Nothing wrong with being a bus driver.

  2. Bubblehead Ray says:

This is getting fascinating as hell. I feel like I’m binge watching something on Netflix. LOL ?

  3. LiRight says:

I’m glad you posted these two segments/videos, Jonn. I think we all learned something.

Cameron Gamble made the right “gamble” to visit Don Shipley. (couldn’t resist, lol)

  4. Deplorable B Woodman says:

To go mano-a-mano with The Hair © is impressive in its own right.
If MSCPO (being Army, did I get that right?) Don ever decides to take on an apprentice, there’s the man.

    • IDC SARC says:

close SCPO would be correct or since he was a Boatswain BMCS….since SEALs became a rating today it would be SOCS.

  5. Dave Hardin says:

If it walks like a Duck and Talks like a Duck…It’s probably a Goose.

Forgive me for not going all in with my support of a Gamble.

Sounds like a nice guy…lets look a bit deeper.

There are reports that this “Church” can teach you to speak in tongues for $4,500.

Ahh…but thats nothing folks. Not only can you also learn to “raise the dead” they can teach your kids to be a Prophesier, they too can be taught to raise the dead. Well, thats what many people have to say anyway. What kind of parent sends their kids to this place?

Google is our friend here, there seem to be lots of interesting results when this place is searched, particularly when the word “cult” is added.

Anyway, little Cameron here has a bunch of claims that have been posted about his “experience”. This kind of claim appears in several places:

“Cameron’s been training the U.S. Military Special Ops community on survival tactics since shortly after September 11, 2001.” Umm…No Cameron you have not. You didn’t join the Air Force until the following year and had nothing to do with training any “Special Ops” anyone during your time in service. You were trained…just like everyone else that’s on a flight crew is to do their particular job.
I confirmed the following through SCRA; his Active Duty Start Date was May-30-2002 with an Active Duty End Date of Jul-01-2005 and he was Air Force Active Duty.

Cameron seems to have his share of Quacks around him. He thrust himself into the spotlight and it seems he is having some problems dealing with the unintended consequences of doing so. I can’t find him registered with or even attending any Private Investigator program.

But, what the hell…if he had any part of getting a young lady released good on him. Those who see him as an opportunist using a horrific event to promote himself have probably done some Google Fu themselves.

When it comes to his skeptics he needs to STFU. I was able to find all this out by using my new girlfriend “Alexa”. She knows all kinds of stuff. If you got one try asking her, “Alexa, if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck..what is it”.

    • Donna says:

As soon as it became known and from my own research that CG is affiliated with Bethel Church,as is Lisa Jeter. I have since figure the Papini case is a hoax. Lisa Jeter is and the anonymous doner? He is someone who they say, said “God came in to his heart and told him to help!”! Don Shipley should ask CG this. Imo, it Sounds like-False Prophet Bill Johnson.
Why is the lies not reveled about the beginning of the alleged ransom also? That they happened to just be in Redding. Ca. when they heard about Sherri, staying at a motel for 3 days! When later revealed CG and the donor, lived in Redding. Why the cover-up!! Please continue in the effort to expose this False Prophet, CG,even the go- funders that associate with Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry/BSSM, that is taken over our small town, housing and businesses. And ty for sharing and being a concerned citizen about Bethel. Bethelites are invading Redding,CA.- from all over the world hoping to find Heaven on Earth and only finding false hope, some left homeless when they don’t adhire to rules and classes, like
Treasure Hunting, going out on the streets looking for vulnerable victims to “save”, etc.. Don’t drink their Kool-aid…

  6. 2/17 Air Cav says:

I guess the video is for those who are curious or knew about this matter before Part I was posted. I am neither. Shipley gave this fellow his Good Housekeeping seal of approval and, truly, that’s all I need to know.

  7. Prince of Tides says:

Call me skeptical but I grow leary when Don Shipley mobilizes the Stolen Valor community. I can’t help but feel there there is usually some kind of self-promotional angle to it. Shipley has done a lot of great work over the years but I feel that he has strayed from the first love.

He now “exposes” fake Navy Seals to a small community of paid subscribers.

It seems that the value of an exposure would be to alert the public at large vs. an extremely small subset of people. I understand and support the reasons that he left YouTube but the truth is he was using intellectual property of others when he took film clips and songs. He could have adapted and created a product without those things and continued on YouTube without violating YouTube policy, but read and promoted it that YouTube was clamping down on him. Also, he could still publish a list or small case of each exposure to inform a larger audience but still keep his behind the scenes videos for his paid audience.

I called myself a fan and made the jump over to a paid subscription. It quickly turned into content about Diane’s recipes, Brandi’s wedding and house hunting in Maryland. Cute and endearing, but if I wanted to be a voyeur into someone elses life I would watch more reality TV. Not slamming Diane or Brandi but it all felt like a bait and switch.

To be fair, it was probably a case of not being able to supply a steady stream of interesting Seal stolen valor cases which nobody can control. However, in my view when Don was faced with this reality he hyped each case that we either didn’t want to miss it and it would be the greatest thing we’ve ever seen and change the stolen valor community forever. In almost every case it was a let down. I’m not faulting Don but I’m saying just don’t hype it into something it isn’t. It is what it is and let each video or case stand on its own merit.

I admire what Shipley does but have reservations about his way of doing business. In my opinion, he has evolved into nothing less than a carnival barker and one has to pay to see the show behind the tent. These valor thieves are hurting people yet their names are available for the price of admission.

Now, Shipley has embarked on a new adventure – providing fishing and hunting services for veterans. Each time he needs the help of the Stolen Valor community it is usually a hook into something he is trying to promote. I wish I was wrong, but what I see makes me uncomfortable.

    • 26Limabeans says:

If it is for profit in order to survive and fight another day…good for him.
If it is for profit in order to expand the network…good for him.
If it is for profit in order to help fellow veterans…good for him.
Fighting SV is expensive in oh so many ways.

      • Prince of Tides says:

26Limabeans – If my daughter chooses to date a guy claiming to be a Navy Seal and he was somebody that Shipley already exposed, that information or his name can not be Googled.

I would have to somehow do reading and discover that Don Shipley is the go to guy for Navy Seal fakes. I would then have to either find his email and ask him specifically about the guy in question or subscribe to his website and sort through the videos to determine if he has been exposed, or talk to Don about exposing someone new.

Don himself said in earlier YouTube videos that he makes people famous on Google but that’s no longer true. It is hidden behind a firewall.

Not slamming the guy. Just pointing out an inconvenient fact.

        • 26Limabeans says:

It is my understanding that he is not the only source for the information you seek and that he shares info with others. I could of course be wrong and falling for some internet scam but
I do not think so. I have not paid to see what is behind the wall. But I do appreciate the clever use of TAH at no particular cost to me.

        • Ret_25X says:

apparently you do not know how to use youtube or google if you cannot search those whom have been outed.

That seems to indicate something about you and nothing about anyone else.

But please, tell us all about how your lack of skills and knowledge is someone else’s problem. I am certain a community of “learn to do it myself” types are just waiting to hear your excuses.

  8. 2/17 Air Cav says:

“I wish I was wrong, but what I see makes me uncomfortable.” I feel the same way when I see two fags holding hands or kissing, Prince.

    • Sparks says:

You owe me a keyboard 2/17 Air Cav!!!!! LMAO

    • Prince of Tides says:

I wonder how the princess felt when she was told to kiss the frog and it’ll turn into a handsome prince.

In then end, all she did was kiss a frog.

      I see where you’re going.

      • Ex-PH2 says:

I wonder why you have issues with people making a living in retirement, doing something they think is worthwhile. There’s a disconnect at your end between the cost of doing something – basically, paying for it – and how to generate enough income to keep it going.

        • Prince of Tides says:

Respectfully, the issue is not with people making a living in retirement, or specifically charging to recover expenses for the cost of doing business.

The issue is doing stolen valor exposures behind closed doors to a very small group of people.

The information should benefit the general public, wouldn’t you agree?

My point is I feel there is nothing wrong with the way Shipley is doing things as far as making money, it is just he should also find a way to provide the names of the fruits of his labor to a wider audience in the spirit of awareness.

YouTube is free. A big reason that YouTube clamped down on Shipley is because he was using illegal, copyrighted content in the way of movie clips and songs.

If he chooses to do Stolen Valor for profit or cost recovery, more power to him. I wish him well, I sincerely do. I am just cautious when there in an invocation of esprit de corps with the stolen valor community when there’s a hook that is not in the spirit of let’s make the stolen valor world a better place.

          • Sparks says:

“it is just he should also find a way to provide the names of the fruits of his labor to a wider audience in the spirit of awareness.”

The operative phrase in there is “fruits of HIS LABOR”, with which SCPO Don Shipley can do as he pleases.

            Just my thought.

            • Prince of Tides says:

Not saying he should make his videos available for free, just the names of the fake Seals he has exposed.

If people want to see more of the nuts and bolts (videos) they can subscribe. Just a suggestion to make it feel more like a community.

We are in agreement in that Shipley can do what he wants and that’s his right. My point is I am cautious when it is painted that the SV community is a brotherhood and we need to help Don out for the sake of the community. I have learned to be cautious and consider everything, because there is usually more to the picture than meets the eye, and usually a cost is associated with it and I am not strictly talking about money.

          • Ret_25X says:

“The information should benefit the general public, wouldn’t you agree?”

Not only do I disagree, but the SCOTUS disagrees.

You are not entitled to the intellectual property or creative property of others based solely on your desire to bear no cost to yourself in gaining advantage of said property.

I’m sure you are not ready to hear this, but you are not entitled to the fruits of the labors of others unless you have a contract that defines such relationships. In other words, like a sales contract, or an employment contract.

I know that this is not popular in this FSA age, but there you go.

            • Prince of Tides says:

You are not entitled to the intellectual property or creative property of others based solely on your desire to bear no cost to yourself in gaining advantage of said property.

You mean like in movie clips and songs?

        • Prince of Tides says:

Can Jonn republish Shipley’s Seal cases to provide a greater awareness or is that information proprietary?

Wouldn’t this be what they call a win-win?

          • 2/17 Air Cav says:

Cripes, Prince. You’re not asking too much, are you? And I’m no Navy guy but I do know that seal is a word and SEAL is an acronym and that the two are not interchangeable.

            • Prince of Tides says:

              OK, my bad.

I’m looking for you to add something substantive to my original post or are you just going to restrict yourself to making quips and spell check?

              Let’s stay on point.

Are you now or have you ever been a subscriber to Don Shipley’s website?

              • 2/17 Air Cav says:

“Let’s stay on point. Are you now or have you ever been a subscriber to Don Shipley’s website?”

Look, Prince. This isn’t a critic’s corner for disappointed subscribers to anyone’s website. You got a beef? Shipley is available, I’m sure. This isn’t the place for your issue. So, yeah, I’ll stick with quips. You earned them. And Spellcheck won’t help with seals/SEALs.

                • Prince of Tides says:

I’ll take that as a no that you have never subscribed to Shipley’s website.

So, I spent money for a service and have an opinion. You snipe at my opinion but have never supported Shipley with any of your own money.

                  Who has been more supportive?

Ironically, I recognized that it was not the service that I thought it was but understood that many were well served by it and continue to be.

I actually would have stayed with the service for a longer period of time but one of Shipley’s staff supplied the complete list of paid subscribers to Dan Bernath. I just felt a little violated and wish there were more protection measures in place.

2/17 Air Cav – I’d propose that if you really want to support Don Shipley you would subscribe to his website and stick with it for a long time.

You think you are helping and you are actually hurting. I thought long and hard before I made my post and I will defend the point I had made. They more that you engage the more this may prove embarrassing to the very person you seek a head pat from.

Again, my point is and has always been look before you leap.

                  • 2/17 Air Cav says:

“I just felt a little violated….” Holy good night. Did you really just write that? Tell me you’re a chick and I’ll leave you alone. Otherwise, I haven’t even gotten warmed up yet, Prince.

                  • Jonn Lilyea says:

I caught shit when I went to a front page format because someone who clearly doesn’t understand websites and the internet accused me of making everyone click more on the website which somehow turned into money for me. Between donations and ad income, I about break even on this operation, but folks get pissed when they see us trying to make money, for some reason.

Shipley is doing better than I thought he would with a pay site and I don’t mind driving traffic to him for free.

If I don’t mind, no one else should mind.

                  • Ex-PH2 says:

Okay, Principe – You got a bone to pick with Shipley? Go to him and bitch and moan about it. Your complaint has nothing to do with TAH, and you know it. Right now, you’re just attention-whoring because you aren’t getting ALL the GOODIES from Sr. Chief Shipley, and it’s his right to NOT hand them out.
Also, I should remind you that NO ONE is forcing YOU to pay for Shipley’s stuff. If you don’t like the way he does business, you don’t have to be his customer.
                    End of story.

                    • Prince of Tides says:

We agree on this point. Shipley is doing proprietary cases that are not available to the general public.

Whether that is good or bad or some other subset i.e. slightly weird or commendable, is in the eye of the beholder.

When I was in Mexico I had to go to the bathroom and although the bathroom was public there was a kid selling toilet paper just outside the stall. I paid to play and I could see and respect what he was doing, but it felt a little bit strangely opportunistic to me. Right or wrong, that was my initial reaction. Extending this further, I didn’t feel it was wrong to alert other bathroom-goers that they needed to have spare change on hand if they used the toilet. Due to being in the company of friends I never got slammed for pointing this out and accused of my being critical of the kid with the roll of toilet paper.

                  • Jonn Lilyea says:

By the way, as far as I know Bernath asked for a list of paid subscribers, but Shipley never provided that list. I know Bernath has demanded a list from me, but I always just blow him off.

                    • Prince of Tides says:

Respectfully, Shipley said in one of his own videos on the site that a list of subscribers was inadvertently supplied to Bernath by a member of Shipley’s staff.

It was something about Bernath made a claim that he was entitled to the list based on a court order or some other reason. Both Shipleys were away at the time and could not be conferred with.

In a later video Shipley downplayed its significance and said we all had nothing to worry about or something to that effect but it was never in my opinion adequately explained. I can point to the videos if there is a need but hopefully this is not in dispute.

Hey, stuff happens but I still wish that there had been more care taken with oversight of subscriber information.

                      Fair point?

                    • Ex-PH2 says:

Well, it’s obvious that Il Principe is complaining because he paid for something and doesn’t like his name being on a list of subscribers to that something. Well, now we’re getting down to the guts of it.
Obviously, you’re afraid that Bernath has YOUR information and is going to include YOU in one of his episodes of wasting the court’s time while he makes an ass of himself in the process. Well, keep an eye on the Maryland dockets system, which should be free to the public, and see if he has you on his “LIST”. Suing someone for being a paid subscriber to something is a frivolous claim, but Bernath’s goal is to gouge money out of you. Voice YOUR concerns to Shipley. They have nothing to do with this video or This Ain’t Hell.

          • OWB says:

Perhaps to you, Prince, but to the rest of us – we recognize that the decision of what to do with the fruits of his labor are his to make. Your opinion is quite irrelevant.

I suppose you offer whatever you do free of charge? To receive financial remuneration for what you do then apply a different standard to someone else is hypocrisy. Whether you or any of us give away the fruits of our labors is our decision to make.

            • Prince of Tides says:

Exactly, a point I’ve made several times.

The original post is a long version of look before you leap. That’s all.

              • OWB says:

So you were asking Jonn to do exactly what when you wanted to have him post stuff free for you that others pay to see?

Egads. Following your train of thought is impossible. What I get out of it is that you want free stuff but it’s OK for others to pay for their stuff, and presumably yours as well.

Kinda like talking to a brick wall.

                • nbcguy54ACTUAL says:

                  Free stuff.

Evidently another liberal in our midst….

                • Prince of Tides says:

Jonn posts are abbreviated version of the cases, along with the perpetrator’s name.

Not sure why several on here feel a person’s name and the fact that they are a fake is proprietary information characterizing that as free stuff.

                • Ex-PH2 says:

I’m not sure what your objection is to Shipley’s doing as he pleases with his own property.

                  • 2/17 Air Cav says:

And I’m not sure why he/she/it thinks this is the appropriate place to lodge complaints against Shipley or why anyone would heed anything that he/she/it has to say. Cripes. And how ’bout that Mexico shit house story? Five gets you ten that this Barbra Streisand fan stood on a long line to get Free Cheese when the Feds handed it out years ago.

                  • Ex-PH2 says:

Yes, I wondered at that tale of taco’s revenge myself. Then I realized that it’s mostly whining about spending money on something that was used for PR elsewhere.

Tough bananas. That’s business. No one is forcing him to pay.

                  • Prince of Tides says:

You both win. I was clearly outmatched by superior logic.

Since my thinly veiled attempt at getting free stuff failed the Barbra Steisand loving liberal will just have to return to its cheese and keep paying for toilet paper.

I’m glad you were here to set me straight. I have clear eyes now.

            • Ex-PH2 says:

I think what this individual Il Principe doesn’t understand is that anyone running a business sometimes does publicity for that business by doing a freebie or giveaway as a sample.

Amanda Hoaking, for example, may take one of her older books off the pay-to-read list and make it a ‘FREE’ book on Kindle, if it’s part of a series she’s been working on. Kindle has a ‘freebie’ setup on Kindle Unlimited, which lets you select a book for your bookshelf as a freebie. She gets paid when the book is read, and payment is based on the page count read, which Kindle tracks.
I do the same thing with mine. You pay the KU fee, you get the book for free. How do the authors get paid? It comes out of Kindle’s author fund, which comes from the Kindle Unlimited fee, and only for the first time read. It’s kind of like having a paperback book that you buy and read a thousand times. You only pay the purchase price once at the store’s checkout.

It’s like having a library card and reading the same book a thousand times before you take it back, except that you don’t have to deselect it if you don’t want to.

There’s nothing wrong with doing PR by offering free samples with the idea of getting new customers, or reminding current customers that you’re doing something new.

Apparently, this part of the business model escape people like Il Principe, who engages in tiresome arguments based on being annoyed that he had to pay a fee to get to see the Shipley videos, when the Shipley videos were loaned out to This Aint Hell as part of a PR campaign.

What Il Principe doesn’t understand is that we might see it here for free and appreciate the gesture, but that does not mean we’ll go running over to Shipley’s video site and pay to get more of it.

Two episodes of this guy Gmable were enough for me. He got caught in the middle of something and got hammered for it, so he asked for help straightening things out. What’s the problem? Well, TAHers get to view the entire production (if they wish to) over here, whereas only subscribers to the Shipley video section can see it over there.

That’s the long and short of it. Now I’m bored, and supper calls.

              • Ex-PH2 says:

Man, I really need to get a new keyboard. The 3-key sticks, most of the alphabet has disappeared, and other keys stick, too.

                • Prince of Tides says:

No worries. I figured it out.

Besides, you have a resident spell checker who successfully makes a running joke out of it.

                • Ex-PH2 says:

Frankly, you insipid twig, I wasn’t addressing you, no matter what you may think. But now I am. You certainly do seem to think that the entire planet revolves around you, instead of around the Sun.
All I did was make an offhand observation, which people frequently do here. For some reason, you seem to think it was addressed to Y-O-U.
                  Well, it ain’t.

But this is: FUTUE TE IPSUM, donut hole.

    • Dave Hardin says:

Offensive rhetoric like that can not be used until 9:00 AM on Friday, January 20 2017.

      Shame on you two.

  9. CWORet says:

Hurry up with the rest of the vids, please! Well, like most here, I take Don’s word for the guys creds. At least on the military. And if Don’s BS detector didn’t go off, then I respect that as well. He’s one of the best. I also get why the guy optioned out based on what he was facing in the Air Force. I had my own reasons for leaving active duty after eight years. I have some regrets, but I did well in the Reserves later on. I actually got lucky to get back in, pre 9-11 and retain rank and time in service. Anyhow, Mr. Gamble seems like a good man. I will be checking out Dave’s links tho, for his post service claims. It was a weird thing, his involvement with the abduction/release. Anyhow, now I want to go hunting with Don. It would give an old man a raging HO of epic proportions. “Hey sweetpea, just got back from hunting with Don. Let’s play Gilligan’s Island. c’mere little buddy…”

  10. 2/17 Air Cav says:

Don Shipley and his sidekick, The Hair, are aces around here. Comes now some person from who knows where to whine and bellyache about something or other regarding Shipley’s website. This person, who sounds like a woman but may be just a light-in-the-loafers guy, thinks that by dropping out of nowhere into TAH and casting aspersions on Shipley and Shipley’s website, that folks will be swayed. That ain’t happening, Miss. It just isn’t.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

Yeah, well, maybe he imagines himself having the same psycho struggles as Nick Nolte (played by Tom Wingo) about stuff that was mean in his childhood.
Oh, well, we all have our ‘issues’, don’t we?
It’s the whinier stuff that is annoying.

    • nbcguy54ACTUAL says:

At least it gave us something to talk about, akin to talking about those kernels of corn in my shit. Same importance level….

        That’s true. I love whack-a-mole.

        • Prince of Tides says:

Yes, and you did a fine job putting me in my place.

Now, I think I’ll allow myself to take the evening off, sip on a Fannybanger (with an umbrella in it of course) and ponder both my defeat as well as all the wisdom that you bestowed on me with your skillfully directed chastisement.

My spell checking alone has improved considerably in the brief time I have come to know you.

If you aren’t an attorney you should consider becoming one. You have clearly mastered the skill of debate.

          • 2/17 Air Cav says:

There is no debate. There was no debate. You are a first-rate fruitcake. Just go. Save the goodbyes.

            • Prince of Tides says:

Think Don will have you over to his place to do some goose hunting? He owes you after such a strategic defense you put on.

Just don’t try and blow on his honker. He’ll tap you on the shoulder when its time.

              • ex-OS2 says:

“Just don’t try and blow on his honker. He’ll tap you on the shoulder when its time.”

Princess, did you learn that from experience?

                • Prince of Tides says:

I’ve never called geese, just turkeys.

From what I gather to attract a wedge and get a gaggle, you need to put your entire diaphragm into it. Otherwise, it is just tootin’ a horn and getting the wood a little wet.

  11. 2/17 Air Cav says:

Hey, how much of a fan or ex-fan of Shipley’s can one be and refer to the US Navy SEALs as Seals multiple times?

  12. Ex-PH2 says:

I see that Il Principe still doesn’t get that Seals are circus animals that bite people they don’t like, and the Navy’s SEALs operate under an acronym that means SEa Air Land, based on the parameters in which they operate.
Sometimes they jump out of airplanes head first. But I think – no, I’m QUITE sure that the only balls they ever play with are their own.

    • Prince of Tides says:

Yes, and this alone should disqualify any point I was trying to make.

Your support of Don Shipley is admirable. Are you also giving financial support by subscribing to (sorry for lowercase, but that’s the URL)?

Just a suggestion but the $10 a month subscription is only the minimum. You can of course increase that to a larger amount.

Please don’t worry about your personal information being shared. Any thought along this line that I considered made me a crybaby. Thank you for spending the time to toughen me up. It’s going to be hard to give up the Fannybangers, though. I’ll start with Appletinis.

      • Ex-PH2 says:

Try vodka, straight up, Insipid. Lord God Zeus, but do you HAVE to hijack everything you see?

        • Prince of Tides says:

Your post made reference to me. I had no idea a response by me would be considered hijacking.

        • Ex-PH2 says:

OH, do stop pretending to be disingenuous about it all.

Your ego trip sticks out like a sore thumb, birdbrain.

You wanted attention. You got attention.
Your complaint is with Shipley, but somehow, you transferred it to TAH because Senior Chief blew you off? Tough bananas, turci autem auto-reflecteretur.
Despite your attempts to dump it on TAH, it’s YOUR problem because YOU subscribed to Shipley’s channel and nobody made you do that. It was your choice.

  13. Dave Hardin says:

Stop picking on Dawn Spiffly, Shawn Boatly, or the Extreme Quack Experience.

At least here the whole world can see I am an asshole…lets keep it going.

  14. 2/17 Air Cav says:

So, the veil drops. The comments made by sweet pea since 8 p.m. or so are markedly different than those it posted earlier. The shoe-shuffling, aw-shucks-but-I-don’t-mean-any harm approach has been jettisoned and we’re getting a truer pic of the little princess. Never fails.

  15. 2/17 Air Cav says:

“Not slamming the guy [Shipley]. Just pointing out an inconvenient fact.”

“Not slamming Diane or Brandi but it all felt like a bait and switch.”

    “I’m not faulting Don but….”

“I admire what Shipley does but….”

That’s from the first post. The lil prince or princess used many words and many sentences damning Shipley while saying otherwise. The entire visit here was a recruitment effort against Shipley. It was mistaken. The only horse’s ass revealed through the comments of the “Prince of Tides” is the Prince of Tides. Now, princess, it’s beddie-bye time for you. Get those footie PJs on and snuggle up to a Streisand movie.

Doubt he got any Seekrit training on how to ride Waves, dont hurt him.

        • Ex-PH2 says:

Frankly, I have no opinion on him at this point. I think he got rooked into doing something and didn’t expect any backlash from it.

POT has some good points. Just because Boatly looks like Liberace’s little brother doesn’t mean I will lay down on his day bed every time he asks.

He does good work and has been at this a long time. I spend more time worrying about those who are tying to keep a roof over their head than a gaggle of Geese.

I fuck with his boot ass, but he will always get my support in the end. Deck Apes need love too.

  17. Prince of Tides says:

Don’t get upset. Heck, I really like you guys.

PH-2 and 2/17 Air Cav – How did you two feel when Shipley’s assistant provided Bernath your personal information? What’s that you say? It didn’t affect you because you were not members. But you can tell me how I should feel? That’s magical!

That’s what I like about being in your company. Such insightful advice. Heck, you don’t have to experience anything yourself and that puts you in the best position to tell others how they should feel.

You’re really good. Let’s keep going. Tell me what I’m thinking right now.

I think I found a home. I’m learning so much about how I should be.

    • ex-OS2 says:

Pop a big ass bag of popcorn, it does a body good.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

Heads up, shitstick. Shipley’s assistant does NOT HAVE my personal information.

Got that, dimwit? You do get stupider with every comment you make.

      • Prince of Tides says:

Ex-PH2 – That was exactly the point I was making, that you don’t support Shipley with any of your money. I have, and I have for a long time. I was a subscriber. That entitles me to an opinion.

Yet, you claim you can tell me how I and others should feel about my subscriber information being provided to Bernath. Yet you have never experienced this yourself.

So, this is quite fascinating. In your world, are the millions of military retirees, active duty, and active government workers crybabies because they are concerned about safekeeping of information when China hacked and obtained personal data on them? It would stand to reason that would include several (if not many) readers of this forum.

So, in your world and according to your logic are they crybabies too?

P.S. As with Air Cav, I’m sure your scoring major points with Shipley by drawing out these conversations and having the dirty laundry aired. He probably appreciates it.

    • 2/17 Air Cav says:

Princey: e already have a one-trick pony at TAH. His name is Lars Taylor. He serves as the doormat to the front entrance. We need another for the back door so, sure, absolutely, make yourself at home. Let me be the first to say, welcome, mat.

      • Prince of Tides says:

        It’s been fun.

I’m sure that Shipley appreciates you beating the grass and having all the bugs fly up.

Now that you have that bro-love thing going on rumor has it that Shipley is launching a new areas of his site called “Ask 2/17 Air Cav Shit?”

        • 2/17 Air Cav says:

          Here Prince! Good doggie.

          • Prince of Tides says:

We’re you the guy that got butt hurt a while back and had to leave the forum?

Hope you stick with it this time.

          • Prince of Tides says:

Would you like me to point out some more things about Shipley’s website if you are considering joining?

He’ll only have you to thank for fanning the flames. Trying to bite my tongue but don’t mind sharing. Just need a little more of your prompting.

            • 2/17 Air Cav says:

Do whatever you like. Unless you type with your tongue, biting it doesn’t have much impact on your lame comments. You got a beef with Shipley and you whine and cry here. That makes good sense. Keep up the fine work, miss.

              • Prince of Tides says:

My original point is and has always been that when it comes to Shipley, I have learned to be cautious. Look before you leap is my suggestion. This directly applies to the case presented with Gamble. I am not well versed on it but will come up to speed.

You turned this all into name calling and an off-topic diversion. You took it to a place that I never intended and Shipley has you to thank for it. I said in my original post that Shipley does great work. I suspect the reason you did this is that you felt some self-appointed bodyguard role for Don Shipley and he needs defending. Ever give any thought that he may feel that you are not helping matters? If he felt the need to defend he would have said something. Maybe he hopes that you STFU so that I STFU?

If you were his spokesman, maybe you should have helped him with the data breach issue.

2/17 Air Cav: “Dear Subscribers, We have mistakenly supplied your personal subscriber information to Dan Bernath. I’d like to say that if you choose to unsubscribe you are a crybaby. If you express concern about this in any way, shape or form you are a crybaby. You need to stick with it or you will be labeled an outcast. Thank God it didn’t affect me personally but that has little to do with anything. Now, stop whining.”

BTW, why did you tuck your tail and leave TAH before?

It didn’t have anything to do with whining and crying did it?

      • Prince of Tides says:

Princey: e already have a one-trick pony at TAH.

Suggest that “e” should be “we”.

Where would we be if we didn’t look out for each other?

Don’t worry, I won’t try to make an eight post running joke out of it. Not really that funny and besides, I suggest we stay classy.

        • ex-OS2 says:

You and Lars Taylor would make a cute couple. Hang around, he usually shows up after 1300.

        • Ex-PH2 says:

          Back for more, stercore cerebrum?
          Quomodo cerebrum tuum sic facere?

Seriously, if you’re all that desperate for attention that you have to start a pissing and snorting match over nothing, there are people who will take your money and let you bitch and moan all you like about the “injustice of it all”.

I suggest you find one, since you manifest as being that desperate.

          • Prince of Tides says:

            Not desperate for attention.

You stepped on my post. It warranted a response. It’s as simple as that. Call it what you like.

          • Ex-PH2 says:

Incorrect, you dimwit. If you weren’t desperate for attention, you wouldn’t be posting comments any more and you sure as Hell is full of frozen lima beans would NOT – repeat N-O-T answer any comments anyone makes.

YOU started this. It’s YOUR reponsiblity. You can’t even handle that? Looks like you can’t handle the truth about yourself, either: you’re an attention whore. You just groove on it.

            • Prince of Tides says:

Frame it how you wish. It will help you deal with it.

Truth is you chimed into something that you had no firsthand experience with. I called you on it, you got your feathers ruffled, then resorted to repeated name calling. I wish we were playing poker, because I know what’s in your hand. Nothing.

Now you propose some silly straw man logic that if I respond to anything it means XYZ.

I propose that we come back to the topic at hand. Any thoughts on that?

            • Ex-PH2 says:

You propose what? More attention focused on you? As I said prior to this, you hijacked this to focus attention on your complaint about Don Shipley’s business. Now you’re a crashing bore.

Take your complaint to Don Shipley. It has nothing to do with this blog.

              • Prince of Tides says:

I propose that we get back to the topic at hand.

The topic as I understand it is that Don Shipley stands behind this Gamble guy 100%.

I made a point that I was reluctant to get behind this. My hesitation has a deep history. Although Don has done great work, there have been a few occasions where I regretted getting behind his efforts 100%. Hence, my post.

You and Air Cav directly attacked me and implied that I was not entitled to any hesitation. You went further and got into a weird name calling and sexual preference turn I guess to drive home your point that there should be 100% Shipley loyalty or you can expect to be run off after you are tarred and feathered. It was then that I offered specific examples. Don Shipley has you and Air Cav to thank for that.

I will do a little more reading into Gamble and form an opinion, but I am not jumping two feet into this and providing blind loyalty. Attack me all you want. My hesitation is based on my past experience. You would do well to consider this as well.

Trust, but verify. Isn’t that the mantra of the Stolen Valor community?

              • Ex-PH2 says:

                Incorrect again.

Your complaint was bluntly stated: you objected to Don Shipley’s charging people to subscribe to his videos. Your personal info may or may not have been compromised, however, as you have provided no backup for this, your claim is questionable.

You tried and failed to recruit other people on TAH to join you in complaining about Shipley’s pay-to-view business after complaining about seeing the same video for free on TAH. All this is confirmed by YOUR prior comments regarding payment vs. freebies.
Whether or not your personal info was compromised, you are obligated to take that up with Shipley. It has nothing to do with TAH or anyone who comments here.
That IS the topic at hand, and frankly, switching gears to question Gamble’s claims is not going to work, either.

Are you still translating Hungarian porn into English?

“You tried and failed to recruit other people on TAH to join you in complaining about Shipley’s pay-to-view business after complaining about seeing the same video for free on TAH”
You are absolutely correct about that Ex.
I saw where he was going and took the next exit.

                • Ex-PH2 says:

                  Yep. Predictable, too.

                • Prince of Tides says:

                  You’re completely missing the point.

I’m objecting to the fact that if there is a stolen valor community, the word needs to get out.

If the fact that someone is a fake and that information is treated as proprietary, it undermines the concept of “community”.

I don’t care if he charges or makes it only available to a few select people… the point is the word still does not get out.

So there is no “community” except when Shipley needs something. Then it is a call to arms.

                • Prince of Tides says:

PH2 – Since you are so stuck on the money —

Why do you refuse to support Don Shipley’s efforts and deny him the $10/month subscription fee?

It’s not a lot of money and would help to support “the cause”, so how come you don’t?

                • Prince of Tides says:

Since you don’t support Don Shipley with $10/month, can we all assume that you donate to the TAH site for at least that amount?

Surely you would agree that donating to TAH for at least $10/month is worthy?

  18. 6-101 AVN says:

Whew…those comments disintegrated pretty fast. That’s not the internet I know!!!

Anyways…to the matter at hand. As a follower of the Papini Case (I have basically one degree of separation from the victim), I’ve become increasingly critical for Mr. Gamble. I’ve never doubted he served honorably in the Air Force or that he went through SERE school (I’m an active duty aviator myself and as such I am PAINFULLY familiar with the Fort Rucker SERE course). My concern lies with the assertions Mr. Gamble makes that he trained Special Forces, Delta Force and Army Aviators (hey that’s me!!!) in resistance training, and that he led “clandestine operations” against drug cartels and organized crime. In my experience a three year stint as an enlisted boom operator hardly qualifies someone for this type of contract work. I’d like Mr. Shipley to address this aspect of Mr. Gambles uh “resume”
