Friday morning feel good story

| March 28, 2014

Ohio sends us our morning feel good story, this time it comes from Detroit where a 54-year-old woman heard someone breaking into her house. She knows the sound because it’s happened seven times before;

The woman warned the intruder she had a gun and was going to shoot him if he came into her home, but the man continued entering through the side window and the woman shot him in the chest.

The man ran but fell in the street. Police said he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

    “Stupid is as stupid does.”

Apparently the late perp had a problem comprehending clear spoken English.

  2. LebbenB says:

SEVEN prior break-ins? I think I would have armed myself a little sooner. Still, it’s good that the home owner is okay. No telling what Joe Badguy would have done had he successfully made entry.

  3. B Woodman says:

Awesome. She had enough caliber. And no further range time needed.
The city/county/state should present her a medal and a cash award for saving the citizens tax money from supporting this yut. It would have been either welfare or jail, good money gone to waste.

    • Sparks says:

B Woodman…when you’re right, you’re right. She did it all by the book and left LOADS of tax dollars still in the budget to boot!

  4. MAJMike says:

Well done! We’ll update her job book accordingly.

  5. Jason says:

What a great way to start off the day with my coffee and doughnut. Great for the homeowner.

This is the result of having a defender of the 2nd Ammendment for a Police chief. The new Chief is a strong believer in armed citizens defending their lives and property. He has stated that shooting bad guys is a civic duty and Detroiters are taking him at his word.

  7. Hack Stone says:

Another example of when the redistribution of wealth goes terribly wrong.
