I’m not.

@6. That’s exactly right. I am not gnashing my teeth or wringing my hands regarding Kerry. The reason is what you said: There is no depth too low for this administration. One after another appointee has been anything but what one would call a red-blooded american, patriot, or traditionalist. One cannot set about to fundamentally change America (as promised) by installing those who are members of the old guard.

The only thing I can think is that Obama is setting Kerry up for a run at the oval office in 2016. We know that he hates Hillary. Obama loves the thought of a man who hates America as much as he does will continue his destruction of our country.

Running for POTUS in 2016 seems like a no-go for Jawn Fawkin Kawrry…a Secy of State would have zero time to campaign, and cabinet officers are prohibited from doing so anyway. He’ll turn 72 in 2016, and if a Dem wins WH in ’16 (Hillary?), than realistically, 2024 is the next opportunity to run and he’ll be close to 80 yrs old by than. The better bet is for a Republican to win in ’16, and Kerry to attempt a run in 2020…too old probably at almost 76 – his time has passed.

John Fonda Kerry.
After his testimony at winter soldier every man and woman in the military were targets for scorn and derision, He cost Veterans jobs, dishonored those that gave the most and shit on the families of the fallen.
My respect goes to the swift boats sailors for standing tall and outing this traitor before he became an Obama type POTUS because Obama has a certain style while John kerry is just an asshole with arms and legs.

Joe Kennedy proved, decades ago, that everyone has a price.
John Kerry proved, decades later, that he not only had a price, but could stay bought. Until a higher price is bid.
Two maxims are in play:
- Elections have consequences.
- Personnel is Policy.
Given the looting of the country, I’m only surprised Kerry didn’t have a cabinet position before now.
