Chad Porterfield; Phony Army football player

| January 5, 2016

Chad Porterfield

Someone sent us their work on this Chad Porterfield fellow. He claims that he played football for “several” Army posts

Army football

Well, except when he was motoring around in his M109A6 Paladin self-propelled artillery vehicle;

Porterfield_tank 1

Yeah, no, unless he did all of that in 17 days, because that’s how long he spent on active duty while he was in the National Guard;

  1. Hondo says:

Must be legit. After all, nothing says “high-speed/low-drag stud football player” like washing out of basic in less than 3 weeks!

  2. ChipNASA says:

Next we’re going to hear about all the Holidays that he spent away from home and from his family.
Well at least that wouldn’t be a lie.
    Fat Fucktard.

  3. The Commentor' Formerly Known as MCPO NYC USN Ret. says:

This guy is LEGIT and you guys know it!

What he meant to say was, “I played Army foodball”.

    Google it!

  4. Dapandico says:

Is headed to the front lines in Oregon?

  5. Old Trooper says:

Didn’t even make it through boot? Yeah, he’s a real high speed operator, right there!

  6. Stark says:

That’s one of the weirder ones I’ve heard of. It would never have even occurred to me to question that story.

    • AndyFMF says:

Who the hell wants to lie about this? What benefit was gained?

It sounds like something said while drunk, but the lie has clearly become part of his life.

Some people must lead truly empty lives if this is the way they finding meaning.

      • Kat says:

His Facebook friends are all strippers, that seems to be the benefit. He is a kid’s football coach by day and Daddy make it rain at night.

  7. Carlton G. Long says:

Now that Coach Frank Beamer has retired, he has plenty of time to find this clown, rip the Virginia Tech hat off of his head, and shove it straight up his tunnel of joy.

  8. A Proud Infidel®™ says:

OOOOH, 17 days? Another one out sooner than Giduck, I wonder if he’s a shovel ninja as well?

  9. CA_SGT says:

Here is the Facebook page for the team he coaches. We should let the parents of the student athletes know the character of a certain coach mentoring their children.

    • CA_SGT says:

I contacted the head coach of the high school football team Chad coaches for and he seemed generally shocked but receptive to investigating Chad’s claims. I pointed him here and told him to link up with Jonn, so we’ll see how this all plays out soon, I guess.

      • Kat says:

Good, then I thought about asking his teams sponsors how they felt with their names being attached to a guy like that?

  10. A Proud Infidel®™ says:

“Uncharacterized Entry Level Separation”, meaning he immediately washed out and was thrown out with the previous day’s trash! I remember seeing a few get thrown out in the first few weeks of Basic and I’ll forever remember them as WUSSES!

    • The Commentor' Formerly Known as MCPO NYC USN Ret. says:

“Uncharacterized Entry Level Separation” is code for pussy!

Being a pussy is NOT “Failure to Adapt (FTA)”.

Some people may try very hard and are good people, but some just FTA.

The boy above is just a pussy.

So when you see … “Uncharacterized Entry Level Separation”, just think pussy, bouts of crying and missing mommy.

      That is all!

      • Hondo says:

You might want to use “FtA” vice
“FTA” in that context, MCPO. Let’s just say that “FTA” has another, older, and somewhat different translation – and it wasn’t “failure to adapt”. (smile)

        • Perry Gaskill says:

As a matter of amusing trivia, one of the charter airlines that ferried troops into Viet Nam was Flying Tiger. Their planes all had a big “FTA” painted on the tail…

      • Just An Old Dog says:

“Entry Level Seperation” Covers a lot of sub-categories. Failure to Adapt, Erroneous and Fraudulent. What doesnt hold water is him saying he was given the boot after a disabling injury.
The military has an obligation to treat any injury and if is a permanent condition the Recruit will get a pension from the VA like any other service member.
Mr Touchdown here could not have possibly had that happen. The closest possibility would for him to be one of those fat body recruits who was diagnosed with a pre-existing condition after he fell out of all the runs.

    • HMCS (FMF) ret. says:

Guess the umbilicus didn’t stretch far enough from home to Ft. Knox… or his FTS flared up!

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

What you two said AND he wanted out because he missed getting a warm enema from his Mommy every time she thought he had been a good little boy. I’ve had BCT washouts tell me yeah, they got kicked out for beating up a DS or DI and I laughed right in their faces!

  11. Ex-PH2 says:

Doubt he could have made it through WAVES boot camp. PN Fenstermacher was one mean lady.

  12. Guard Bum says:

None of these non hackers could have imagined when they pussed out how that shame would impact them later on in their lives. A decade after this guys failure we are attacked, the military becomes fashionable and in fact is one of the few institutions still enjoying the public’s trust and all this phony can do is look back in regret and try to reinvent himself as a Veteran.

You get one shot in life, not everyone is cut out for the military and there is no shame in not serving….but failing at serving is a life long shame and this doofus just compounded it.

Your not a winner coach…just a sad example for the kids.

    • Mike says:

I tried to enlist in the summer of 2003 to join the fight in Iraq but was medically disqualified at MEPS. Went into the Merchant Marine instead and would never even THINK of making the claim that I served in even a non-combat role in the war. I work on Military Sealift ships but never even sailed into a warzone or earned an expeditionary medal… still would never lie about it. These people amaze me too.

      • Guard Bum says:

Hey Mike I sure hope you didn’t think I would consider NPQ as a failure..I have 6 kids, two served (1 is still serving), three never had any desire but are red blooded Americans to the core and one tried to join but was NPQ due to foot ball injuries to his knees.

As an aside, I actually dropped out of HS and ran away with the intent on joining a merchant ship and seeing the world….made it to Seattle and found out they weren’t much interested in a 16 year old kid with delusions of south seas topless native girls!

        • Mike says:

Hey Guard!! No worries, I was just expanding on your sentiments a bit. We look up to our heroes, but I would never stoop so low as to claim I was there with them going through the worst of it.

    • Pinto Nag says:

      Nail, meet Hammer.

  13. Weekend Warrior in Texas says:

I have been to Ft Knox in January. Failure to adapt sure looked like a comfortable option while standing in some miserable ass weather while a Drill Sergeant was yelling rude & mean things at me. Good thing I was 46 years old, and had already seen & heard it all once before.

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Doing Engineer OSUT at Fort Lost-in-the-woods from October to February was also a real joy, especially in the early nineties!

  14. Slick Goodlin says:

What did you do in the Army Daddy?

Well..I was on several Base Command Football Teams!!

What the hell is a Base Command Football Team?

  15. Green Thumb says:

  16. 13B/92S/02M says:

This made my day someone who wants to be cannon-cockur ! I played football in the Army too , Baumholder , Germany Smith Barracks .My unit was the flag football Champions of the post we had games on the weekends against other units . Pre Game , game and post game binge drinking was the standard

  17. OWB says:

It’s always creepy when a valor thief uses his/her lies to ingratiate themselves into the lives of other people’s children. Just creepy.

  18. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

What a wiener, it’s not like base athletics is pro sports…it’s a lot of fun to be sure but c’mon dumbass it would be easier to say you played some semi-pro ball and were injured than to state you played for several base football teams in your 17 day run for the cup.

  19. Doc Savage says:

Well…..his glazed expression does say “tackle dummy”.

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

ALL THREE of his chins tell me it’s likely that he has an EXPERT Jelly Doughnut Assassin Badge!!

    • Green Thumb says:

More like End, Guard and Tackle.

The positions he played in his limited and imaginative mind.

More like he sat at the end of the bench, guarded the balls (that I am sure he deflated and worked, if you know what I mean), and tackled anyone that tried to get them.

      And he is around kids.

I wonder, if he even was in enrolled in West Point, if he had to pay it back after “turding out”.

Not really on the radar of SV, but just fucking silly.

      Weaksuace this clown is.

  20. CA_SGT says:

He appears to have stripped his facebook of photos and such (i got screenshots before he did though) that or he locked me out, but all his photos appear to be gone as does his “about me” section.

    • CA_SGT says:

Also, his name and bio no longer appear alongside the coaching staff for the Manchester High School Lancers. I think my conversation with the Head Coach didnt go so well for Chad. Mabye we’ll see him man up and apologize here, but I wouldnt hold my breath.

      • C_P1973 says:

I to apologize to any and all individuals involved in this situation. I have been removed from the staff and program in which I have dedicated 6 years to. I support and stand behind all current, former, and future military personell. I would only ask that I be left alone and my children be left alone. There is always more to the story then what social media provides. My military career was cut short from breaking my knee in training and I tried every 3 years to re-enlist until my leg was amputated in 2004. My heart will always be with the armed forces. Thank you all.

        • concerned parent says:

I have just learned that your leg was amputated due to a motorcycle accident. Is that true or would you like to blame that on your military injury?

        • GDContractor says:

          Interesting Facebook comment up above.

        • USMC_Sgt says:

You sound like a skilled liar to me. And one who is having a little pity party. How does it feel to have been living a life of lies? No one cares about your stories of what you tried to do. The fact is that you LIED about your life and about serving to try to get what you want. Or make yourself seem better. Whatever. It is disgusting. You can’t stand to be whatever it is you are so you have to pretend to be something you are not.

        • The Commentor' Formerly Known as MCPO NYC USN Ret. says:

I have read all of your pathetic posts!

How many damn one legged amputations can a man have?

You are a pussy, as I called early in this thread!

You may believe your heart is with the armed forces, but Mr. Portlyfield (seemingly listing to the starboard now) the armed forces are not with you … Because YOU ARE A VALOR THIEF!

      • concerned parent says:

What was the coaches reaction when you spoke with him? Do they intend to let him continue to coach?

        • C_P1973 says:

Please read my statement and apology stated above. Again, everything is not as it seems. There is always two sides to a story. To many are quick to judge and throw stones at what the know nothing about. Again I am sorry for any inconvenience I am paying my price in giving up my coaching career that I have dedicated the last decade of my life to.

          • Green Thumb says:

You could always secure employment at All-Points Logistics (Merritt Island, Florida) with the False Commander Phil Monkress (CEO of All-Points Logistics) as their intermural flag football coach.

            Its a taxpayer-funded position.

Word has it that they are playing FirstTech in the semifinals.

            You should take a look.

            Quick way in.

          • USMC_Sgt says:

What is there to falsely judge? How could you possibly explain the lies stated above?! Poor little washout. It’s easier to create your own stories hu?

        • CA_SGT says:

Coach Hall thanked me for bringing it to his attention and promised to get to the bottom of it. Mr Porterfield was removed from the coaching staff website less thsn 4 hours after Coach Hall replied to my email. I am not privy to what was discussed between them.

      • C_P1973 says:

CA_SGT, I hope this is man enough of an apology for you. It has cost me more than anyone could ever imagine.

        • concerned parent says:

If there are two sides of the story please set us straight by Identifying yourself as Chad Porterfield and give “your side”. As a concerned parent of a Manchester High School Football Player, I will be the first to report to the group and “unleash” the hounds if you have decided to lie about the dismissal of your coaching career.

          • C_P1973 says:

No I am hanging it up. I cannot endure this, and divorce among other mountains in my life. My coaching is over.

            • Deer Run Dad says:

A divorce? Really? Did you get married again? Public records show that you have been divorced since 2013. Is this another lie to gain sympathy from the brotherhood of veterans that you are falsely claiming to be to be part of? When does the truth begin for you?

          • C_P1973 says:

And please ask your son, if at any time I was not a good, fair, and capable coach. But that’s not on trial here is it. If you want to ask me anything have the courtesy to ask me face to face please. I will be Glad to talk to you.

          • The Commentor' Formerly Known as MCPO NYC USN Ret. says:

There is only one true side to this story! Lets go to the inter web and FOIA.

          • CA_SGT says:

His “injured my knee” in basic training story is bullshit. Had that happened, he’d have remained on Active Duty for months for treatment and rehibilitation. Additionally, his discharge would not be the one listed. Finally, he would have a “service connected disability” with the VA and would have presented such info immediately. I have an intimate knowledge of the Army Medical Hold and Retirement process for National Guard and Reserve Soldiers. Mr. Porterfield got caught in a lie and now is trying to cover his tracks with another.

            • HMCS (FMF) ret. says:

CA_SGT… see my comment made a few minutes ago. I saw this when I taught at HM “A” school quite a few times, and we held people at the command and on AD for medical care, unless it was a preexisting condition. And, yes the seps code was different than ELS.

Personal opinion – he got to Basic at Ft. Knox and had second thought… probably was encouraged by his DS to give it a chance and just couldn’t cut it and wanted out.

Porterfield needs to be worried about commenter “concerned parent” more than us here at TAH…

              • CA_SGT says:

I contacted Coach Hall about Porterfields comments here, his bogus “injury” excuse, and the fact that parents of his players were showing up and asking questions. I told Coach hall he should send out an email addressing the situation so that “concerned parents” dont get the wrong idea. Also for “concerned parent” posting on here, Coach Hall has my contact info including my name and cell number, you’re welcome to get it from him and contact me if you have any questions.

        • CA_SGT says:

My Suitemate at Walter Reed was a triple amutee who lost his limbs to an IED, I can imagine quite a bit. No this isnt “man enough” for me. Your knee injury story is bullshit. Anyone with even an iota of knowledge on how active duty injuries are handled can tell in 2 seconds your story is a complete lie. Man up with the truth and Ill accept your apology, until then, Fuck off fraud.

      • C_P1973 says:

And for the record I didn’t “wash” out. I was medically discharged for busting my knee and leg in 6 places. The military was all I ever wanted to be in.

        • Ex-PH2 says:

I’m curious, Mr. Porterfield. In one of those photos above, you kneel on one knee but the image of the other leg is cut off. What are you hiding?

People here are quite used to seeing limbs so damaged by battlefield injuries that they have to be replaced with biomechanical prostheses. It’s nothing to be embarrassed about.

So why is the image of YOUR right leg deliberately blocked out?

          • C_P1973 says:

I cannot kneel on the other leg. It does not have enough range of motion in the knee. I am not ashamed by my amputation by any means. It was a matter of life or death because of bone infection from damage. So it was the hand I was dealt.

            • Green Thumb says:

              How were you inured?

              In Basic, no less?

              • Green Thumb says:

                • GDContractor says:

And how, 11 years later was he Super Bowl MVP with 155 solo tackles and 5 sacks for the 2002 season to lead the league?

              • C_P1973 says:

My leg got hung in my rack as our DS’s were on a war path. When I tried to get out of my bed I fell and snapped my knee, tibia, and fibia. In 6 places. But I still got up off the floor and stood at attention until I passed out. Cause I’m a “pussy” right. Again people have no clue what happened. And I had multiple surgeries to that leg.

                • IDC SARC says:

                  weak genes

                • The Commentor' Formerly Known as MCPO NYC USN Ret. says:

Yep, Sounds like a pussy to me. You fell out of your rack and busted your leg so bad, it needed to be cut off. Bad genes NO! Bad landing NO! Pussy YES!

I know a guy who was shot in the Nam by an AK round, while hanging from a cliff. With his leg dangling port and starboard, he ceremonious wrapped it with 100 mile an hour tape and completed his mission (with a little help from a friend).

You sound like a iPhone Zombie, video game playin’, momma’s boy suckling, POS fryin’ future inmate in a county jail type of punk.

Yeah, FOIA did not return any info on extended stay at mil hospital.

PS: Yes, cause your a pussy!

                • Jay says:

Really that sounds like BS as a retired soldier. At first you said you hurt your knee now you say it because of the Drill Sgt but you have yet to say anything about your motorcycle wreck that I have looked up as the post above stated and then after posting to Merchants tire former employee site they say your were fine and had not issues with your leg. I know for fact that you can not get an Entry Level Separation if you had been hurt in boot your would have been medical discharged out and would have a positive record for it. Every solider knows the military takes care of all injury even those of a pussy. Own it you pussy

                • concered parent says:

As a concerned parent, I have done some further research and found your claims of injury to be a lie. Tell the TRUTH for once…you were injured in a motorcycle accident which was no fault but that of your own. This injury had NOTHING to do with the military. Face the truth for once in Your life for the sake of everything you value. I’m sure the ACTUAL veterans in this post will back me and stop at nothing to expose you for who you really are to the school you have lied to, your children you undoubtly have misled, and to any others you have fabricated the truth.

                • CA_SGT says:

I was a 68W. I have also been through the medical retirement process. If an injury like the one you claim to have sustained occurred, you would have been on Active Duty much longer than 17 days as it would have at the least required surgery. Additionally youd have remained on Active Duty during the entire treatment and rehabilitation phase. Finally your discharge would have been a different classification than the one listed. I am the wrong person to try and pull a claim on about medical injuries, Mr. Porterfield. You may wish to try and come up with a mire believable story.

                • HMCS (FMF) ret. says:

Ok, if you were injured in Basic Training, why is there nothing documented on (I’m assuming its a 2-1 or equal document) that your were placed in a Medical Holding Company? It looks like you stated training on January 25, 1993 and were separated less than 3 weeks later in February.

The military does not “kick” anyone to the curb that is injured in Basic Training, unless the person showed up with a preexisting injury.

Sorry, your story doesn’t jive with me, and probably a few others here… it’s time for you to come clean. Also, it looks like commenter “concerned parent” is going to do a hell of a lot more damage to your reputation than the posters here at TAH.

I broke both tibia l, fibula busted my I knee barefoot runningvin middle school. There’s no way that on Gods green earth you stood at attention, until you passed from the pain. With both broken in several place..your ass wouldn’t have been able to stand PERIOD. All your broken bones would shot through the muscles and end up compound fractures. I was carried off field by eight friends interlocking their hands to elbow. I don’t believe a word you’ve said and YOU STAND BEHIND ALL MILITARY. PRAISE BUDDHA I’M NOT MILITARY..I DON’T want YOUR LYING ASS BEHIND MEM POSER

                  • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Ooohh DAMN, he pissed the Lionesses of TAH®™ off, now he’ll find out what being a scratching post feels like!

                • Pinto Nag says:

This situation has NOTHING to do with any broken bones of yours, it has to do with HONOR. I could list all of my physical injuries, ho-hum, week’s wash, it’s called “fair wear and tear,” and it came from the decisions I made in life and paid for. But you did something I’ve NEVER done, and that was to claim military service that I never had, and I have also never attempted to elicit sympathy for injuries with some kind of bullshit story instead of the truth! You have a chance, here and now, to regain some scrap of something you lost a long time ago, and that is your HONOR — but to do that, you have to stop using lies and excuses for the fate life gave you. Deal with it, you whining little snot. That’s nothing more than all the rest of us have to do.

                • Kat says:

Fell out a rack, on base, on active duty and no one pays a penny for it? The boot you out with nothing but a memory of standing at attention until you passed out? X-rays please?

                  • Green Thumb says:

It appears this turd just could not cut it.

As time progressed, he started to feel better about himself and came up with a “story”.

I am willing to be that he told someone somewhere down the line that he lost his leg in battle.

                    Any takers?

            • Ex-PH2 says:

Mr. Porterfield, please try reading for comprehension.

I was very specific. I did not ask why you were on one knee and not the other. I asked ‘what were you hiding?’

If there was a child in that spot, so be it. The moderator of this blog blocked it, which is appropriate. If you blocked it for some reason, then please provide the REAL reason.

There are plenty of people who have jointed ambulatory prostheses, but don’t hide them from view.

          • SgtCpt says:

I’ve been following this blog entry since early this morning. I sent an email to the head football coach alerting him to the situation. The coach replied within 15 minutes and thanked me for the information. The image that has a portion of his leg blocked out above was done by an admin on this blog as there was a small child next to Chad. The real questions are: Why add to the bio about playing linebacker on several base command teams? and what does “How I use to roll !!! 1992 style !!! 155 Paliden MAS” mean?

          • GDContractor says:

Ex- I’m guessing their was a wife or a child in the photo and Jonn or someone photoshopped them out before posting the photo here. The fact that it took out his leg is just coincidence.

            • CA_SGT says:

There was a child in the part of the picture, Jonn cropped out. It wasnt Mr. Porterfield who cropped the photo but one of us. Ive seen the original on his facebook before he scrubbed the page and can confirm it was a kid where the white square is now.

              • Ex-PH2 says:

                Thanks, CA_SGT.
Evading a direct question that only requires a simple, direct answer is another indication that the real answer doesn’t fit the ‘I’m a victim whine line’.

          • The Commentor' Formerly Known as MCPO NYC USN Ret. says:

I thinks he is hiding a very large bag of fried cheeseburgers perched in front of his DS induced rack fall former leg.

Then again, I could be wrong!

My family do not deserve any other bashing from anyone who hides behind a screen name and throws comments. So if anyone else has anything to say,I would appreciate it be said face to face. You win, I lost. Have fun.

    • JG says:

I agree lets talk face to face on the local news tomorrow I have contacted 12 on your side and we will be at your house on whirlaway dr

    • JG says:

Your family does not deserve anything but the truth and that is what we will push for unless you would like to tell us yourself…. Post the ACTUAL truth here now!

    • The Commentor' Formerly Known as MCPO NYC USN Ret. says:

      Hey CAPT Hook,

One should be cautious about making false claims with respects to unlawful acts. That is what we call in LE … illegal.

Many here are most highly edjumicated in the areas of criminal and civil law and law enforcement … Experts in calling BRAVO SIERRA on such claims.

We already know what your next claim is and what it will be!

So have fun trying to out wit even the most junior of the TAH alum.

If some violates you in any way and you are hurt (feelings or otherwise), call 911 and give a complete and truthful statement. In addition, give them web address to TAH.

    • GDContractor says:

Yeah we had it all wrong. You are the victim in all of this. Didn’t see that coming!

    • CA_SGT says:

If anyone is harrassing your family over your lies, we don’t support it. We do our best to leave families out if it, but if they come here and comment they become fair game here. I know for a fact none of the regular posters here would harrass your family and Im sorry if anyone who is not a regular poster here has done so.

      • Green Thumb says:

My best guess is that this turd is using his family as cover and concealment.

Making up bs about the threats and messing with the kids to make him look like the victim in the larger picture.

        • Kat says:

Yup, my hubbs asked if he said we were hurting his kids yet? I said yes, he’s doing that very thing. It is such an algorithm with these guys.

  26. Ex-PH2 says:

Mr. Porterfield, I’d appreciate it if you’d drop the fabricating and tell the truth.

You washed out of Army basic in less time than it takes to talk about it. There is no record of your having a service-connected disability. It appears to be otherwise. I asked you a direct question and I was polite, but you didn’t answer me at all. You waffled. There is an indication that your ‘lost limb’ story has nothing to do with your brief time in the service. So what is the truth?

Please just answer my questions and stop your whining and evasion. It does not work with me.

    Thank you.

  27. TheCloser says:

I’m not usually one to pile on, but if he was discharged because he broke his leg in six places during training, he would not have received an “Uncharacterized Entry Level Separation” after 17 days (typed into his service record twice). -Captain Obvious …out

    • The Commentor' Formerly Known as MCPO NYC USN Ret. says:

      Thank you CAPT Obvious!

      • Hack Stone says:

That’s “Thank you CAPT obvious, sir!” to you, Sailor! Now, drop and give me twenty.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

According to someone on FB, he lost it in a biker accident. If he won’t admit to that, fuck him and the hog he rode in on.

      • Reb says:

Ex..he wasn’t rolling on a Harley…it was a moped, like the one we bought our little one. Before riding reading directions and learning how to ride. Your the type to jump and go.

    • OWB says:

Interesting twist to all this is that if he was injured in basic, the Army might or might not have fixed his injury if he was there as a member of the Guard. Still, that doesn’t justify his lies.

If he would sign an SF 180 and let his Guard medical records be accessed, that unlikely possibility could be checked out.

  28. 13B/92S/O2M says:

His bio also says that his football jersey was “retired” when he was done playing semi pro ball . Now I got some nice football jerseys Montana , Butkis , Stabler , Swan , LT , Matuzak . I can’t wait to add Portershitter to my collection

  29. HMCS (FMF) ret. says:

I think the shit is going to get deeper for Chad… looks at what I didn’t find concerning his “walk-on career” at VA Tech:

Care to guess who isn’t listed on any of the rosters above? Oh, BTW… I’ve emailed the Athletic Department at VT to follow up on this claim and will forward any G-2 to Jonn for his review.

  30. C_P1973 says:

You guys win. You got what you were after. But this is effecting my kids now and I am getting threats on my family. I am the one who lost everything here. But they shouldn’t have to suffer. Please call off the wolves.

    • OWB says:

YOUR lies are what is hurting your kids. Shame on you.

How is that our responsibility? But, assuming I had any control over the wolves in your ‘hood, I’d gladly call them off. But I don’t.

YOU stared this by lying. Own it.

      • Hondo says:

Bingo. Often the family of someone who lies about their military service catches the majority of the grief resulting from their lies. But the responsibility lies with the liar – not those who prove he/she is full of it.

      • C_P1973 says:

You are completely right. I am just trying to end this. Before it hurts them more. They are my only care and concern right now.

        • OWB says:

Then maybe you should have considered them before you lied the first time, then continued to lie and lie and lie some more.

It’s up to you to explain this to them, and perhaps to make this into a teachable moment.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

Jam it, Porterfield. Quit the useless lying, you idiot.

You brought this on yourself. Stop your whining and stop the fucking lying. You are making a mess of your own life and have been for some time.

How many other things have you lied about?

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

      1. You lied.
      2. You got caught.
      3. You’re being held accountable for it.

  31. C_P1973 says:

I am going to OWN it. And I am paying for it dearly. And will continue to do so for the rest of my life. I have waited 12 years to be a part of my sons program. That’s now gone. But I alone should bare the burden, not him, or my daughters. they don’t deserve it.

    • OWB says:

Continuing to whine about the price YOU are paying is not owning it. You lied. You got caught up in your own lies. Living with the results of your lies is the natural result.

Your kids absolutely do not deserve to suffer from your lies, yet that is the gift you gave them. Some day they will understand that.

Meanwhile, quit expecting any of us to sympathize with YOUR hurt. You simply will not get anything but derision from us. You are a valor thief, perhaps even a criminal, depending upon how much you gained monetarily from your lies.

      Just stop.

    • CA_SGT says:

As Ive stated, all or at least the majority if the veterans posting on here would never threaten nor harass your family. They’re innocent in all this. So death threats and harrasment are more than likely coming from people in your community taking notice of this site or outside internet trolls. Either way we don’t condone it and we have no control over it. However, know that we often get people claiming a sob story of threats (see Daniel Bernath) against them and their family and think its us, but are proven wrong in court. Again, I am sorry if anything is being said to your kids as we dont support that behavior. Your best bet to get stuff to end is to publicly own up to it. Post something on your facebook wall, make it public, make it sincere and dont make excuses like “I hurt my knee getting out of the bunk”. Then people will probably leave you alone, but again theeats to kids are not our style so I doubt its any of us. And dont ever pull this shit again cause we are always watching But know Jonn will never take this theead down.

      • C_P1973 says:

I do not think it was anyone related to this blog or site. I have a good idea who it is and it was done through Facebook and text as my phone number was easily available. That being said I will protect my kids till the last drop of blood and my last breath. Exposing or embarrassment of me is one thing. But as you agreed kids are off limits.

        • Green Thumb says:

Quit using your kids as an excuse to play the victim, you sorry sack of shit.

I imagine if anyone called, and I am having a hard time believing that, they called to talk to you, not your kids, maggot.

Man the fuck up or move the fuck out, you fat, whiny bitch.

    • Green Thumb says:

You should call together a press conference and tell everyone the truth once and for all.

      “I am a turd”.

Get it off your chest, man.

      • HMCS (FMF) ret. says:

Chad, I’m going to go one step further… you want to “man up” about this? I’m assuming that the local school district had to approve your hire for the football team, and had to do this for each of the last six years. I would suggest that you go to the next school board meeting and in the public comments part of the meeting, take the podium and admit to them, and the public, that you lied about your service in the military, and any other lies you told to the coaching staff, students, parents and the school board.

You abused the trust of the head coach (how took a chance on you and hired you) the student/players (I’m sure that some of them looked to you as a mentor) and to their parents (who placed their trust in you) with your lies. I’m with CA_SGT that your kids should not be threatened.

Time to be a man, Chad… stop the lies… especially to your family.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

What time is the press conference, huh? Make the most of it. It will probably be your last chance at the spotlight for a while.

  32. rb325th says:

What a dirtbag. Apology is empty, and not honest. GFY, you were just a “phony” football player, now you are so much more…

      – He was doing it to honor someone.
      – I’m going to fire a report with the Chesterfield County Police/Virginia State Police.

    • HMCS (FMF) ret. says:

Minor correction, sj… it’s spelled “lawer” here at TAH.

  34. ChipNASA says:

    From the Facebook comment above…..
….record of you losing your leg in a motorcycle accident in which you injured a single young lady that you were cheating on your wife and 3 kids with.

/Ex wife shows up to throw him under the bus in 3………2………1…….

  35. ChipNASA says:

I believe I am going to nickname this worthless, pussy, lying assbag…….

    Chode Portapotty.

/yeah, it’s got a nice ring to it.

  36. Jarhead says:

Hey Bub, don’t let these folks bring you down. Disregard and continue your course of being a bitch-slapped drama queen. First things first…change your name to Porterhouse. No, wait just a damned minute; I meant change it to Cheapburgers. Now, go volunteer to be a janitorial specialist at halftime, taking care to sweep the floor. The public will feel sorry for you and eat that shit up. ESPECIALLY if you wear a sign on the back of your shirt that says, “Ima F’ng Liar, But Will Sweep For Food” Man that hometown crowd will cheer your every row of picking up dust and pennies the geezers throw to you out of pity. Give it until the end of the basketball season and then make your move to get back in the public’s eye as a real hero. Go downtown daily with a sandwich sign that says, “Leave my kids out of it, they can’t help it that their father is a lying sack of bovine excrement”. You follow my plans Bub and you’ll one day be able to walk with your head held high. People DO tend to forget. Man, within probably ten years or so, they’ll be asking you to coach the girls’ kickball team. Hang in there, don’t let it get you down. I truly believe you can be the next Richard Nixon of your home town! Lotsa luck luuuuzzzer!

  37. LPR73 says:

Just curious…how did all of this get started? Did something happen to make someone feel the need to look into this?

  38. Green Thumb says:

    Yo, Chud Poserfield!

How does sleeping in feel these days? Must be nice to not have to set that alarm clock.

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

A LOT of employers do Google searches on prospective employees these days. 😀

  39. conceredparent says:

It’s unfortunate that Mr. Porterfield’s coaching career has not stopped. He can now be found on the baseball fields coaching for the Chesterfield Little League. I fear what lies he spreads to these children who are at such vulnerable stages of their adolescents.
