Message from Moonbeam revisited

| April 26, 2013

OK, so that hippie chick wrote back to me. My response to her first missive was “Wow. Are you for real.”

Oh yes, she is real, and she is spectacular:

I`m for real ๐Ÿ™‚
People are being manipulated and watched everywhere they go..whatever they do..
Still people who like to kill others can continue. Hm…
In Norway.. a man could kill over 50 young people almost for 30 minutes.. without anyone stopping him… And he was not killed when the police made up their mind to show up at last. Sorry… I dont buy anything I am told in media. Thats it. And you know why. It is fake. And you know it.
We are not to know.. thats all.
Who are to be protected.. from who..
The State.. Who is the state? The people are the state. But not anymore.
We are beemed with lots of stuff.. are made into robots without contact with our hearts, souls and intuition.
Eisenhoover had a worry about this… far back in time.
He was so right.
Look for the light in yourself. It is there ๐Ÿ™‚ even if it seems empty.
Wish you the best.
Ine ๐Ÿ™‚

OK, so for all my goofing, I actually love hippies. Love them. Don’t speak their language, and don’t live in their world, but these variety of hippies I really like. This lady clearly believes what she is saying, and despite what I might have considered my hostile approach to her, she is unflappable in her “World is love” viewpoint.

Then again, I’ve seen the Grateful Dead 54 times.

But you know what? Her response, while insane, is at least earnest. I see this lady crying if she steps on a bug. It’s a beautiful and yet fragile wonderland she lives in. And without a ton of weed, I couldn’t even visit it.

She majored in pot at the university.

  2. Nik says:

I love hippies like I love kittens.

They’re kinda charming, but I don’t take them seriously.

  3. PintoNag says:

She seems very gentle. She probably makes a good friend or neighbor.

  4. FMR PAO says:

Sounds to me like she’s gobbling paint chips like they were Cool Ranch Doritos.

  5. Robert Anderson says:

I was cracking up at “Eisenhoover.”

  6. VanZorge says:

    wow – far out……….

  7. Gerdo says:

Eisenhower warned of the military industrial complex, Hoover wanted a Chicken in every pot, I think Moonbeam was worried the Chicken would eat her industrial pot.

  8. TSO says:

@3. Agreed. She doesn’t seem to have a malicious bone in her body. I would LOVE to spend a night drinking with her, it would be entertaining as hell.

  9. LostOnThemInterwebs says:

Wait how can you kill someone for almost 30 minutes? …

She is cute TSO, gonna keep her as a hippie pet? is Eisenhoover the designer of the hoover vacuums? was he concerned because people wouldn’t use a hoover?

  10. Hondo says:

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that Ine is posting this apparently pacifist pablum when she’s a descendant of the Vikings? (smile)

  11. TSO says:

@10, no, it occurred to me as well. I almost mentioned that her forefathers probably had their way with mine at the point of a spear. But that seemed over the top.

  12. pete says:

some people deserve a break! she’s harmless and content

  13. OWB says:

Eisenhoover was the banker for the vacuum cleaner designer. It was named after him, but they dropped the “Eisen.” To simplify things. Yeah, that was it.

  14. Roger in Republic says:

WOW Man, the colors, Far out! Paranoid delusional at it’s worst. The government is killing us and lying to us, and life is so beautiful I can’t stand it. This girl is conflicted, to say the least.

  15. George V says:

I, for one, want to know what it feels like to be “beemed”, even if only with a little stuff.

I thought Eisenhoover ran for office so he could clean up gov’mint?

  16. Mr. Sharkman says:

I actually like sincere hippies myself. I know exactly where you are coming from.

Usually, in the morning (after), when my shameless lies (no, not a Physical Therapist for Sea Otters recovering from injury…but a mindless amphibious killer for the Evil Government/Corporations/etc.) are revealed…my honest and sometimes accepted response was “I agree – hippies will someday create the perfect world – it’s my job to kill all the a-holes in the way of that dream until the ‘how’ is figured out”.

It even got me a follow up date once or twice.

  17. FatCircles0311 says:

    Obama voter.

Flashlights at bootcamp are called moonbeams.

  18. Hippies are the sheep, that for the most part are harmless, mean well and need our protection. I can’t stand the assholes that supposedly want peace, rant about our Marines being cold blooded killers, yet gladly take the side of murderous animals who would kill them on sight.

  19. malclave says:

    The truth is out there…

  20. DaveO says:

Put her in charge of housing at the next Occupy protest. She could run Community Outreach to all the Occupiers who don’t talk like her.

  21. Eggs says:

Maybe she’s descended from the Minnesota Vikings – from the leather helmet generation.

  22. Ex-PH2 says:

‘a man could kill 50 people for almost 30 minutes’ I think Miss Moonbeam is referring to the crazy man who went to a youth camp on an island near Oslo and slaughtered the innocent a couple of years ago.

Must have blown Moonbeam’s mind, but the disconnect between the reality of that horror and Moonbeam’s ‘world of love’ is very real. She needs an island unto herself, with a warm fire, nice Beatrix Potter pictures and romance novels, and plenty of jam sandwiches and tea and cookies.

I’m sure she means well, but doesn’t get that the world is an appalling dog-eat/kill-dog place and without constant alertness on our part, the other dogs will kill and eat us. That could be the reason for her rambling and slightly incoherent discourse on what a cold, cruel world it is we live in and how we are all being manipulated.

  23. USMCE8Ret says:

Post a picture of her. I’m dying to see what she looks like.
