Kate Garneau is not in the Navy

| November 15, 2016

Kate Garneau (1)

Someone sent us their work on this young lady, Kate Garneau who is claiming to be an active duty sailor in the US Navy;

Garneau FB

I think she’s claiming to be SeaBee;

Garneau SeaBee

But the Navy says that it’s not true;

Garneau DD214

She spent two months and five days on active duty last year and then they put her back on the street.

    It’s two week wannabe-be day
    BHWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder how many free meals they got on Veterans Day

  2. Ex-PH2 says:

Shuffled her right off the quarter deck? Well, thank goodness the Navy does exhibit some common sense!

  3. ChipNASA says:

Just long enough to not complete Basic training and get admin discharged out.
    Sounds legit.
I’d be pissed if I went almost all the w3ay to the end (Say maybe she made it 6 weeks) and then they take 2 1/2 weeks to paperwork my ass out.
    I’d have been embarrassed.

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

When I was in Engineer OSUT we had one that got booted one week before graduation and our DS’s told us of one in the cycle before us that there was one booted just three days before graduation.

      • swormy says:

Oh yea, I saw the same thing happen at Leonard Wood in 81.

Guy got his discharge the week we were preparing for graduation.

He was constantly screwing up to that point so he could get discharged, he didn’t realize that it would take so long. Play stupid games…

        • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

          Good ‘ol “Fort Lost-in-the-woods”… I graduated from A/35th as a 12C.

          • swormy says:

E/2/4, 62B. Did the Engineer thing for seven years until I got smart and became AG.

The office was a hell of a lot warmer than the motorpool in Germany.

  4. CB Senior says:

I would call her a pant load but she did not stick around long enough to rate.
I have a level for you to pull cupcake.

  5. Dolch Mann says:

    The Stupid; IT BURNS!!!!!!!

  6. Graybeard says:

    *facepalm*

    Another wannabe today?
Kate Garneau are you trying to pick up dudes or something? Or just unable to face your failures?

  7. Reaperman says:

Wow. It’s not like becoming a Seabee is really shooting for the moon here. She must be a really screwed up. Most fakes are super high speed, nuclear SEAL test pilots, or something. Not that I’m cutting on Seabees, but I expect that most people who want to be one that bad get to actually be one.

    • CB Senior says:

No we Seabee’s do not shoot for the moon, We just move it.

    • Ex-Garbage Gun Shooter says:

We had a SEAL assigned to the 610 for a bit back in the 70s. This guy was an E2 but he had more chest candy than the entire engineering department combined so I’m thinking there was more to his E2ness than meets the eye…

Being that this was a nuke boat and he was a real SEAL I felt it important to point out that I, for one, have seen a real life nuclear SEAL.

    • CE2(SCW) says:

It’s way easier to destroy than it is to create, that’s why most people want to be a Seal and not a Seabee.

We have the harder job 🙂

  8. Dapandico says:

Her getting bulldozed by Johns made her a cee be.

  9. deckie says:

She had a Navy Veteran post on her wall… when the link to this article went up in the comments section, she scrubbed it, but left her EO claim up in her job history.

    • The Al says:

Aaaaand she’s locked her Facebook page down to prevent comments

    • CA_SGT says:

They always leave their friends list public and I have a lot of free time.

“Hey, you’re friends with this girl so I thought I’d fill ya in. She claims to be in the Navy and seeks accolades as a “Vet” but washed outta Basic Training. http://thisainthell.us/blog/?p=68950

      • ChipNASA says:

        YOU, You’re good…you….you’re good….

      • ChipNASA says:

Not saying anything but out of 927 I’ve already counted dozens of folks that are National Guard past, President and Active Navy and Army “Friends” of hers that might be mighty pissed she’s embellishing.

      • Claw says:

Yep, she sure does have some interesting FB friends.

Especially Cletus Cousinfukker, Jr. who works at “Disability”.

I’m surprised he’s not claiming to be a SEAL Sniper, although I doubt if it’s a real person.

But then again, he may be real. So if you do Facebook, check him out. He’s a riot.

  10. Semper Idem says:

I see from that Facebook capture that this fugazi Seabee is ‘in a relationship’.

Okay, which poser is this chick hooking up with? Birds of a feather, right?

  11. HT3 '83-'87 says:

My guess is she failed her boot camp drug screening, and does want to tell Mom & Dad she got the boot from boot…get it! The boot from boot…I kill myself sometimes.

  12. ChipNASA says:

IDC SARC needs to give her a disciplining.

  13. Green Thumb says:

    Pretty girl.

    And pretty stupid.

Looks like another “court martial discharge”.

  14. HMCS(FMF) ret says:

Maybe she “see a bee” when she was 5… but she’s not a Seabee.

She needs a good little spanking, IDC SARC-style.

  15. Sparks says:

I bet if you squeeze her, she makes a queef. 😀

    Phonies gonna be phonies.

  16. Graybeard says:

Either the coffee or the sleep deprivation is kicking in, but I just realized that we have our poster girl for “Pretty Stupid” right here.

  17. FatCircles0311 says:

    Really, a Seabee?

Did she not get the memes they are older fat guys with mustashes? ?

  18. Nikita Puskac says:

    I know her personally.

She got injured in boot and medically separated. She made it to near the end of boot.

    • Claw says:

Well if you know her personally, tell her to get in there and update her FB page.

She was separated just this past June and five months is more than enough time to do a few simple keystrokes and stop lying to the world.

Oh, wait, she’s been “too busy” in her new relationship to get that done.

Clue her in. She’s not helping herself by continuing the lie of still being on active duty.

    • Silentium Est Aureum says:

WTF happened that she got hurt in boot? Marine or Army boot, maybe, but Navy boot?

She have to stand in the chow line too long one day?

    • ChipNASA says:

And medically separated is also Administrative3ly separated but not medically retired. ??

Someone clue me in on this. Basic for me was 32 years ago.

We had 2 guys that were both. one medically retired snapped his leg testing for the PJ AFSC during basic and then one nutjob we had to guard till his ass went and got on a bis for home.

      • Graybeard says:

Is it not an option in boot to let it heal and continue on?

I cannot see any of the guys and gals I know in the various branches letting something like a broken leg keep them from serving. (I have former Scouts or Venturers who’ve served in every single branch, BTW.)

        • Just An Old Dog says:

It depends on the injury, and also the recruits medical history. Something that would be deemed to be chronic (bad hips, knees, back, ankles)generally mean its not worth keeping someone around. All much the better if they can tie it to a pre-existing condition that existed prior to enlistment. That means the VA doesn’t have to dish out bennies.

          • Graybeard says:

Thanks, Old Dog. I can see that. I would expect most chronic stuff to be screened out by the physicals, but I guess some stuff doesn’t show up until the stresses of boot.

If a Ranger can return to active after having one leg blown off… but not everyone can do that.

    • Graybeard says:

      a) “Injured” how?
      b) How did it require separation – or did she just want out?
      c) Explain the “SeaBees” claim.
      d) Explain the “Equipment Operator” claim.

Pardon my cynicism, but the false claims with the early discharge points toward a less-than-stellar individual.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

Fell out of the rack, no doubt. That two feet to the deck must have been dreadfully traumatic.

    • CA_SGT says:

We’ve had people who went to basic with her and say that’s not correct. See the facebook comments above.

  19. Deplorable B Woodman says:

Wow! A female poser. Scarcer than hen’s teeth.

  20. deckie says:

And there goes the profile… poof!!!! Gone.

    • ChipNASA says:

      Internet is FOREVER BIATCHES!!!

Well Kate Garneau will learn that posing is not cool and that Kate Garneau never got out of boot and Kate Garneau should not be claiming to be a SeaBee because Kate Garneau real SeaBees are BADASSES. Is movie is not too far off the mark of getting out there and busting your ass in desolate areas under austere conditions, WHICH you never did.
So Kate Garneau , here is some GOOGLE LOVE Kate Garneau

Same thing with my USAF Beloved Red Horse and Prime Beef guys and gals. They actually do stuff build stuff make stuff and make shit happen. Kate Garneau

      • jarhead says:

ChipNASA….good to read you again. Thanks for reminding us how we make people Internet Famous when they try to exert control over their F B page.

Kate Garneau, how’d you become so popular on the Internet when you are so F B unremarkable?

    • CA_SGT says:

She’s blocked you profile is still there.

  21. Graybeard says:

    Dear Kate Garneau, you’re busted!

Kate Garneau is not in the U.S. Navy.
Kate Garneau is not a SeaBee.
Kate Garneau got discharged before completing boot camp (in the Navy, no less!)
Kate Garneau can run, but Kate Garneau cannot hide from reality.

  22. Ex-PH2 says:

Anyone know if she’s still hanging around Great Lakes? That restaurant over on the highway always has an opening for waitresses and table bussers.

  23. Marci Harrington says:

They should make all these Phonies join the branch of service they are pretending to part of and force them to serve without the chance of being discharged till the service term is completed. So they can’t just wash out.

  24. ex-OS2 says:

    Wafflesucker?

  25. CA_SGT says:

HOLY SHIT!!! The Butthurt is real with this one. 900 something messages sent out today to her friends and the enablers/apologists are coming out of the wood work in my message box.

No Seabee claims that I noticed, but there are pictures of her in “Navy PT gear” on her instagram feed so she must be legit. Right!?!

  27. David Pomeroy says:

We had a guy in AF Basic Training that had been sent back so much, we called him Henry the VIII.
