Syrian state TV blamed Israel, and said it was helping the rebels it calls terrorists.

An Israeli source said Sunday’s targets included Iranian-made missiles bound for Hezbollah.

The rebel spokesman in Damascus said the rebels’ “spirits were lifted” by the pre-dawn raid, and that they resumed “intense attacks” on the regime in the capital on Sunday morning.

While there is no evidence that Israel is coordinating with the Syrian opposition, both are worried about what could happen as the civil war spins further out of control.

Israel specifically does not want Syria to hand over weapons, chemical or conventional, to Hezbollah.

Israel is doing what we should have been doing all along. Enough with endless negotiations that only aid the Mullahs in Iran and the terrorist in Syria and Hezbollah

The Israelis are taking the confrontational approach, as they should.

I’m just waiting to see how the current administration turns our part into a completely screwed-up mess, IF they do anything at all.

Pre-emptive strike against weapons, not personnel.
    Good on Israel.

The first explosion in that video is so big, it looks distinctly like a massive target of munitions of some kind.

Drudge has an article on how fast Obama and his aides are back-pedalling on re-election campaign promises of American intervention in Syria.

obamaman advisor: “Go ahead and use that Red Line point, boss. It’s perfect for a sound bite, makes you sound strong and resolute and, best of all, our people are pretty sure that either chemical weapons weren’t used or, if they were, we can play it like Benghazi. Besides, the Israelis will do the dirty work. We’re safe.”

Good on them. They’re taking steps to ensure their safety and survival. They’re not sitting around waiting for us to step in.

To give the devil his due; Obama may have accidentally done the right thing by not doing the wrong one. Were I in his position, I’d be communicating with Netanyahu more often, and damn sure with more respect, but mostly doing nothing is doing the right thing. Call Netanyahu, see if they need any supplies, maybe some drones. Find out if they need some non-personnel support and let them handle their business.
