Peter Toth sentenced

| March 21, 2018 | 39 Comments

According to our partners at Stolen Valour-Canada, Peter Toth who was pretending to be a US Marine in a classroom last year, was in a Canadian courtroom today and convicted of violating two (of three) counts of section 419 of the Criminal Code of Canada, “Unlawful use of military uniforms or certificates”. He was awarded 18 months supervised probation and 200 hours of community service.

The bogus uniforms insignia, medals and documents were seized by the Crown for destruction.

Folks in the courtroom claim that Toth told the judge that he suffered from PTSD because of the heat and light that he got from Stolen Valour – Canada about his fuckery.

Another successful cross-border operation with our allies.

    Take note, U.S. Prosecutors.

Receiving an “atta boy” is for personal gain. Start prosecuting.

  2. AW1Ed says:

I don’t suppose The Crown could destroy the uniforms, insignia, medals, and documents while Toth is actually in them?

    No?

    Pity.

  3. Atkron says:

PTSD it’s no wonder so many people that really suffer from it hide the fact that they really do. It is people like this and defense lawyers that have watered it down so much that it has become a joke.

Judge should have made this dick go work in the Canadian Equivalent to a VA Hospital.

  4. Mason says:

PTSD by definition REQUIRES experiencing or witnessing a life-threatening event. One cannot get PTSD from getting too much attention.

So in addition to his stolen valor claims he’s doubling down on the stoopid and committing stolen PTSD.

  5. Ex-PH2 says:

Why does he look like a 1958 Saturday Evening Post cartoon of a Scout troop leader??

  6. 2/17 Air Cav says:

“The bogus uniforms insignia, medals and documents were seized by the Crown for destruction.” I like to think that he walked out of court wearing only socks, thong undies, and that spiffy ascot. What I don’t like is the image of that.

    Brian Cox from Super Troopers!

  8. Graybeard says:

He reminds me of a toad.

He needs to be a toad in the road.

  9. NHSparky says:

He reminds me of the words of Yogi Bear:

“Oh yeah? Well FUCK Ranger Smith!”

  10. A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Hey Peter Toth, TAKE OFF, HOSER!!!

  11. FuzeVT says:

So that fat fart is 59. That means that when OIF kicked off he was 44. At first I was wondering about who the hell would believe that someone over 40 would be a scout sniper in a conflict zone. Then it did occur to me that SO MANY people have no idea about what goes on in the military and that they probably would believe shit like that.

But then again. . . Fakers have to know that they will run into REAL military people eventually (like all the guys pictured in the CBS article mikeninercharlie linked to). They WOULD HAVE TO KNOW that there just aren’t such things as 40+ year old scout snipers in real life. How does this shit not get called out as soon as a guy like this open his mouth?

    Boggles the mind.

  12. Green Thumb says:

Dude looks like one of those creepy scout masters….
