Claude Brown; phony SEAL, phony Vietnam vet

| April 21, 2017

Someone sent us their work on this fellow, Claude Brown from Lodi, California. The local media wrote about him a couple of times. Once in the Lodi News-Sentinel;

“I was in the Navy special program. Now you call them the Navy SEALs, but in those days it was the Navy Special Operations,” Brown said.

Once again in Recordnet;

Brown learned so much about electronics working as a teenager that his instructors had him skip the freshman-level courses. After one year at San Joaquin Delta College, he enrolled at UC Davis, where he attended classes for one year and was then called for duty in Vietnam. Brown, at first a reservist, served as a Navy SEAL after he was called to active duty.

“We went in places that we never were and brought out people who were never there,” Brown said of his experience with the military unit known for secret operations.

The Navy doesn’t remember it like that, though;

He spent about four months on active duty during the Vietnam War, probably just for training – the rest of his six years was spent in the Navy Reserve. He was an Electrician’s Mate, not a SEAL. He didn’t serve in Vietnam, his only award was the National Defense Service Medal.

  1. IDC SARC says:

    NDSM…You fukking ANIMAL!!

    • CC Senor says:

Highly coveted NDSM. They don’t hand those out to just anybody, by golly.

      • IDC SARC says:

I know right, gotta be a tactical mastermind to get one of them there dingle dangles.

      • Mason says:

        True story:

We once found a pile of NDSMs in boxes buried in a drawer in our office. We were literally handing them out to anyone that wanted one. I took two, like any good government employee does when someone says “do you want one of these?” 🙂

  2. Combat Historian says:

“…we went in places we never were and brought out people who were never there…”

No shit Sherlock, thanks for at least telling the truth about never being there; it’s refreshing to find such (unintentional) honesty…

And oh BTW, FUCK YOU, lying fucking poser !!!

  3. Jay says:

    Pizza stain ribbon….hard core.

  4. Ex-PH2 says:

So my dogtags have more AD time than this wad of used kleenex?

Isn’t is just a shame that they didn’t send him to Great Lakes in a cold, nasty northern Illinois winter?

    Where is ex-OS2???

    • Mick says:

I’ll see if I can reach him on the ex-OS2 Support Request Frequency and get him to proceed inbound to engage this latest Stolen Valor poser target.

We have yet another phony SEAL that has been flushed out into the open this morning. Target is easily identified by its extreme corpulence and the ever-increasing pile of Stolen Valor bullshit that surrounds it wherever it goes.

Please proceed inbound ASAP, and expend all on your first pass.

      You are cleared hot.

    • Jay says:

Hell, my boot camp laundry bag has more AD time that this turd.

      • ChipNASA says:

Unless there’s a massive backlash from the TAH community, the only Wall of Insults®™ this guy is going to get is this…

Fuck You, you Lying Jerkoff. I hope you enjoy your Internet Fame.

      • Silentium Est Aureum says:

I’ve wrung more saltwater out of my socks than this fucker sailed over.

  5. 2banana says:

    He did see combat.

    Operation Golden Corral.

    Three tours.

  6. 2/17 Air Cav says:

He phuked up big time on this one, lying about something that could be proved false. He was doing fine with his claim to have spent a week with Walt Disney himself at the then-new Disneyland. Try to prove that false. And he did especially well with his claim that he rode Trigger, Roy Rogers’ horse. (I rather liked that one.) Again, try to prove that false. Vietnam-era Navy Veteran wasn’t good enough, though. He just had to say he was a SEAL–um, Navy Special Operator. And, now, we get to wonder whether Lodi’s man of the century, or whatever he is or was being feted as, earned any of what he claims. I don’t wonder. I will have to assume, based on his SEAL lie, that it’s all bullshit and, if he likes, he can prove otherwise.

  7. OldManchu says:

His Dad should have taken some studies in rubber and plastic technologies also.

  8. Mick says:

    — sigh —

Just what we needed around here.

    Another. Phony. SEAL.

    It never ends…

  9. HT3 '83-'87 says:

Phony SEAL’s have mad game nowadays.

I’d bet Claude Brown has his phony SEAL service in personnel file for many, many years. Grounds for termination, maybe? Grounds for public ridicule and shaming, absolutely. Claude Brown joins a long and very undistinguished list of phonies, fakes, and embellishers. Enjoy your Google fame Claude Brown for being another phony SEAL.

  10. Claw says:

Paperwork to the BCNR for an updated NDSM w/R Device already in the mail.

In his case, the R stands for Remote Reserve REMF.

He is deserving of a BMC Red Forman “Dumbass”.

  11. A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Yet another walking wad of used shit paper claiming to have been a USN SEAL that looks like he never met a jelly doughnut he didn’t like. I’m sure the best part of him ran down his Momma’s leg and stained some car upholstery.

  12. sj says:

A shame. IF the rest of the stuff in the article is true, he’s a smart guy that has done a lot in his profession and in charity. But he had to embellish and lie.

  13. A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Claude Brown SAYS he was in “The Navy Special Program” and I’m sure it included many daily rides aboard a cute little short bus.

  14. AW1Ed says:

Six years and he rocketed all the way up to E-3; impressive!

    • Silentium Est Aureum says:

Actually, made EM3, but still, six years is getting pretty close to HYT for E-4.

  15. HMCS(FMF) ret says:

    Fucking COCKSUCKER

  16. Jeffro says:

    Truely, a man among men.

  17. 26Limabeans says:

    Stuck in a Lodi again.

  18. HMCS(FMF) ret says:

CLAUDE BROWN was a sooper seekrit seal who did time in Viet of the Nam? He “personally knew” Lon Duc Dong and had him some of that delicacy that all of those seekrit snoopers love (Cream of Sum Yung Guy). Spent a long time “in the SHIT” doing all sorts of “seekrit skwirrl stuff that I can’t talk about” and was captured some guy named “charlie” and lived in a tiger cage for 30 days before using his Cub Scout knife to break out with his platoon and make his way back to safety all alone (everyone else was killed and he held his best friend in his arms while he died). Dude balls are so big that he was airdropped by B-52 into Hanoi just to sniff Ho Chi Minh’s jockstrap!!!

Did I get all of the poseur high lights?

  19. 42A Combat Clerk says:

The pollen must be getting to these guys, there have been a rash of people who cant tell the difference between Basic/A school and BUD/s

  20. Green Thumb says:

    • HMCS(FMF) ret says:

The judge from East Lithuania gives Wilted Willy a 10 for artistic merit and a 10 for the use of the word “cocksucker” in a complete sentence!

  22. Former EM1(SS) says:

This is what I get for making fun of OS2 for the spate of ex-OS SEAL fakers, an EM (although he didnt appear to be one for long)

  23. RM3(SS) says:

Rumor has it he has been running his suck for years about his mad skillz in Viet of the Nam. Who knew that he had rewired Ho Chi Min’s desk lamp? What a Hero!

  24. Instinct says:

Can I cock punch this guy on behalf of my dad who WAS UDT during Korea?

  25. NormanS says:

Is my late brother the only USN STG3 who wasn’t a SEAL in Viet of the Nam? It must have been a lot of work running that cruiser all by his lonesome. U.S.S. Jouett (DLG 29)

  26. Mark Duncan says:

Why don’t we just drop him off at Danny’s or McP’s on a Friday night about 10?

  27. HMC Ret says:

We’re talking hard core here. He has the highly coveted and difficult-to-earn NDSM.

Man, you had a good, though not stellar career. Why did you hose yourself with BS claims that are so easily revealed for the BS they are.

I almost feel for you and the void that must exist for you to create a persona to make yourself feel fulfilled. You could look anyone in the eye and proudly proclaim you were a veteran, something most can not claim.

Well, now you’re going to be infamous forever in the annals of Google, where every generation removed from you will read about you and just shake their head. I don’t get it …

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

“He has the highly coveted and difficult-to-earn NDSM.”

They don’t hand those out like candy at a Shriner’s parade, do they?

  28. Mark Lauer says:

“I was in the Navy special program.”

Yeah; the special program where they went to work in the short bus.

  29. Old Scout says:

I think he was a SEAL,you know performed in the circus and his trainer was Cap’n Crunch and saw danger as he jumped thru a flaming hoop.

  30. Duck killer says:

Lodi is full of veterans who have served honorably and some with distinction. This asswipe has been stinking up the town for years. Time for the truth.
