Michael “Chico” Hays; still a phony

| January 31, 2015

Michael Hays Desert Storm vet

We wrote about Michael Hays, of Seattle, Washington back in April last year, but Scotty says that it’s had no effect on his phony ass. He still claims that he’s a special forces-trained Marine, or a Marine in Special Forces, or something. He has a Special Forces crest tattooed in his left arm;

Michael Conrad Hays tattoo

He also has Purple Heart plates on his vehicle;

Michael Hays PH Plate

He served in the Marines for four years, but he was a mechanic, not a Recon Marine and he was discharged as an E-3 – not as an E-7 Gunnery Sergeant like he claims. Notice that he has not even one minute aboard a ship or overseas.

Mochael Hays FOIA

TSO says that we should slam him because he’s also a Seahawks fan – whatever that is.

  1. SJ says:

Hey, he has a NDSM and not everyone gets those.

Oh, and he has a leather vest. That will reignite the discussion from yesterday.

    • TankBoy says:

Once again, the military motorcycle club vest. And once again, why, another force recon/seal/green beret/delta/ranger/cia special operator. Go figure. No point in another argument. It is what it is. Buy this guy a Harley, and tell him to go represent. Fuck it.

      • streetsweeper says:

Yea…..there are some M/C clubs that just might deal with him in a different light?

        • TankBoy says:

Maybe I’m cynical. This seems to be the place to go for posers. Day, after day, after day. Like I said on another post. We’d have to have a military the size of the red army to accommodate all of the supposed secret squirrel ninja types running around in leather. I doubt you can go to bike week in Daytona and spit without pissing off three Rangers, two Green Berets, 7 Seals at Monkress’s table, and 4 or 5 Force Recon Marines.

  2. Big Steve says:

These dudes that actually get their fakery tattooed on them are just more than I can endure.

I saw an older clown (60 or so) at the VA with numerous tattoos, one of which said “2nd Marine Division Special Forces,” of which I am quite certain there is no such thing. I talked to him a bit and he just wasn’t all there. Said he had been in SF and USMC. Me and another guy (Nam era Marine) weren’t buying any of it.

    • rgr1480 says:

That back tattoo looks more like GEICO and not CHICO, right?

      • Big Steve says:

Hey, you’re right about that !!

Geico here could probably kick my ass, but at least I’m straight, and don’t fake my military record.
        Big Steve 2, Geico 0

  3. Flagwaver says:

I think Washington is becoming the New Jersey of the Left Coast.

  4. rb325th says:

Re Code of 4… usually not a good sign to begin with. No PH on that DD-214, so he either forged a copy with a PH on it or is the surviving spouse or “partner” of a deceased PH recipient. Only way he could rate one under Washington State Law.

  5. CLAW131 says:

Now I’m not the most expert guy when it comes to reviewing Marine DD214’s, but I found this one to be a little strange.

Four years active duty. Yes, it did take him three years to finally be promoted to E-3. Has a Reserve Obligation remaining of four years to meet the eight year universal training obligation.

Everything seems fine so far. However, at the bottom of the DD214 where the character of service is listed(Honorable), all of a sudden he gets shackled with a RE-4 re-up code. WTF!! I always thought that any type of a RE-4 code barred you from ever reentering any of the services for the rest of your life. I wonder what happened? Or is it a typo?

Perhaps some of you Marines out there can offer an answer as to why he would receive such a reenlistment code.

    • Hondo says:

Claw: the DOR may be his second time making LCpl. Note the NAM, but lack of a GCM and the annotation “Good Conduct Medal commences 920403”.

I’m thinking the youngster started out good but stepped on his crank wearing golf shoes in early 1992, losing a stripe or two in the process. If bad enough, that might explain the RE-4 reentry code.

    • HMCS(FMF) ret says:

Claw – he may have been a problem child (spent a little too much time with the “Old Man” at Office Hours ). Or he may have been asked to go from his MOS into another as part of a reenlistment and he turned them down.

He was stations at MCAGCC Twentynine Palms about the same time frame that I was during my first tour their, with the AGSE (Aviation Ground Support Element, I think) – now MWSS 374. They has all sorts of losers there at the time and from what I remember there were problems with retention in that unit (they are out in the middle of the desert!).

    • USMCE8Ret says:

Most of us are familiar with the RE4 reenlistment code as attaching itself to shitbaggery – re: characterization of service = OTH, BCD, etc.

In this sense, he would require a HQMC approved waiver to reenlist if he decided he wanted to reenlist. Chances he wouldn’t get it because of his in-service conduct.

    • CLAW131 says:

Thanks to all for commenting on the possible reasons for the RE-4.

I did not know that RE-4 could be connected to a physical disability reason for discharge.

Hondo, you’re right about the possibility of demotion for his date of rank. Just had not had enough coffee yet when I made my comment.

I think maybe he was a “problem child” or maybe one of those that has the phrase “Bless his heart” connected to him whenever his name is brought up.

Again, thanks for the comments and clarifications.

  6. Cacti35 says:

As a Seahawk fan since they were formed in 1976, I take offense to this scumbag calling himself a fan let alone faking a PH license. I will pass this info on to someone in the Department of Licensing.

    Go Seahawks!

    • Thunderstixx says:

Packers should have won that game…
We are all dumbfounded by that mess of the last 3 minutes…
That was the worst football game I have ever seen !!!

      • richg says:

Hey now, maybe the Packer shouldn’t have quit playing before the end of the game, it was theirs to lose… and they did.

This necrotic ballsack named Michael Hays doesn’t represent the rest of us here in the Evergreen state, although he’s doing a good job of it for the liberal elite on the west side.

      • nbcguy54 says:

It’s because the footballs had too much air in them…

    • Hondo says:

Is there any way the Seahawks and Patriots can BOTH lose?

      • UpNorth says:

      • Blaster says:

Concur.. Always been a cowboys fan, even when they suck. I grew up so close to Texas stadium that I could see the top of it from my back yard.

      • Climb to Glory says:

I feel the same way. I can’t stand either of these teams. As for this “Chico” fellow, he looks like a cross between Rowdy “I’ve got your six” Anderson and Gay Jay Kerwin. Butt plug.

  7. Green Thumb says:

    I remember this dildo.

Seems to be the thing these days to secure those PH tags.

Hopefully this maggot will join Ladner and that other turd.

    • Hayabusa says:

Aaaaand, he’s got the obligatory leather motorcycle vest.

The only thing that’s missing from this story is a Florida connection.

    • HMCS(FMF) ret says:

It is Washington State… Gov. Inslee will get him relocated to the Sea-Tac area, give him a $15 entry level job and McDonald’s (“a living wage”) and all of the pot he wants to smoke…

  8. 2/17 Air Cav says:

What’s the story on the PH plate? Is it confirmed, through the Washington MVA/DMV, as requested by him and issued to him?

  9. Dave Hardin says:

Well, 29 Palms looks a lot like Iraq, maybe he is just confused. The Stumps has a strange effect on people, I seen weird things at night.

Obviously he has a fake 214 out there somewhere to get the plate. I will stay diligent in my efforts to get my pending award. Not sure if I should push for the ‘V’ device or not.

    • HMCS(FMF) ret says:

Was stationed there TWICE, Dave… so you know that I’m a “little” off!

    • CLAW131 says:

IIRC, Yermo Logistics Base also looks a lot like the areas our troops have had to endure for the past 13 years.

Not exactly a base that was featured on recruiting posters. It was into Yermo that we railheaded our home station equipment for NTC rotations.

  10. Sparks says:

I say this dip shit is generally overcompensating for his latent homosexuality. I went back to the original write up to see his Facebook page and it’s all him showing his half nude body, then him with a bunch of other half nude dudes in the surf and then him with two Marines, one sitting on each of his knees. (Nothing says queer like hanging out in a parking lot, waiting for a couple of service guys to talk into sitting on your lap!) I say he’s a fag and a queef.

  11. Skippy says:

Now Lol… This is the kind of Crap that I was talking about yesterday to somebody, about policing our own. If talking to them offline dose not work then Light them up. And this is a two time roller WTF ‘ ! ! ! And to think he has a good service record, why throw it out the door ???

  12. Cacti35 says:

I passed info on to reporter that takes an interest in stolen valor and is also a damn good investigative reporter for KOMO TV, Jeff Burnside.

  13. JarHead Pat says:

Good job Scott, this prick has been a thorn in our side for years, My girlfriend saw him at this years fleet week, he was hanging out with a bunch of enlisted Marines, telling tales of all his Spec Ops in ODS, as well as in our local watering hole, were he wears a leg brace limping around telling anyone who will listen how he was injured in a secret operation, and that he is waiting for orders to head back to Afghanistan. I reported him to WA. State DMV for fraud, they never followed through. I hope this will light a fire under there ass.

  14. Dave Hardin says:

Maybe if a few more of us contact the Senator and relay our repeated attempts to get this plate off his car it might be helpful.

  15. CLAW131 says:

His Facebook is being wiped clean as we speak.

    Hope screenshots have been taken.

  16. Ozzie 11B says:

My Uncle, a Vietnam Vet, sent me this, and I just couldn’t keep a good thing to myself. Enjoy!

  17. Jabatam says:

    Light this asshole up

  18. Big Steve says:

ranger1480 is on to something here. The back tattoo looks like GEICO, rather than CHICO.
Henceforth this knob should be referred to as Michael “Geico” Hays. 🙂

  19. Green Thumb says:

I wonder if this turd’s PH plate has been removed yet?
