Hanoi Jane to vets: get a life

| April 11, 2013

So The Mr Wolf sends us a link to Fox News in which they report that Jane Fonda tells veterans who want to boycott her latest movie to “get a life”;

This week, Fonda had a simple message for [Larry Reyes, a Navy veteran and founder of the “Boycott Hanoi Jane Playing Nancy Reagan” Facebook page] and the page’s fans.

“Get a life.”

In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Fonda said of her casting: “If it creates hoopla, it will cause more people to see the movie… I figured it would tweak the right. Who cares?”

Yeah, she doesn’t sound as contrite as she did last week when she apologized (sort of) to veterans for being a prop in the propaganda war against them in North Vietnam. I guess she figures she ought to fire up her anti-American supporters, because the rest of us aren’t going to see her movie. I can admit that I never saw any of her movies, I certainly wasn’t going to start with this one.

  1. LIRight says:

    Stick it, Jane.

  2. PintoNag says:

This woman needs to be arrested for impersonating a human being.

And I notice that Jonn posted it in the most perfect spot:

    Shitbags.

  3. ChipNASA says:

    FOAD C*NT

  4. 2/17 Air Cav says:

    Barbarella asks, “Who cares?”

Wide Load Clinton asked, “What difference will it make?”

    I detect a pattern.

  5. RM3(SS) says:

Barbarella was her best role. Floating around topless saying inane things. Just like now except she wears support.

  6. Eggs says:

I have a life, and a portion of the time out of it I spend hitting the Jane Fonda targets in the urinals over in OPS.

  7. Twist says:

Go suck the sweat of a dead hippie’s balls Jane.

  8. Ex-PH2 says:

Were you actually expecting her to stick to that pile of hogwash?

  9. Old Tanker says:

Why couldn’t Henry have just jacked off……

  10. 2/17 Air Cav says:

The good news is that long after she is reduced to dust, she will still be known as “Hanoi Jane” just as we remember Tokyo Rose despite the passing of many decades since WW II. Her grave will have to be surrounded in steel bars to keep Veterans from regularly pissing on it. And that’s okay. Donning rubber gloves and pitching some dog shit at her tombstone is not something that is beneath me.

  11. UpNorth says:

@10, her grave would be one of those places where I’d forgo my pledge to never stand in line again.

  12. Dan says:

Barbarella should be mandatory viewing…along with Heavy Metal!

  13. 2/17 Air Cav says:

@11. You too? And how many items have you left in the store and stormed out without buying? The number better be high if you want to threaten my record.

  14. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

    “get a life”

What a rousing intellectual response to an appropriate criticism and response to your life. Every dirty liberal hippie of your generation has called for boycotts based on your so called principles…now that one of your favorite tactics has been turned against you, you reveal your true self once again. Proving what a sack of sh1t you are and always have been.

We have lives Jane, our lives involved honorable service to our nation unlike your life which has involved nothing honorable at any point. As you ponder that now at the end of your life you are realizing you will be a detestable footnote in history as the traitorous, rich, sh1tbag actress that you are. It must be extremely satisfying to know that future generations will read about you visiting the enemies of America as a traitor, and that the large body of “art” you leave behind will be mostly ignored in the dustbin of mediocrity because the stink of traitor will never leave you.

If your apologies were not so closely tied to film projects you felt would be threatened by the publicity perhaps someone might actually believe you were sincere….however based on the timing of the various acts of contrition it’s clear you only care about the public’s perception of you and how it will impact your ability at making some money.

Thank you for suggesting I get a life, but I already have one that I enjoy. I have friends and family who know me to be an honest, trustworthy man who has impacted the lives of hundreds of young people in a positive manner. I have folks here who read my words and regard them with value. Their respect is something I treasure beyond wealth and fame and I will gladly stand with them and denounce you for what you represent, all that is ugly and corrupt in our nation. I hope you never earn another dollar at your profession, and I sincerely hope you reap the benefits of the traitorous actions you have sown.

  15. Dan #12: I agree. Besides, I only have so much energy and there are SO many assholes to loathe.

Aside: Gotta wonder about the validity some. Didn’t she JUST apologize to us again? Oh wait… maybe her shit-for-brains foolishness is a recurring condition?

  16. MCPO NYC USN (Ret.) says:

Fun with Jane Fonda doll and a potato cannon!

  17. OWB says:

Got a mighty fine life, jane. But no thanks to you, many of my friends are suffering lives with needless pain or not with us at all. On their behalf amy I suggest that you STFU?

No? Then just report to your field office and we will dispose of you appropriately.

  18. Nik says:

    “Get a life.”

    Response: Grow a soul.

  19. Ex-PH2 says:

I did wonder just how long she would take to rebut her so-called apology. It was nothing but a publicity stunt to get attention for that movie, which is actually about the WH butler who started working there when Truman was in office, and not about the Reagans.

She’s too old to play Nancy Reagan, anyway. Nancy looked like Jane Wyman, who had been divorced by Reagan before he met Nancy Davis. Nancy is now 91, in case any of you were wondering. Reagan was in the White House when Nancy was in her 50s. Makeup doesn’t cover everything.

This movie’s going to flop, anyway. Bio films frequently don’t do very well, unless it’s someone like Lincoln. So Fonda is not worth the time it takes to stage a protest. Just ignore her. Her career went down the toilet a while back.

  20. Combat Historian says:

Hey, Hanoi Jane, still got your NVA dog tags in your purse?

  21. PintoNag says:

Question: Is there any truth to the story about her touring the Hanoi Hilton and turning over notes passed to her by the POWs, to the prison guards? I’ve heard that story a couple of times, but can’t find anything about it.

  22. Twist says:

PintoNag, It is a myth. The men that were mentioned in the notes story deny that it happened.

  23. PintoNag says:

Thanks, Twist. It was up in the air, from what I could find on-line. Some articles said she did, other articles said she didn’t.

  24. NHSparky says:

My offer still stands. First keg’s on me.

  25. USMCE8Ret says:

@25 – What offer? (I didn’t see a previous post, but did notice the phrase, “First keg’s on me.”)

  26. NHSparky says:

As soon as Fonda kicks, I’m rolling a keg of the good stuff (at least Sam Adams or better) over to her grave and letting anyone with a valid 214 tip up their red Solo cups until they break seal on her still fresh grave.

  27. USMCE8Ret says:

I’m in. Should we wait ’till the family leaves, or is this event happening afterwards?

  28. valerie says:

Well, guess who never bought any of her exercise tapes, either.

  29. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

@27 For her I might let the posers take a p1ss too, one good fraud deserves another…

  30. David says:

hell, I’d be in for the beer alone. The aftermath is icing on the cake.

THAT is a grave they will have to fence…. better not use steel bars, though – they rust.

  31. OWB says:

They can scatter her ashes, hide her grave site, do whatever they think will keep her cold, dead hide from us, but we WILL find her! The line waiting to bless her could last for a couple of generations.

  32. NHSparky says:

@28–Nah, let them know that while they MIGHT have loved her, that’s where the adulation ends. Hell, maybe we’ll get lucky and drop a few gallons on her before they cover her casket up.

  33. USMCE8Ret says:

I’ll call whatever hotel you want to stay at and block off a few rooms. I’m sure there would be quite a turn out.

Maybe it can be a Stolen Valor Tourney convention like VOV suggested.

  34. JP says:

Every VFW I’ve ever been in had Jane Fonda urinal stickers. The number of golden showers this commie bitch has gotten is well deserved.

  35. A_Proud_Infidel says:

F**k Jane Fonda to death up the a** sideways with a rusty mace while she’s sitting and spinning on a diarrhea-soaked pile of rusty, tangled concertina wire right after she’s been sadistically sodomized by a Grizzly Bear with AIDS and the SOB that was mean enough to give it to him!!

  36. CC Senor says:

The only Jane Fonda movie I ever paid to see was Cat Ballou and that was in ’62 or ’63. And it’s more memorable for Lee Marvin than anyone else.

  37. CC Senor says:

My @37 was in response to the Barbarella references, which I have never seen.

  38. PapaMAS says:

I p1ssed on her image enough times in the little urinal in the B-52; I suppose I might want to take a trip to do the same to her grave.

I never saw many of her movies, either. My mom, who is a good dame, once spent about half an hour watching the scene in “On Golden Pond” (I think it was) where Hanoi Jane gets slapped. She just kept rewinding it and cackling.

  39. Ex-PH2 says:

Are you going to plant poison ivy on her grave? I know where to get some.

  40. OWB #32: Road Trip!

  41. OWB says:

That road trip might clog highways and byways from coast to coast!

  42. obsidian says:

Jane, 58,282 Veterans of the Vietnam war can never get a life.
You help kill a lot of them and made what they fought for mean nothing. You helped an enemy of your nation win a political war that was attempting to bring freedom to choose between communist enslavement and personal choice in a Democracy to the People of South Vietnam who did not wish to become communist. Then as now your personal hate for your own tribe, country and nation rises up in a stench from you much like the smell a vulture has.
Get a Life? Jane, go jump into a vat of shit and disappear.

  43. A Proud Infidel says:

@40, Ex-PH2: DITTO! I’d also consider planting things like Musk Thistle, Poison Oak, and Kudzu as well!! As the saying goes, “The grass grows greener over the septic tank”!

  44. Mustang2LT says:

Yeah well the only thing I have to say is……..Jane, eat a dick. I hope when the end comes, that it is excruciating and that she has to face it alone.

  45. NHSparky says:

Mustang–concur. The list of people I’d wish cancer on is a very short one.

And damned if she ain’t on it.

I also have served my country 1987-2011; I have been in El Salvador and in OIF 2005-2007. I do recall she was protesting, along with that lady from Texas supposedly distraught about her son that died in Iraq, which to me disrespected what he stood for, as well she had kids that was serving at the time.
That said, it would be an honor to participate in the memorial services, for the memory of my dad, upon that thing finally taking its last breath of 02, and being buried in a a a a a, you get the point.

Spell check and grammer is always good, should have looked closere. Here is the correct Reply to Hanoi Jane:

I have an idea for a tremendous money making idea –

Hanoi Jane voodoo dolls and pins.
Every Vietnam era vet would buy one.
