Outraged by the Rolling Stone cover this week, Massachusetts State Trooper Sean Murphy was suspended from his job for releasing the pictures he took the night that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was arrested after his participation in the Boston Marathon bombing, according to the Washington Times;

Sgt. Sean Murphy provided photos to Boston Magazine on Thursday, to show what he characterized as the suspect’s more genuine personality — evil — rather than the celebrity shot published on Rolling Stone’s cover, Fox News reported.

Just a few hours later, Boston Magazine editor John Wolfson tweeted that the officer had been relieved of duty.

“Sgt. Sean Murphy relieved of duty. Post coming shortly,” he tweeted.

Personally, I think that Tsarnaev looks good with that laser dot on his forehead. I hope SGT Murphy comes out of this well, he provided a badly needed service that we really needed this week.

I just wish who ever held the gun the laser was attached to had applied a little more pressure on the trigger…

#2: “Whoops, accidental discharge into dozhokhar’s head; somebody jostled me, nuthin’ I could do about it…”

  3. Will says:

I guess they do not want the public to see the REAL pics of a TERRORIST with RED DOTS on his head.

  4. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

Right, not sure what rules were violated by releasing this photo (if it was evidence or not?) but I hope there is no long term repercussion on this….

This little f#cker wanted to get to NYC to unleash more mayhem there, he’s not a topic for pretty photos and admiration but a topic of revulsion and disgust that should be facing a death sentence to put this turd with his brother.

“Here’ here’s a mirror. Check out your forehead, you little bastard. Now, go ahead and flinch.”

  6. Twist says:

Too bad the sniper’s trigger finger didn’t have a muscle spasm.

  7. OWB says:

Give the man a medal! Thank you, sir.

  8. NHSparky says:

According to the Boston Herald, he got a one-day suspension and an investigation.

But what really burns my ass is the fact that these photos and a whole lot more are going to be released (or would have been) in September ANYWAY.

Seriously? These tools are so butthurt over something they were going to do anyway?

And yeah, he looks REAL good with that dot on his forehead.

@8, that is the mentality at the MA. State Police. Da rules are da rules… he just upstaged someone else who was going to stand up and present a detailed power point presentation at the press briefing.

While I understand the way the stupid magazines want to humanize someone like him to be treated “fairly” it also adds them to the level of “rockstar” or more like “media whore” if they really wanted to “understand how it got there” they would look and realize is just pure religious fanaticism, they will obviously “skip that one” as it “too hot” of a topic, nobody wants to say it:

    “Religious fanaticism is dangerous”

Any religion taken to the extreme renders horrible results, why not just grab and say it if they are really wanting to show what happened? why try to figure out how a piece of shit got recruited? well fuck it takes no genius to realize this:

    1. If your parents do a shitty job you will not have enough morals, your faith will be shaky and your mind will be weak

    2. If you isolate yourself from the world then is also something the cults do, if suddenly someone is starting to talk about this “evil” that is against you believe .. beware, contrary to what most ppl think they are not so interesting to be looked at all the time, just bystanders in the grabbing fucking politics of this administration

    3. By being fast and swift you stop this idiocy, the sumerian cross has the blessing and properties of converting anyone that touches it, and so is holy oil used for the last rites, put that on bullets see how fast the get the fuck out as soon as touching the bullet blesses everything, thus becoming a christian.

    4. If you make a circus out of this nobody wins but the bad guys, be quick, be swift and show that we are not someone they really want to fuck with anymore (this would require guts something this administration has failed to do over and over so …)

Someone should start holding this magazines responsible for making someone as idiotic as the terrorists a fucking cover of the magazine, don’t they realize that will all this “famous” shit that is going around they are not helping? of course not but hey … is friday and I’m still mad none of my comments made the last complaint U_U …

    Happy friday all!

  11. NotAPilot says:

But if they shot him, he wouldn’t get to defend himself in court. Because he’s just a criminal, and not a terrorist or anything. Right?

  12. PintoNag says:

Does anybody in command of any governmental agency remember what right looks like anymore?

You don’t have to answer. That was a frustrated, rhetorical question.

  13. H1 says:

    Boom Boom.
    Out go the lights.

  14. NHSparky says:

The federal prosecutor all butthurt about this photo being released is Carmen Ortiz. For those unfamiliar, to say she’s overstepped her bounds a few times would be a kind understatement.

  15. Sparks says:

@10 Thank you for that post. Well said. I think the officer was only guilty of stepping outside the probable department policies. I hope he is back on duty soon. That red dot on the forehead does look good though. I only wish the perp had made one threatening move and then he may not have been on the cover of Rolling Stone.

  16. David says:

“See? You have a red dot on your forehead just like mine – but yours is from the laser sight” Carlos Mencia

  17. B Woodman says:

Red laser dot – the perfect accessory for the criminal set.

  18. ExHack says:

Sgt. Murphy did the right thing for the right reason, even though he knew it would cost him.

Need more like him, less like his ass covering bosses.
