NRA: Stand and Fight; We are America

The folks at the NRA sent us their latest video in the Stand and Fight series; “We are America”. I think this is the best of their series so far. I’m glad to see them put my membership dues to good use;

Not bad. Not bad at all. It does make me think of a stock truth regarding prisons, though. It’s this: Prisons are able to function only so long as the inmates permit themselves to be controlled. They are promised good-time credits, jobs and other inducements to placate them but when they collectively get pissed off, the correctional officers are at their mercy. Of course, only the tower and gate post personnel have weapons. And therein lies the difference. And it’s a big difference.

Fed agents: 125,000 now, may become 135,000, most of whom can’t hit the broad side of a barn and tend to gather in one spot
Legit (non-Fed) gun owners: 23,000,000
No. of street criminals with guns: unknown, but nearly same as number of rats in any city
Spock: The odds are 23,000,000++ to 135,000
Kirk: The odds are in our favor.
