Christopher Lafayelle/Kincell; phony special operations

| July 20, 2016

Someone sent us their work on this Christoper Lafayelle fellow. He changed his name from Christopher Kincell several years ago;

He probably changed his name because he was arrested in Fayetteville, North Carolina for trafficking in drugs in 1990;

Regarding the earlier charges by local authorities, Mr. Smith is charged with conspiring with Fort Bragg soldier Christopher Shannon Kincell to possess, sell and deliver steroids between Oct. 27 and Nov. 17.

Mr. Kincell, about 22, was charged Nov. 17 with four counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver anabolic steroids, four counts of sale of anabolic steroids and one count each of conspiracy to distribute anabolic steroids and maintaining a drug vehicle, according to records.

The steroids allegedly bought from Mr. Kincell were believed to have come from Mexico, West Germany and France, according to authorities.

His LinkedIn profile doesn’t mention his time in the slammer, but he does make reference to his time in “Special Operations”;

Kincell LinkedIn

Well, he was “special operations” if that is what you call a prime mover driver for air defense artillery systems in the 3/4th ADA in the 82d Airborne Division.

Lafayelle/Kincell got out of the Army as a Private First Class after four years. He was activated for Desert Storm, but that war ended before he could leave Fort Bliss, Texas. He claims that he has two honorable discharges from the Army and that’s why he has two – that three months at Fort Bliss earned him one and he was discharged before the drug arrest in 1990.

Of course he is the founder or co founder of several veteran service non-profit organizations.

I am a little disappointed there are no puppies involved. Slacker can’t even get his scams done right.

    Shit stain.

  2. Claw says:

    “3d Generation operator”?

Yeah, he’s an operator all right. As in M561 Gamma Goat operator.

    Hope his ears ring forever.

  3. Ex-PH2 says:

I’m just not gettin’ the love here from you guys.

  4. Fastjack says:

Oh, he’s “Special” Operations alright, with an Expert medal with the Slime Rifle.

    • HMCS(FMF) ret. says:

“Special Operations” – like Manhole Inspecting? Taint Tickling? Goo Gobbling? Cockmeat Connoisseur?

I thought so… and I’d bet he was the “catcher” on the prison “ball” team!

  5. HT3 '83-'87 says:

He’s 3rd generation, hmmm…anyway to check on that? Is he dragging his grandfather, father, and son into this?

His charity is not rated by Charity Navigator, so I’d be interested in what percentage goes to Vets and what goes to “fund raising expenses”.

  6. Sandman says:

See you try to share the fame some people earn with them,,and they block you! SMDH! But he knows now, and I expect a visit from him, or his puppets,,,soon!

  7. Hondo says:

Interesting. The linked article says that this guy was charged on 17 Nov with possession with intent to distribute and some other crimes. The article’s dated 6 March 1990 – so presumably that means Kincell was arrested on 17 Nov 1989. He was still on active duty at the time.

I’d love to know the full backstory on this one – specifically, how he escaped a court-martial or an OTH discharge in lieu of court-martial.

EDITED TO ADD: Looked over the timing a second time, and I’d guess the guy was allowed to ETS normally because his unit “didn’t want the hassle” of a court-martial and decided to let civilian authorities have him. If that’s the case, it’s a pity – he likely got an honorable discharge that he clearly may not have deserved.

  8. Army of None says:

Well, according to his LinkedIn, he is single handed lay responsible for every military and veteran organization’s success in Chicago. Guess that makes sense, since he is single handedly responsible for taking down drug cartels in Latin America, according to the tall tales he tells about his extracurricular activities as a mercenary of God.

Check out his websites for even more entertaining reading…

It’s also interesting how, according to the bios he has plastered all over the Internet, he was doing all these wonderful things, but the Western District of Texas denied him a reduction in charging/sentencing for what appears to be another drug case in 2007 (10th entry)-

I wonder how many good people and organizations are aware of the truth about this guy. I wonder how many have been duped by this dupe. I wonder who he’s going to threaten first with his Mexican drug cartel connections for smearing his name with that pesky little thing known as the truth.

I wonder how many people will defend this dirt bag felon with that old chestnut about people having done the crime, doing the time and deserving second chances. Well, it is the Second City, but I don’t think that’s what the saying is supposed to mean.

  9. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

No doubt he rode a “special” short yellow bus to those “special” operations he’s talking about…

PFC after four years? Man this guy must have been one hard charging son-of-a-bitch….that takes a special sort of talent to reach E-3 in 4 years of effort.

  10. 2/17 Air Cav says:

“1996-2001 – Missionary and wanderer in Mexico, where he wrote “The Teachers’ Teacher” and created the English teaching method, AEIOUY Method, which is now taught to students and teachers in more than 9 Universities and hundreds of elementary and Jr. High schools.” Source:

He’s a professor? I wonder whether he and Dr. Chevy Cheese are alumni of the same prestigious mail-order diploma school. I can’t find “The Teacher’s Teacher” by him in a google search, either. I also searched the “AEIOUY Method” he created. I got a hit. Funny, he’s not mentioned. The AEIOU&Y Method of Reading is attributed to a Dr. H.C. Tien, M.D. of Lansing, Michigan. (Source:

    • HMCS(FMF) ret. says:

Now, now… Chevy Cheesedick knows better than to make the claim of having a peeHdee in the Great State of TEXAS! That’s a misdemeanor, and he’s made those claims on the Interwebs numerous times!

  16. 42A Combat Clerk says:

As for pure shitbaggery, these con-douches that run multiple states and websites promoting themselves on lies is prolly the lowest of the low.

That being said, it will be hard for another poser to top Rick Patterson’s “Make Them Pay” Novella and threats of turning into an inhuman killing machine that can’t be restrained by multiple cops, in my heart. That is true all time great fuckery right there.

    • Hack Stone says:

Yeah, that was some seriously bad-ass shit going on with Patterson. I think that his motto, “Make Them Pay” is because he has been bouncing checks at some of the more notorious low rent motels throughout America.

I think that the next time the CIA wants to pull recruits out of basic training for some off the books missions, they should take a look at those reading comprehension scores on the ASVABs. I may have gotten PTSD From reading, but more likely an STD.

  17. 2/17 Air Cav says:

I think I recognize him. Wasn’t he in the movie Damien?

    • Green Thumb says:

“Damien Dildo does Dudes in Dallas”.

Never saw it and not really my thing but All-Points Logistics’ website gives it rave reviews.

Four out of five “Phildos” I believe.

      • Hack Stone says:

I am going to be on the road for the rest of the week, and may miss the opening of the Weekend Open Thread, so can you let me know if Phil will be working balls this weekend?

  18. thebesig says:

He’s special operations all right, the kind of special that can count to potato. 🙄

  19. Ncat says:

In future, he should consider growing a real “SpecOps” beard. Then maybe he wouldn’t be doubted so quickly.

  20. A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Jesus, just looking at his facebook page is so much “I’m a badass” crap that you need hip waders for the bullshit.

  22. OldManchu says:

I guess airborne wasn’t enough status for this douche.

I served with a guy who got locked up in Ft. Knox for selling LSD. Right after he came home a hero with a CIB (in my book) from Desert Storm. Regrets it to this day.

Everybody he worked with in Chicago closely was in on his crooked ass s*** will Ward and a bunch of other people all Crooks stealing people money line to him with fake ass programs I’m glad he got busted now people will see what I’ve been doing for years he is a fake a liar and will smile in your face while snatching your wallet out of your pocket

    • Craig Genteman says:

Can you expand more on your comment please?

      • the one that used to be with you says:

Chris claimed to have co authored “put Illinois to work” , he also scammed money from investors on phony veterans housing units that never got off the ground. He is a con man who is out to hob nob with politicians and notables. Christopher uses the vet sympathy act to get people to believe his lies. His vast knowledge of vet programs and politics make him believable. I have yet to see anything concrete that he has done for anyone but himself. Drugs, whores and hanging with black people is how he lives in order to keep himself connected to those gullible enough to believe this liar. He has many people who believe in him because he is a vet and lies about his secret service assignments…but I have watched him con people including myself out of what ever he can get to make his next con believable. He is still a vet and I respect that, but he should not use the system to line his pockets while using vets as well. He has con man associates,a guy named ward and a few others. These men should be known by the public as grifters. They have no respect for veterans who live and died for this great nation. Fuck Christopher lafayelle.

  26. Matthew Jones says:

This is crazy! I actually was in the now-defunct 3/4 ADA in the Deuce! I was there from February of 1992 to January of 1994. Myself and a bunch of my buddies were all Airborne volunteers out AIT at Ft. Bliss. The retention rate was horrible, and they actually went out to Logan Heights to recruit us! We were all in B Battery with CPT Enriquez. I have never embellished one thing about my short military career, but being the Alcoholics Anonymous (AA! funny, no?) has really opened doors for me
