Boycott Florida

| July 28, 2013 | 41 Comments

A number of Hollywood sh1tbags and political whores have called for a boycott of Florida for their “Stand Your Ground” laws in regards to self defense in the wake of the Zimmerman acquittal. Jesse Jackson just called for a boycott of Florida.

“We can boycott Florida, cut conventions in Florida, for its ‘stand your ground’ laws,” said Jackson, speaking on a panel at the National Urban League’s annual conference in Philadelphia. “If we can boycott South Africa and bring it down, we should boycott Florida and bring it down.”

I want to know why they’re targeting just Florida because 30 other states have those laws, too. That’s nearly half of the country, and the list of states includes Jackson’s own Illinois. Atlantic lists the states;

Alabama, Alaska, California,Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts (though the term is used very loosely there), Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming

In addition, Alaska’s SYG law takes effect in September. President Obama even sponsored a SYG bill when he was in the Illinois legislature, despite the fact that he opposes it now when it’s politically expedient to do so.

So look, why don’t you anti-SYG idiots boycott the rest of us, too? We need a break from your presence in our states, too. By the way, that’s half of the country you should be boycotting not just Florida. Put up or shut up.

Washington State has “No duty to retreat” essentially the same thing as I understand it. Also open carry

  2. Ex-PH2 says:

30 states? That’s more than half of the states in this country that have SYG laws.

Let those clowns in LaLaLand boycott Florida. They don’t do much there, anyway. I think the only thing filmed there is “Burn Notice”.

  3. 2/17 Air Cav says:

    I am boycotting boycotts.

  4. BCousins says:

As a resident of Florida I shall celebrate the absence of their idiocy.

  5. 3C3P says:

At the rate they are boycotting they will soon have no place to boycott.

  6. Sparks says:

@1 I did not know we had “No duty to retreat” here in Washington. I knew we had the defend your castle laws and open carry as well as concealed carry with a permit. Are you in Washington also?
As to the liberal ass bags please take your boycotts and shove them up your ass like a backwards pineapple! Boycott all the SYG states or none. By the way you dumbasses, Zimmerman’s defense was not based on stand your ground, but simple self defense, if I remember correctly. By the way Jackson travels with bodyguards whom I am sure are armed. Hypocrisy never ends. Ever see a Hollywood lidtard without their entourage of bodyguards?

  7. Sparks says:

I am sure Disney World is yawning, saying boycott, what boycott, ho-hum we have the parking lots filled. So much for a boycott I guess.

  8. A Proud Infidel & Patriot says:

WOOOO-HOOOO!!! LET them boycott our State!! Far too many libtards have already infested this State, the more that stay out, the merrier!! Maybe we could see the ones we have migrate back to where they came from, I’m full of optimism on this!!!

  9. Lando says:

We’ve been being boycotted by the NAACP and NCAA (I think still) in SC. Just to piss the boycotters off, people come here just to spend and offset the miniscule loss in revenue from those groups.

  10. B Woodman says:

    Dear Libtards,
PLEASE boycott Florida, and ALL other SYG states. Which means that you’ll pretty much stay home. You’ve already polluted your own states. Don’t come over and pollute mine (not Florida).

    With love and thanks,
    A Conservative

PS – Besides, with college Spring Break always an annual favorite, and Disney World, I don’t think your boycott will amoung to bupkiss.

  11. OWB says:

Where do we sign up volunteering our states for the boycott?

  12. Just An Old Dog says:

Just another rattling of the cages by the poverty pimps, aided by the has-beens, never was and wanna be relavents who pollute the media and entertainment industry.

  13. Just Plain Jason says:

So I wonder if they will be leaving the states that have stand your ground laws…

  14. Al T. says:

It’s a damn lie. They promised to boycott South Carolina and the asshats are still here. :(

  15. 2/17 Air Cav says:

Boycotts are so quaint. And as others here have said or suggested, certain places would love to be boycotted by the likes of Jesse “Gibberish” Jackson, Al “Mulch” Sharpton, and their 23 followers. I am quite confident that 1/2 of Detroit was planning to vacation in Florida before this call for a boycott. Right.

  16. Ex-PH2 says:

    Boycott Illinois. Please!

  17. Green Thumb says:

    Hollywood will not boycott Florida.

Vacations, Orange Juice, the Miami Heat and Photo ops.

  18. Herbert J Messkit says:

@6 I’m in Pierce County The below is from the Lewis County Sheriffs site.

Q: What is the “no duty to retreat law”?
A: Washington State has no “duty to retreat,” as precedent was set in State v. Studd (1999) and State v. Reynaldo Redmond (2003) when the court found: “that there is no duty to retreat when a person is assaulted in a place where he or she has a right to be.”

    From this Link http://lewiscountywa.gov/sheriff/information-on-use-of-deadly-force

  19. PhillyandBCEagles says:

So he’s running his mouth in Philadelphia….Pennsylvania has a SYG law….

    ……….

  20. DaveO says:

Who has the money to go on vacations? The whole economy is a freaking boycott!

Just more bullshyte to get the Welfarians to send their cash (our taxes) to the race-hustlers in time for the next election.

  21. William says:

I’m a Florida resident, and when this first started cropping up everyone I know was all for it. I live right on the beach, and I’ll be be happy that everyone stays home.

  22. A boycott by Thee
    Leaves more Florida for Me.

  23. Ex-PH2 says:

Am I the only one who finds it offensive that Jesse Jackwagon is taking credit for South Africa’s change in its apartheid policy?

  24. Wrench Monkey says:

And we all see how well the S.A boycott worked out. Practically paradise on earth, right, Jesse? Kinda like Detroit and Chicago……only bigger.

  25. Ex-PH2 says:

WRench Monkey, Chicago isn’t like Detroit just yet. Give it time.

  26. EdUSMCleg says:

Lmao. This just makes me laugh. The “boycotters” don’t make up a real large percentage of those who come her anyways. No f*$%s given.

  27. ohio says:

Wow, they would have to boycott 30 states?
    Works for me, leave please.

  28. UpNorth says:

Ex, Chicago has overtaken Detroit. At least in shootings and murders.
It’ll take a while for the burned out buildings and acres of abandoned homes.
@24. I know a pharmacist who works nearby. He’s from S.A. and came here a while back. He says that he’ll go underground here before he goes back there. I told him to just apply for welfare and tell ICE that he’s related to Baracka. Sure fire way to get amnesty.

  29. 2/17 Air Cav says:

So what if rape is now the South African national men’s sport? So what is there is no country on the planet with a higher incidence of baby (!) and child rapes. So what if robberies routinely occur at restaurants and other public places by gangs and the homicide rate makes Detroit, D.C., LA, Baltimore, and Chicago seem like pastoral parks? The important thing is that apartheid is ended and that Jesse “Gibberish” Jackson did it himself!

  30. jonp says:

Damn, I didn’t see North Carolina on that list. I think NC should boycott Jackson.

  31. Bruce says:

I understand Stevie Wonder said he would not do any
performances in Florida. My question is how would he know?

  32. A Proud Infidel & Patriot says:

Yeah, SC is just quivering over their “boycott” isn’t it? The only thing I predict is a plummet in purchases of MD 20/20, Ripple, and Thunderbird in FL unless Paul “Pee Wee” Wickre comes down to visit Phillip Dale Monkress!

  33. OWB says:

So, among other things, Jesse is taking credit for the increase in incidences of pedophilia and rape??? Hmmmmm.

  34. SSG Medzyk says:

California does NOT have a SYG Law. We have the bare skinny version of a Castle Law:

(paraphrased) “If you are in fear of physical harm or death, or are in fear of physical harm or death of another or family member, proper force up to and including deadly force is allowed.”

You will still get wrung out for not doing all you can to get away from the situation. But if you can’t, at least we can still kill the bastard……………..then get the best fucking lawyer money can buy.

  35. Wex6 says:

I like how he called for a boycott of FL for SYG in Philly, PA that has SYG.

  36. Ex-PH2 says:

Could we just boycott Jesse Jackwagon? Seriously, he has a problem.

Chaka Kahn, who is now 60, got the block of the street where she went to school, named for her over the weekend. And guess who showed up to be in the middle of it????

Go on, guess. I dare you.

  37. NHSparky says:

Stevie Wonder isn’t gonna play 40-year old songs in FL anymore? Oh, noes!

And as far as NH goes? We’re 98 percent white already. Not really sure how a black-led boycott here would work.

  38. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

With rare exceptions this is another meaningless gesture by a bunch of f$cking idiots who enjoy making meaningless gestures….the folks in Western Massachusetts talking about are folks who weren’t going to Florida anyway….it’s not really a boycott if you weren’t going anyhow….it’s like boycotting grapes when you never drink wine or eat them….meaningless…

We have some folks in Northampton Mass (liberal puke town that continuously passes resolutions against everything from Iraq to nuclear and fossil fuels…)they are standing regularly in the town circle with signs protesting some real or imagined slight….but I always ask them to whom are they protesting? People in their town who agree with them? How does that kind of protest make a difference? This boycott of Florida is like that for the most part, a bunch of wienies who weren’t going there anyway now claiming they aren’t going by design….f$cking idiots.
