Brandon Freidman lectures on non-partisan VSOs

Brandon Freidman, pictured above, former VoteVets officer, former Veterans’ Affairs official has decided that he wants to defend Ric Shinseki from the countless attacks from VSOs by questioning their politics. I know, ironic isn’t it?

Beeker Tweet

Somehow, an American Legion post hosting a Concerned Veterans for America event touting patriotism and “defending freedom” is partisan. You know, this coming from the guy who started a blog war with us because we reported that newly-minted President Obama didn’t attend the Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball back in 2008.

I wonder how “defending freedom” and patriotism is partisan, how those two concepts are political. But, Beeker…er, Freidman, says that VSOs should be non-partisan, you know speaking as a former officer of the most partisan organization in the country, VoteVets. VoteVets – those guys who think that green fuel is more important than the way veterans are treated by their country.

And, oh, yeah, Brandon, if you want to play that BS, I know stuff and you know I know stuff. Remember how that blog war ended?

He has inspired me to sing a Hymn in his honor…

If one party wasn’t constantly crapping all over the militay, our families, and our vets it would be a little easier to appear non-partisan. I seem remember the VSOs fighting the good fight and calling the GOP and Bush out when they were in wrong. But then again people like thisnever let the facts get in the way of a good witch hunt.

So he is saying that Democrats are not patriotic or willing to defend freedom? Interesting.

    • Old Trooper says:

No; what he’s saying is that it’s only patriotic when democrats do it. Just like it’s only patriotic when democrats dissent against the President (Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Nancy Pelosi said that dissension was patriotic when Bush was President).

      • OWB says:

Ah, yes, it is quite clear now. Dissent is patriotic for Dems, but racist for anyone else.

Speaking of Patriotic things. We’re at a county speech contest for my son. (I’m paying attention!) But they opened the event with having all Veterans stand and state their service followed by the Pledge. They received a standing O! Never seen it done before, but hope it happens very often for our Heroes!

Freedom? Of course, that’s partisan. Left/liberal progressives want no part of it.

  6. Roger in Republic says:

Perhaps Mr. Freidman can defend Gen. Shinseki at his trial. Isn’t terminal mismanagement a federal crime. I mean, he has taken money for years without doing a lick of meaningful work. He reminds me of a joke from the late fifties. A new Army missile. It’s called the DAC. It just sits on its tail and you can’t fire it!

    I know who this is.

Don’t think it can get any more hypocritical than Friedman’s tweets. Interesting to see how the left views VA’s abject failure: https://twitter.com/BFriedmanDC

One tweet after another sticking up for incompetency. SMH.

Wow, this asshole is even dragging innocent muppets down with him. What did Beeker ever do to deserve this?
