Dedrick Foust meets Don Shipley

Dedrick Foust

Don Shipley calls Dedrick Justin Selenski-Foust, a dude on a fly-fishing blog, who says that he guarded submarines while he was being booted out of the Navy. He’s been arrested in Boise for threatening people with a gun over a property dispute. Apparently he claims that NCIS covered up his Navy SEAL service. He’s also claiming he has PTSD and he has pictures to prove it (whatever that means). You have to chuckle at the last link where the reporter calls it “Post Dramatic Stress Disorder”. His Facebook page is gone now that he’s talked to Senior..

  1. NHSparky says:

Uh, yeah, no. We had topside and pier sentry watches on the boat and none of them were SEALs. Matter of fact, they were junior to the Below Decks Watch and nuke watch stations.

And NO, there were no SEALs guarding Lower Base in Bangor either.

    • Rob in NH says:

NHSparky, you are mistaken. There are several seals on the beach around Bangor. In fact, there are signs warning against approaching them. I guess they can get grouchy sometimes….

That is what you meant, right?

      • Fish says:

Rob, per chance were you nuke on missile boats at Bangor in early 90′s? Lost track of former HS classmate with same name and last known locale was NH.

      • NHSparky says:

Bangor seals like those that play horns and eat fish at Sea World, yes.

        SEALs that eat snakes, no.

        Not in Bangor.

  2. A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Another successful verbal curb-stomping done by The Hair®™!!

  3. MrBill says:

Post-Dramatic Stress Disorder = stage fright?

    • ArmyATC says:

Post Dramatic Press Disorder. What phonies develop when caught lying about their non-existent claims of heroism and the results posted on Don Shipley’s YouTube Channel, TAH, Scotty’s Place, and others. Symptoms include whining, crying, childish tantrums, and curling into a fetal position and sucking ones thumb while mumbling, “The Hair®™ got me.”

      • Ty says:

PTSD is a real condition that affects many of our military. This is quite bothersome that you would make that into a joke. This is so sad how our society is so quick to believe anything they see and trash people through media. I see so many military struggle with PTSD and how it affects their daily life. I did not find this funny or entertaining. This video was upsetting to see don taking photos with passed out bums and laughing about it. All the different ridiculous photos being shown while talking to this man on the phone. I’m am not a fan. All this negative time and energy. I am not a fan!

        • Marine_7002 says:

You’re completely missing the point of the sarcasm and invective being directed at Foust. He’s a lying, valor-stealing turd who doesn’t have PTSD and deserves every bit of scorn and anger that is directed his way. You should be directing your ire at him.

          • Ty says:

That’s what I mean you have absolutely no idea if he does or doesn’t Just because Don says he doesn’t does mean it’s true.

            • Green Thumb says:

              This dude gargles balls.

            • Sparks says:

Ty…You’re writing to a room of mostly veterans. ALL of which and even the civilians here WELL understand the problems of and with PTSD. As far as “Don saying so”. Don, is a Retired Navy SEAL and makes it his work, along with other things, to verify claims, brought to his attention, of being a SEAL. Most of the time, those requests come from VSOs, potential employers looking at a resume or someone who shows up at the VA wanting benefits and many other means. These posers are brought to him, for verification, not the other way around. Per your writing, I don’t know exactly how much “military” you have been around with PTSD but you make it sound like you belong to the local PTSD R-Us Chapter. From the way you write I bet money that you are not a veteran or active duty. When you get a clue about what Stolen Valor means to a veteran, especially on this solemn day of remembrance, then come back and talk. Until then, take a seat son and listen to the grown ups talk. You might get your head out of “it” before then and learn something.

  4. Delta Force Ranger Navy SEAL says:

All I want to know is does Don Shipley even gun? I don’t see a CAR.

  5. Delta Force Ranger Navy SEAL says:

Does Don Shipley even gun? Where is his CAR?

    • ArmyATC says:

He carries his gun concealed in the hair. His car is most likely in his driveway.

      • Sapper3307 says:

The Dons hair is so strong he doesn’t even have to wrap his head in tinfoil when dealing with the fakes an posers.

  6. streetsweeper says:

I wanna sign up for that SEAL school now, the one that jackass didn’t go to. 2018! Can’t make that shit up…Oh wait, Foust already did, lol!

  7. C2Show says:

Love Boise, was stationed at Mtn Home. I would have loved to been around there to find this loser. He probably slumming in Caldwell or some trailer trash camper. Judging from his dumbass, he probably gotten his ass whooped a few times downtown.

  8. Ex-PH2 says:

NCIS covered up his SEAL service? No, NCIS UNCOVERS things. Just ask Gibbs.

  9. Lion7Yeoman says:

About ten years ago, there was a gate guard at the submarine base in Groton who wore a trident. I never asked him what he did to get stuck on that detail; there were plenty of rumors around the base about him getting kicked out of the Team for various reasons. But he definitely was not this jackass.

  10. Just an Old Dog says:

    From the Arrest report,
Arrested: Dedrick Justin Selensky-Foust, 33, Boise
    Charged: Aggravated Assault (F)

Boise Police were called by a victim, a resident of a home in the area of Gary Lane and N. Lamplighter Sunday morning, July 24th at approx 2:36 a.m. The victim reported an acquaintance had entered the home and threatened two people inside with a handgun. Both occupants of the home were able to get out safely. When officers arrived, the suspect was still inside the house, but cooperated with officers commands to come outside and peacefully surrender. The suspect was booked into the Ada County jail on the above charge. The incident apparently revolves around an ongoing property dispute.

    • Instinct says:

Too bad the report didn’t read this way:

When the occupants were confronted they both defended themselves with firearms they had upon their persons. The perpetrator was dead at the scene with 32 extra holes in his body of the .45 and 9mm variety

      • Fred smith says:

I think that remark is absolutely appalling!!

        • Ex-PH2 says:

          Oh, come on, Foust!

Just how many times are you going to sock puppet yourself before you ‘get’ that we know who you are and what you are doing? Huh?

Or are you really that dumb?

  11. MCPO NYC USN Ret. says:

Post Thespian Stage Disorder … You can catch it by believing you were THERE!

  12. Just an Old Dog says:

Apparently old fraudy Faust is quite the outdoorsman, he won a turkey call contest.

  13. Just an Old Dog says:

Looks like he bamboozled this guy who writes a fishing blog. He is alreadly being called out on the comments.

  14. Thunderstixx says:

Another secret squirrel came into Wally World today.
I have yet to meet a truck driver or clerk that was in Vietnam… All of them were unknown to the world and ran secret drug ops for the CIA.This guy was just another of them…

    • MustangCryppie says:

The community I was in during my time in the USN supplied the manpower for the mission on USS Pueblo. I met a guy once who told me that he’d met so many guys who were supposed to have been on Pueblo that the pier should have collapsed under the weight the day the ship pulled out. Ha!

  15. Green Thumb says:

This dude ties flies to his “manpole” and catches “fish”.

    Maggot fly he is….

    Turd.

  16. ExHack says:

I was literally yanking on my own eye sockets listening to that stream of unconsciousness. He sounds like he’s got some kind of brain injury for reals. Conscience is also seriously on the blink, too.

    • Jose says:

Maybe this dude really does have a brain injury. It’s not cool to make fun of someone having a brain injury. There is usually much more to a persons story or life.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

Hey, Jose, how about the ‘dude’ is just plain stupid to think he can get away with trying to scam a retired Navy SEAL?

Try that on for size, chapo.

  17. MustangCryppie says:

“You have to chuckle at the last link where the reporter calls it “Post Dramatic Stress Disorder”. ”

Betcha he has PDSD after his little bulkhead counseling session from the Senior Chief!

  18. Derek says:

Showed the wife this clip, her first time seeing “The Hair”….she turns to me and says “people just go out on the news and say this stuff? Why don’t the news people just do their research?!” Told her that’s exactly why TAH, Jonn, Don, et al exist. Keep up the good work.

  19. Michael says:

    Don Shipley is awesome.

    • Blue says:

I’ve never thought much of Dons Videos. This came across my FB page. Thought this was a bit much.

      • Jonn Lilyea says:

Ty and Blue are the same person. Both are in Idaho. Sockpuppetry at it’s worst, Dedrick.

        • C2Show says:

Well Dedrick comes off as an idiot. This should not surprising…poor moron doesn not realize how IP addresses work.

          • C2Show says:

This should not be* surprising. Especially, how he is in that video. He just continues lying even after Don calls him out on it.

        • Green Thumb says:

If this tool is in Idaho maybe he should look up that loser Matthew Beck.

          • C2Show says:

Or Bill Brockbrader aka Bill Wood..Garden Valley’s finest. Man I didn’t realize Boise had some fucked up folks.

        • Ty says:

I’m not Foust. I’m someone else that knows you are wrong and have all this twisted! Yes I’m in Idaho and I do realize how an IP address works.

          • Hondo says:

Um, don’t think so amigo. Shipley can indeed check the status of SEAL claims.

If the guy had been through SEAL training, he’d be listed. He isn’t.

One is not a SEAL without first going through the training. It’s a prerequisite.

If you know that guy and he’s told you otherwise, odds are extremely good you’ve been lied to to your face. And PTSD is no excuse for that.

  20. Green Thumb says:

    Scumbag.

  21. 2/17 Air Cav says:

Don is taking editing lessons from someone. These videos keep getting better and better. The still pic w/ Bourbon Street drunks? Classic. The stories–the question to Diane that ended her heat complaints. A scream. I used to watch Burns and Allen. These two make me feel like I’m still watching them.

  22. AverageNCO says:

I don’t know which is more of a pathetic failure. Is it claiming a BUD/S class in the future, or the gawd-awful attempt at sock puppetry? Even the cheese gobbler thinks that’s a bad attempt at sock-puppeting.

  23. AverageNCO says:

Looks like Foust had his sock puppet theater in full performance mode on this blog. My favorite part is that he said his lawyer was going to Don a “seize and diarist letter”
