   Supposedly we do this stuff because the Egyptian military does what it wants to do and isn’t controlled by figure heads like Morsi. We do it to keep the military happy for whatever reason and for decades have been training their brass ourselves. Maybe they are more of an ally than are known publicly and that’s why we continue to fund their military.

   The rise of Islamists in Egypt though should equate to the United States reevaluating it’s policy with Egypt though. You can only appease these evil people for so long and doing so with military equipment is going to lead to disaster eventually.

   Giving fighter jets and Abrams tanks to the muslim brotherhood and pushing for gun control here. What is wrong with this picture? Arming the outspoken enemy of one of our allies. This administration has taken common sense out behind the shed and put 2 behind the ear.
