Connecticut’s Governor Dannel Malloy: NRA is a ‘terrorist organization’

| March 7, 2018 | 81 Comments

The Washington Examiner reports that Connecticut’s Governor Dannel Malloy told FOX61 that the National Rifle Association is a terrorist organization.

“They act quite frankly in some cases as a terrorist organization,” said Malloy. “You want to make safer guns? We will boycott your company. That’s who they are. That’s what they do.”

Malloy said the NRA is a different organization than what it used to be.

I don’t know what he means by making safer guns, but I have to think that the governor means “smart guns” which is an inexact science these days. I don’t expect him to know that, because the governor uses words he doesn’t understand – like “terrorist organization”. I don’t remember any reports of the NRA using car bombs to get their point across. None of the recent shooters were NRA members. No enemies of the NRA are being burned alive in cages. These are things that terrorist organizations do.

The NRA, however, merely represents five million members in the halls of Congress.

Jennifer Baker from the NRA, released the following statement in regards to Malloy’s terrorist remarks:

“ The NRA is comprised of over five million law-abiding citizens many of whom are teachers, doctors, policeman, farmers , moms and dads residing in Connecticut. So let’s be clear Governor Malloy just called tens of thousands of his constituents terrorists.

He’s used to that, though. His recent gun regulations made thousands of his constituents criminals overnight.

  1. Graybeard says:

From what I gather, Governor Malloy’s Connecticut is in the typical blue-state morass of regulations, financial difficulties, and governmental failures – so of course, like Castro and Maduro, he has to distract the peons with attacks on The Real Evil People – the average American.

  2. David says:

People like him are the reason I moved from the PRoM (Maryland) back to Texas as soon as I possibly could. East Coast liberals and I do not play well together.

  3. Jeff LPH 3, 63-66 says:

You just disgraced Adam 12’s officer Malloy’s name with your asshole statement. ZYKLON B gas is Great for calming hysterical outbursts I heard tell.

  4. NHSparky says:

Feel free to leave your flatlander money here in NH, but go the fuck home when you’re done.

    • 2/17 Air Cav says:

CT is the richest state in the nations and is over 20 billion in debt. The money has been leaving that state for several years now. That’s bad news for CT and bad news for other states b/c those lefties have to go somewhere, and they are sure as hell not going to NY, CA, MD, NJ or any other tax hungry state. The rich left likes you and me to pay for their altruism. They want credit just for coming up with the ideas, but they sure as hell don’t want to pay for them.

    • SSG Kane says:

I love the NH winters, it keeps the rifraf out. And by rifraf I mean east coast elites who like to ski the snow but have no idea how to actaukky live with it.

    • 26Limabeans says:

I occasionally see CT plates around here.
Mostly hunting season. They (the plates)stick out like a sore thumb but the blaze orange clown suits (hat, shirt, pants, gloves, socks etc. light up the area for some good entertainment. You see them in the local stores, but not in the woods.

      • jonp says:

I see them in the woods in VT. They are the guys dressed in brand new Cabelas with brand new 300 Weatherbys over their shoulder and using Leica Binocs to glass the powerline for Whitetails. I’m the guy in wool pants, a checked red plaid wool jacket and a ’94 30-30. I’m also the guy with the deer cause I went into the swamp after him.

  5. RM3(SS) says:

There’s no common ground, no reasoning with the gun ban folks. They operate on emotion and feel good ideas. I’ve given up trying to debate with any of them including relatives.
“Yeah, well, that’s just, like, your opinion, man”

  6. 2/17 Air Cav says:

The public comments calling the NRA a terrorist organization are just dripping right now but they’ll soon be gushing. Expect a publication such as the WaPo or NYT to do some deep-thinker piece examining the NRA as a terrorist organization. Expect the Pelosis and other pull-string pols to drop terrorism and NRA in the same sentence. This is the way the Left rolls.

  7. IDC SARC says:

terrorists…yeah…and racists, uneducated …blah blah blah yadda yadda lies lies lies.

    Fukk off

  8. Atkron says:

Well, I have lived long enough to see an organization that teaches gun safety, and sticks up for the Constitution of the USA labeled a terrorist organization by an elected politician.

That says a lot about the condition of our Republic.

  9. AW1Ed says:

Nothing says “let’s have an honest and logical discussion” like accusing millions of innocent people of being terrorists because you disagree with them on 2A.

  10. Mason says:

The NRA has never killed anyone. Planned Parenthood on the other hand…And as much as I hate them, I’d never call them terrorists.

Remember when people were fired up when the right started calling Antifa and BLM terrorist organizations? The MSM vilified them despite all the evidence that they utilize and endorse acts of violence for political gains. You know, actual terrorism.

  11. The Other Whitey says:

    Hey, Governor Malloy!

I’m a firefighter-EMT who has responded to emergencies and public service/assistance calls for 17 years, with the bad knees, reduced lung capacity, diminished hearing in my left ear, sleeping disorders, post-traumatic stress, and a stack of HAZMAT communicable-disease exposure reports (that will come in handy when I inevitably get diagnosed with cancer) to show for it. I’m a churchgoing Roman Catholic born to a German-Irish family who volunteers in my parish and tithes regularly. I’m a father of three who is currently in the process of setting up my oldest daughter’s room just the way she wants it (she likes pink and yellow). I also fill the substitute-dad role for the three children of one of my cousins, whose drunk, violent whiskey-tango shitbag of an ex-husband is long gone and better stay that way. I help my wife and her sisters to financially support my in-laws, who came to this country from Cambodia as refugees from a brutal and bloodthirsty communist regime.

I am an NRA member. Would you, Governor Malloy, care to call me a terrorist to my face, in front of my wife and children? I’m sure that footage will look great! Especially when we compare resumes, as I’m sure it’s been quite a while since you sacrificed anything for the good of others

    • Jon The Mechanic says:

Danny is not man enough to carry your shoestrings. The fact that you voluntarily run into burning buildings make me ask if I am man enough to carry your boots.

I would say that he and his ilk deserve nothing but pity from us, but that would require that I actually give a rat’s ass about him.

      • The Other Whitey says:

I have honestly never run into a burning building. I’ve crawled into a fair amount of them, but I’ve never *run* into one.

Also never been shot at, never been to Iraq or Afghanistan, nor spent months in the middle of the ocean. Actually, I kinda feel like a bit of a self-aggrandizing douche at this point, but I’m also certain that I’ve done lots more for my fellow man than this limp-dick Malloy ever has.

    • MCPO NYC USN Ret. says:

    • Fyrfighter says:

TOW, somehow i get the feeling that if he did (not that he would ever have the balls to do so), you’d just be a spectator, as from your descriptions of your wife and her sisters, I think they’d have him drawn and quartered, before you could even get out of your chair…

  12. Wilted Willy says:

I am so sick of listening to all of these panty waste liberals calling us names! I wish any of them had the balls to call me them to my face as well. How much time did the dear governor spend in the military? How much time has he devoted in doing anything in his state to benefit anyone other than himself? I get so sick of seeing all of these yankees move down south and bitch about how they did things up north. They leave their shithole cities move down here, then start trying to turn our beautiful cities into the same kind of shithole that they left? Why the fuck didn’t they stay where they were. We don’t care how you did it up north! If they want to bitch about things down here, then I-95 still goes both ways the last time I checked, so get the fuck back in your cars and go back to the shitholes you left before you try and turn my state into one of your liberal panty waste dog shit eating liberal shitholes! In other words, get the fuck out of here and head back north where you belong! Eat Shit and DIE!!!

    • UpNorth says:

Tell us how you really feel about those northern liberals, Willy. 🙂
What you say is true, but it’s not just an UpNorth to down south thing. I moved out of Michigan’s 2nd largest city to escape the same shit, only to find out that the liberals that can’t afford to live in the city are moving here, too. And trying to fuck up a solidly conservative area with their fucked-up ideas on how things are really supposed to be done.

  13. NHSparky says:

Ya know, somewhere under a golf course in Florida, a shitbag disbarred lawyer is contemplating a lawsuit.

But seriously, Malloy knows he won’t pay a personal or political price. He’s gone in 2019, so he can throw bombs without recourse.

However, the first time a flatlander bitches about “gun laws”, etc, anytime I’m home gets a one-way ride back.

  14. Bill M says:

Do I detect a pattern here. “The NRA is a terrorist organization.” Where have I heard that before? Billboard in Texas (or was it Georgia)? Rosie O’Donnell. Governor of Conn. Seems to me there’s a new meme being tried out by the gun grabbers and the media (but I repeat myself). I suspect this will not end well for the gun grabbers.

  15. Devtun says:

How to wreck a once politically moderate, business friendly, and relatively low tax State. Heck, it went for Republicans in Presidential elections from ’72 to ’88.

Isn’t it full of affluent New Yawk City liberals/proggies who live there and commute to New Yawk on the train, because they aren’t quite rich enough to live in the City or on Long Island?

      • AW1Ed says:

Oh, you mean “carpet baggers.” Like Arkansas native Das Hildebeast becoming a New York Senator.

        • rgr769 says:

She really wasn’t an Arkansan, She is originally from Shotcago aka Chiraq. That’s where she met Commie Saul Alinsky. She only went to Arkansas because of her satanic pact with Billy Jeff. I was just questioning whether Connecticut was now a bedroom community for many affluent New Yawkers. But Cankles Clintoon is a true carpet bagger.

          • AW1Ed says:

Thanks, did not know and am not surprised.

          • OWB says:

She was a multiple offender carpet bagger! Yes, she was from a near north suburb of Chicago, raised in comfort, met Bubba while they were at Georgetown.

It appears she was fairly normal until the Alinskyites infected her. Although, I’m not certain she saw it as anything other than a means to an end. Not that it makes much difference.

Sop now I see why our kids have this crap on their minds, it’s rammed down their throats…
It took all I could do not to pull over and smack the little fuck in the throat…
I gave him 1 star and complained that he had a lousy attitude and wanted me to drive him for free…
He won’t ever ride with me again.

  18. lily says:

Connecticut was one of the original 13 colonies. Why would anyone accuse them of being against teh constitution or “anti-American”?

You notice the Russian troll bots don’t attack Connecticut as much as California. Why do you think that? Because Connecticut doesn’t have enough delegates to overturn a Presidential election the way California does. So the Russians don’t like California because they wanted Trump. The Russians want more mass shooting in America and other forms of chaos. They especially want political division. That’s why they wanted Trump.

Having a right to an AR15 isn’t in the constitution. If it was the ban on them wouldn’t have happened under Bill Clinton. If I were you I’d prepare to lose my AR15 and any AKs.

    • Hondo says:

You are aware that private ownership of cannons was legal during Colonial days, as well as when the Bill of Rights was adopted – right?

Of course you are. You’re simply being a troll.

    • 26Limabeans says:

“I’d prepare to lose my AR15 and any AKs”

Always have been. Always will be.

    • The Other Whitey says:

We get it, Lily. You would roll over and acquiesce to fascism, and would happily sell out your neighbors to the brownshirts in the hope that you would be useful enough to kill last. May your chains rest lightly and History forget ye were ever our countryman.

    • Deckie says:

      Wow lily… dumb.

      • 2/17 Air Cav says:

Yeah, I wrote a reply to her idiocy early this a.m. and then deleted it while muttering, “What’s the use? Morons have to moron. They can’t do otherwise.”

You all need to stop feeding this proggy little alleged college-boi troll. He/xhe is a total phony. Likely never served; and he/she/xhe is probably getting paid to do this by some Soros funded operation. He/xhe claims to go to UCSB as a student, but is here posting shit imagined in its heavily proglodyte indoctrinated little brain in the middle of a school day and at around 3:00 am PST. If it is even enrolled, it doesn’t go to class; just like our former “Beetlejuice” commie commenter. Time for the banhammer.

    • Graybeard says:

lily – come and take it, you fascist pig, if you think you can. The 2nd Amendment was designed for We The People to protect ourselves against tyrants.

      μολὼν λαβέ, τύραννος

Demands to disarm did not work for Persia in 480 BC, did not work for the British in 1778, and did not work for the Mexicans in 1835.

We are free men and women, citizens of the United States of American – not subjects to tyrants like you seem to lust after.

    • JACK SHIT says:

      You don’t know me, lily.

  19. The Old Maj says:

So, ok, according to the Guv’ner; boycotts as an action make an organization a “terrorist organization”.

This means that “ThinkProgress” and the Center for American Progress is terrorist organization for their organized boycott of the NRA. Since George Soros is behind those organization with millions of dollars ipso facto, George Soros is a terrorist. George Soros is also one of Malloy’s biggest donors. Therefore Malloy is also a terrorist through guilt by association.

There can be no other answer.

  20. ALVO says:

NOBODY I know here in CT likes Douchebag Danny. I still have NO CLUE as to how he was re-elected…other than massive voter fraud. He is an absolute tool and is so put of touch with reality it’s a wonder he hasn’t had a Jimmy Hoffa type of cement “accident”. Fuack Heem and anything he has to spew.

    • Deckie says:

I’m in CT… his name and “Douchebag” are interchangeable. I hear that he is planning to move to South Carolina when his term is up (you know, when he’s through fucking up this state.)

      • Roh-Dog says:

Dannyboy is really trying to screw Connecticut up, at this point it seems 100% intentional.
State of the State was wasted talking about “fairness” in policy and spending…
What money does he think we have?
        Screw him.
        Screw the legislators.
        Screw the state workers union.
The only good thing about CT at this point, the roads carry outbound traffic too.
Don’t be the last one here when the music stops.

    • OWB says:

Soros? With that kind of $$ behind him does it matter if any of the residents like him?

    • The Other Whitey says:

Kinda like the current Sacramento regime. You could spend a lot of time in California without finding anyone who voted for Moonbeam.

  21. USMC Steve says:

Folks, there is a bright side to this. Things like this, and that kid Hogg, have basically acted as a recruiting tool for the NRA. Thousanda have signed up over the last month or so, and some don’t even own guns, they are just honked off by the level of stupid in the left and its gun restriction attempts.

  22. IDC SARC says:

  23. Atkron says:
