Uniform correction turns violent

| November 11, 2017 | 45 Comments

According to 10News, some veterans in downtown San Diego approached Marc Dominguez and told him that his uniform was incorrect.

However, when the men pointed out the uniform issue, the uniformed man — later identified by police as 42-year-old Marc Dominguez — reportedly became angry, brandished a knife and threatened the two men.

“The guy got extremely hostile and pulled out his knife twice on us. We told him, ‘If you’re going to threaten us, come out here and threaten us like a man,'” said Army veteran Edward Villalobos, whose friend is active duty.

The confrontation turned violent, and police said Villalobos’ friend was stabbed multiple times before others intervened.

ABC7 says that the injured veteran grabbed Dominguez by the throat before he was stabbed.

The stabbing victim’s injuries are not serious, according to ABC7.

Another veteran, Army Staff Sgt. Robert Paladino, told the news folks that he had seen Dominguez wearing the same incorrect uniform two weeks before the stabbing incident.

Police haven’t confirmed Dominguez’ military service, but he’s in custody. I’m guessing that he’s not a veteran since everything on his uniform is wrong, as few things as there are on the uniform. My guess is that he was just trolling for some free food. I wonder if there is a Golden Corral in the neighborhood.

It’s probably not a good idea to confront someone who is going to get all stabby. Dominguez reportedly brandished his knife a few times before he actually employed it. The first time he showed the knife would have been when I would have attracted the attention of the police instead of continuing the confrontation. Stolen Valor is not a capital offense.

First clue: He’s wearing PFC rank on his cover and it’s even uppside down. This asshole never served a day in his life.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that was a good guess. I checked his name in the Army White Pages, and saw a similar name listed as a “PV1”. There is another one there listed as SPC, same name.

At best, he entered IET as a PFC/SPC, stepped on his dick during BCT, and got the boot. Worst case scenario, he didn’t serve at all. Either way, he wouldn’t be able to identify himself as a “veteran”.

I wonder if they tried to ask him some basic questions just to see if he would trip himself of with the responses, like what many of the phonies here do.

Or, there are a few Marc Dominguez’s in the Army and he’s just claiming to be one of them.

Since the police were involved, and he’s shown in the back of a police cruiser, the reporters would’ve been able to verify his name. If he was lying about his name, that would’ve spiced the report up even more. He is 42, so it would’ve been a long time for him to remember the proper uniform wear, especially if his appearance shows a possibility that he had limited IET exposure. If he was out trying to get freebies, he would’ve needed to show identification that matched his name tag.

If he served, and he stepped on his dick causing an early end to his contract, I wouldn’t be surprised that it had something to do with his poor judgment that he displayed in the video, and in the story.

It happened in CA. Good luck getting a concealed carry permit in the Granola State.

Yeah, that doesn’t stop you from carrying. But it does raise the cost of doing so if you have to use your weapon.

      • MSG Eric says:

There are a few “2A” counties where the Sheriff is more than happy to give a CCW, if you’re in the military they even waive the psyche eval. But, you have to live in them and most of the population doesn’t. I have a few friends from counties around Los Angeles (like Santa Barbara) that have gotten CCWs, which means they are good for the entire state.

Unfortunately, when it comes to a knife fight, you need a reach weapon or a projectile weapon. Otherwise, you’re just a piece of meat getting sliced.

It’s a rare thing to go hand’s on with a knife attacker and not getting any of your meat opened up.

      • MSG Eric says:

You’re more likely to be killed at knife range by a knife than a firearm. But it is California.

While I was stationed there, I “could” have my firearm in my truck with ammunition. BUT, you have to keep one or the other locked up and the magazines are considered “part of the weapon” so you can’t have them already loaded.

yeah, one of the basics is yer gonna get cut. How badly you get cut is what determines who wins, but in general walking away unscathed is a fluke.

For some reason I’m doubtful that this was a simple case of “uniform correction” gone wrong, but then I’m a tad bit jaded.

  5. DataDawgDVX says:

Any one uses a knife, It’s best to find a chair, and strike the arm holding the knife. If you’re really skilled, it’s possible to block the arm holding the knife, and then deliver multiple kicks to the knife holder’s groin, aiming for the testicles and or clitoris, depending on gender. The solar plexus will work as well. As long as it’s multiple sustained blows to the sensitive area. However, the actual best thing is if there’s a police officer around, use that police officer…the officer is covered for liability, and those of us who know self defense tactics usually are not.

  6. The Stranger says:

And the fucker is wearing ear buds in uniform. Seriously shitbaggy fellow. When this is all said and done, he’s going to be looking all felonious and shit.

  7. Ex-PH2 says:

This fellow is color blind. Can’t tell the difference between Army green and Marine Corps green.

Isn’t he s’posed to wear Army rank on his sleeve, too?

Why did he leave out the Navy? He could have included the fouled anchor on the cap, to show he honors all services. What a dope!

  8. 26Limabeans says:

The lack of bling is due to lack of funds.

Well, it’s Commiefornia, the authorities will declare this a non-violent assault, apologize to this twatwaffle and look into charging his victims.

  13. Hack Stone says:

What Da Fuq?!!! After Hack finished reading the link to the story above, he clicked on another story attached to that story. From what Hack can glean, cops pulled over a vehicle for a “traffic stop”, occupant bails our And makes his way to a random house to ditch the long arm of the law. It seems that the house may have been a safe house for people being smuggled into the country. Then everyone ends up in handcuffs. Just call this DRG Adventures; Hispanic Edition.

    • Poetrooper says:

Remember it’s Commiefornia so the deputies probably took those ten illegals to in-processing where they were:

      Issued drivers licenses

      Registered to vote

      Signed up for Welfare

Enrolled in the food stamps program

      Given Section 8 Housing

      Enrolled in Medicaid

And lastly, told not to worry about federal agents picking them up as this is a sanctuary state.

    • Skidmark says:

Are you referring to yourself in 3rd person?
lmfao! What does Hack do when arguing with himself? Thanks you 2.

  14. David says:

well, the blouse is buttoned… that is about the ONLY part he got right. I am guessing, based on his having had that nametag made, that this is neither his first nor his last foray into shitbaggery.

  15. JimV says:

    Obviously a retard.

Speaking of Veteran’s Day freebies, I showed my retired military ID to a Starbucks here in the San Francisco Bay area. At first they didn’t know what I was showing them. I explained what the ID represented, no problem.

    • USAF Ret says:

My daughter took me to Dennys yesterday. I felt like an underachiever; 2 Snipers and 3 SEALS. And more Vet hats then you could count all with more Bling the a NORK General.

Daughter (17 y/o I have a gun and know many good places for a shallow grave so you all stay all.) asked me why I did not wear a hat. Told her I did not need 1, I knew what I did. I did show her the coin in my pocket. Only bling I carry; too cheap to buy if I see a friend.

      • Steve says:

2 snipers and 3 seals in the same restaurant….

…see that’s also tge reason I don’t walk around with a cap. Lest someone lump me in with one of those pillocks pretending to be a seal to get a freebie at Denny’s.

        • propsguy says:

Denny’s? Really? There is only one set of circumstances to be in Denny’s…. You are in college, you are drunk, and it’s 3 AM.

Reason 1A…. You are in the military, you are drunk, and it’s 3 AM

Wife and drove by a couple of places which had long lines out the door, wound up paying for our own dinner at a Thai place nearby. They offer hot on a scale of 1-5, we usually order 6. Feelin’ the burn…

  17. Jeff LPH 3, 63-66 says:

No one carries a bull whip anymore? The late great Lash Larue always used his whip to knock a gun or knife out of a bad guys hand. If it was a carry state, someone could have shot the knife out of the guys hand. The Three Mesqueteers and Rough Riders did it all the time.

  18. FatCircles0311 says:

All vets should have a ccw/cpl. They could have taken the trash out.

“The first time he showed the knife would have been when I would have attracted the attention of the police instead of continuing the confrontation. ”

No, the first time he pulled a knife would have been the time I pulled a firearm and told him to stop it
