Saturday morning feel good stories

In Glendale, California, a 79-year-old man was in bed when he heard glass breaking in his home and saw a man in his home and grabbed his gun from his nightstand. The intruder left in a big-ass hurry and the homeowner punctuated the encounter with a gun shot, but he doesn’t think he hit the criminal.

A laundromat business owner in Salt Lake City, Utah confronted a man and a woman who were vandalizing one of his machines. He fired a warning shot into the wall, but the male criminal assaulted him. the pair tried to make their get-away until a passer-by, who was also armed, assisted the business owner holding them at bay until the police arrived.

In Akron, Ohio, while a 58-year-old man was watching television, he says a criminal tried to force his way into the home. The resident took a couple of shots at the man which seemed to change his mind. The criminal was found at the hospital by the police with a couple of new holes in his chest, but the article says his wounds weren’t life threatening.

In Canton, Ohio, when a customer told the convenience store clerk that he intended to rob the store while reaching inside his shirt, the clerk responded with a baseball bat beating until police arrived and took the thief into custody along with his partner after making a pass by the hospital.

    See, you don’t need a firearm to defend yourself. But of course, now we will need legislation restricting size, weight, color and how many baseball bats that you can own.

  2. While none of these criminals got away with any of the goods of the citizens, they will probably be back at work even before the home owners repair the damage done. Center mass, twice or more, with big bore weapons is the deterrent, people.

      Hell, Frankie – with pretty much any caliber above a BB-gun, two in the chest close to center mass should at least be “life threatening”. A collapsed lung is nothing to sneeze about (pun intended).

        Carburetor cleaner works good too. It’s really nasty in the eyes or even on the face.
        It will also drop a wasp in mid flight and it’s cheap as hell!
        When you soak the puke toss a match, they’ll never bother you again !!!
