  1. It’s not like this was unexpected. I wish Spector was in his office when it was Freeped by Melanie Morgan, Cat Moy, Jim Robinson, Kristinn and the rest of the Freepers, when they visited.

Why doesn’t Snowe, Collins and Specter just join the Democrat Party as that’s who they basically are.

  2. Claymore says:

…gotta be honest here, Snowe, Collins and Specter could just as easily be joined by McCain, Graham and a few other Jello spined “Republicans”. Big tent, donchaknow.

  3. Southern Democrat says:

    Hooray for democracy!

In your face assholes!! We won!!!

  4. defendUSA says:

    Southern Dem…
Sore winners suck. So do sore losers. i’ll still wake up grateful tomorrow for all that is still intact in this Country and I will be sure to say a prayer for your sorry ass. And i promise not to say I told you so when inflation gets higher than when Carter was in office. Pinky swear.
What goes around, comes around. And you can’t blame anyone but the COW, or Oreo boy if you prefer.

  5. Sporkmaster says:

I would not be cheering just yet, this problem is far from being solved.

  6. Claymore says:

Anyone else get the impression that SD is really just someone pretending to be this damn ignorant?

  7. Adirondack Patriot says:

    Southern Democrat,

You’ll never really win, because in the end, you’re still a Democrat, and the measure of your dreams are limited by government means!

    Have a happy welfare day!

  8. Adirondack Patriot says:

    We won?

U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner rolls out the renamed “Financial Stability Plan” and the Dow Jones drops almost 400 points to close under 8000?

    That’s financial stability?

That’s change we can believe in?

  9. defendUSA says:

    Claymore-
Over on B5 we had a poster that went by Southern Man, Southern something.

I’m thinking maybe it’s him with a new screen name. (Southern Dem = head very far up the COW’s ass!!)

  10. airborne injun says:

S0uthern Dildocrate is pretty damn smart ya’ll….If he continues to act that stupid, the guvment would either have to shoot his ass or give him a disability check for being so damn incompatant…so the fucker gets to suck off the taxpayers tit for the rest of it’s pathetic, miserable life!!!

RC Pirate Forums: Look what the Nanny State types snuck into the Porkulus Bill

  12. Southern Dhimmicrat- If you think this spendulus bill defines democracy, I am sure as hell thankful that I don’tlive in your world. Aren’t you from Berkeley? Methinks you may be interested in something to show that you hail from there. Try something from here: http://www.cafepress.com/frankopinions/4720019,
My view of the direction of travel since 1/20/09? God Save America….We are so screwed. People like Southern Dhimmicrat say: “We Won”? Say what? Dumbass; your party won election seats. But, by and large Americans Lost. And I consider myself a loud, proud American, who lives in a country that isn’t broken, not by any common sense description of our condition. And damned sure not in need of a Trillion dollar nanny state situation. My momma taught me to wipe my own ass, and knowing how, I don’t think that anyone else, especially the gummint, would do it in a fashion that I would approve of.

  13. Even in the toughest of times during the Great Depression, people could find work and subsist. Our present day economic situation is nothing close to what was experienced during the Depression. For example, during the worst years of the Depression, unemployment rates were reported as 24.9%. The present day unemployment rate rose from 7.2 to 7.6 percent in January 2009. For sure, I’d rather that unemployment rate below 5 percent, but our present day numbers are no where near what was experienced during the Depression.

We can’t buy into the “One’s” fear mongering!

  14. Ray says:

I sent a quick note of thanks to both my Senators for voting against this pig. It’s going to be a long 2 years until we take back the Congress.

  15. olga says:

I could not make it with the Freepers – a bill-paying job interfered, as it often does, with the best laid plans… On the other hand, if I went, I might have expressed myself a little bit too forceful… Both my Dem Senators voted yes but that was expected…

Hooray for democracy! In your face assholes!!We won!!!

We will see if you think you’re on the “winning side” in about 6 mos to a year! As far as name calling goes, it looks like we have the “pot calling the kettle black”.

  17. Claymore says:

I think what sort of strikes me so funny is this whole “it’s our TURN” concept I keep hearing from leftards…as if leadership is something you pass around like a hooker at the Kennedy compound…everyone gets a shot, whether they deserve it or not. The whole thing is juvenile, but that sort of encapsulates their world view, doesn’t it. I mean short of a throwing a hissy-fit, they’ve done everything they can to make sure that if they don’t get their way, they pout, they cajole, they call names, they try to shout down and eventually they out-right lie. Is this what we have to look forward to for the next 4 years? Governance from a bunch of dipshits who act like drama queens in the 5th grade? Yeah, you guys won, but winning is easy…now you have to actually do something. Good luck with that.
