Stormin Norman Laid to Rest
February 28th, 2013
Some of the Army guys here seem to have missed this:
Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf Buried at West Point
Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf, the no-nonsense Desert Storm commander famously nicknamed “Stormin’ Norman,” graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, soaking up its values: “Duty, Honor, Country.”
He married here. He taught here. And on Thursday he was buried here.
I’ll leave it at that.

Just saw this on Special Report. I didn’t know he had passed. Maybe I did and my 71 year ole brain forgot. I know that troops that served under him were divided on him. My perception was that he was not a political General so that makes him ok in my book. RIP General. Thanks for what you did.

Rest In Peace, General, you’ve earned it.

We need more like him, and a LOT less of the Perfumed Prince types, that’s for dang sure!
See you in a while, Brother …

He made us all proud to be in, or have served in, the US Military.
Few can claim that accolade, even fewer hold that praise for life.
Stand down, Sir. HOOAH!
