Guest post: On line baby shower for Mr. & Mrs. TSO

| April 20, 2017

From Parachutecutie; Parachutecutie is having an on line baby shower for Mr. & Mrs. TSO in anticipation of the arrival of their twin boys.

We all know that Mark has recently been posting about back issues. The reality is he has no back issues. Mark is taking advantage of this ruse and the time off to research deep cost cutting options around the house. I have first hand knowledge that he has been experimenting with the following:

He’s been filling disposable diapers with various quantities of different liquids and solids then hanging them in the back yard to dry so that he can fill them again to test the ability to reuse them. I sure hope he’s spraying them with a disinfectant as they hang to dry.

Cades Cove

He’s been experimenting with Ramen noodles for two reasons. 1) He has been picking out all of the “vegetables” to determine the ratio of “nutritious” vegetables to noodles and 2) to determine how many packages he could eat before having to take Exlax to unbind him (we all know about his problem with that, too).

He’s been running a cost analysis of Ramen + exlax against their current grocery receipts.

He’s built this contraption in his back yard and rented a cow to determine, once the twins are off of formula, if one cow can provide enough milk for all the kiddos.

He’s even put Caroline through a class on how to utilize EVERY SINGLE square centimeter of a baby wipe. *sigh*

These are just a few of the “research” projects Mark is currently involved in.

How can we help? Go to one of the links below and lets help stock them up on diapers, wipes and other items the twins will need. Hopefully this will also allow Mark to get back to work and write some articles for The American Legion.

Any way a searchable registry could be set up so that I don’t buy them junk they don’t need?

The registries on both sites require a first AND last name to search.

    • Parachutecutie says:

The links were not originally working but are now thanks to the magnificent Jonn Lilyea. The links show items they would like to have per their wishes

    • 2/17 Air Cav says:

You don’t want a registry if TSO is involved in drafting it. The kids can’t use video games, beer steins, poker chips, stogies, cologne, and girly magazines.

      • Parachutecutie says:

Ha. True but Caro helped out with the registries

      • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

“The kids can’t use video games, beer steins, poker chips, stogies, cologne, and girly magazines.”

        Cigars, either?

  2. Parachutecutie says:

The links to Target and buybuyBaby aren’t working. Stand by for a fix on that

  3. 2/17 Air Cav says:

Help! The site shows avaialbility of the items for pick-up where I live, which is nowhere near TSO. Need instructions or advice.

    • Parachutecutie says:

Which site? I tested bith and they worked. If it’s the Target site you may have to scroll way down. Let me know if you are still having problems

      • 2/17 Air Cav says:

It is Target. It shows their registry. It also shows availability of the items in my area. It is not a website problem. It is a my problem, user error, idiot shopper. So, after an item is selected, is it all self explanatory? I suck at this stuff.

  4. Ex-PH2 says:

    That’s no cow. It’s a goat.

    • CWORet says:

I was going to comment on that. Blech. We had goats on the farm. Did not like the milk or the meat but my mom seemed a lot bigger back then that she doesn’t now…

  5. Hack Stone says:

Will The Daniel Bernath Foundation making another endowment to this event like he did the last time TSO had a child? And does Babies R Us sell hot dog costumes in infant sizes?

    • sj says:

Ole DAB is saving his $ because he has to load up on cigs etc for his year or two in the slammer.

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

I remember hearing that the DAB Foundation DID buy him a new Jeep and a cheesy hot dog costume, maybe he could get a nice new minivan next or given the fuel mileage from full size ones these days he could score one of those instead? Full size vans make for much more comfortable family road trips!

  6. Retired Master says:

How do I arrange for TSO to pick up items at his store, so I don’t have to ship them

    • Just An Old Dog says:

The Target has a gift registry set up for them.

    • 2/17 Air Cav says:

That’s my problem. Please let me know if you figure it out. I need plain English, language and moron can understand. And write slowly, please.

      • Parachutecutie says:

I’m pretty sure that if you just “put it in your cart” and check out the vendor (Target or buybuyBaby) will ship the item to them direct.

        • 2/17 Air Cav says:

Okay. Thank you. I actually do shop online from time to time but this ain’t that. Thanks again.

    • Caroline says:

I tried to see if I could add in store pickup to the registry but it won’t allow me to make that selection.

  7. Sapper3307 says:

    They have your eyes!

  8. chad says:

Simple solution here. Remove the cow-goat form milking platform and install children….

  9. Just An Old Dog says:

This is a great way to repay Mark for being one of the faces that Bernath constantly went after in his bullshit suits.
Even though he made cock-breath fork over some geeters, its never stopped.
From what he has let on, and others as well, it is so NOT FUN having to deal with that scum bag.
For those of us whose anonimity is protected by this blog it’s a chance to show our appreciation.
Mark, is you read this name the Monkey “Uncle Doodles”

    • sj says:

^^^Word^^^. I’ve done it. There’s stuff there at all price ranges so all budgets can participate.

  10. Vexatious Defendant says:

I am the opposite, I say that my back hurts, but I have sneaky suspicion I may be pregnant.

By the way, BillO’ has a bunch of stuff on sale.

  11. OldSoldier54 says:

    Mission accomplished.

Bless you for doing this, Leta!

HH6 loves her some munchkins, so thanks for giving me an opportunity to score some points!

    You’re a PEACH!! 😛

    • Parachutecutie says:

Thank you. It just seemed to be a good thing to do. And THANK YOU for your contribution.

  12. Sgt Fon says:

twin boys and no red ryder bb guns on the registry? no pocket knives either! every toddler should have a small swiss army knife in my opinion….

we will see what the government lets me afford this month… Congrats to both Mom and Dad!

  13. 2/17 Air Cav says:

I think that the pics of the babies would violate the new Navy reg. Somebody is in serious trouble.

  14. Sparks says:

Way to go TSO! They even look like they are already in beer cans!

  15. Rich says:

I’m in launched diapers his way.

  16. Haywire Angel says:

Done! Congrats to TSO and the Mrs. on their new little bundles of joy on the way!!

  17. RM3(SS) says:

Done! What a great way to support a couple of awesome folks.
I am disappointed however that someone already bought them the “snotsucker” on buybaby. I wanted to send that to them in honor of our own booger eating moron DAB.

  18. Green Thumb says:

  19. Mrs TSO says:

Thank You so much for blessing us with gifts, we are truely grateful for all of you and your support!
