Travis Schwarzer; Phony Green Beret

| February 3, 2018 | 55 Comments

Our partners at Guardians of the Green Beret share their work with us on this fellow Travis Schwarzer who claimed to have been a Special Forces Sergeant Major when he was ordering coffee, for some reason. He claimed that he was still involved working with Ranger School’s Mountain Phase and at Robin Sage;

But when he was busted he admitted his wrongdoing;

It turns out that he was a Marine with about two years on active duty, exiting the USMC as a Lance Corporal (E-3) not a Sergeant Major (E-9);

  1. 2/17 Air Cav says:

This may be a first, a USMC Vet who pretended to be an Army Ranger. The Schwarzer was not with him.

  2. Sapper3307 says:

Does he have one or two Army service ribbon’s?

  3. A Proud Infidel®™ says:

    Atomic Cocksucker.

  4. Forest Green says:

He missed out on the only thing that was going on while he was an active Marine; Beirut. Probably feeling left out in his old age and in need of a little love.

  5. Tallywhagger says:

Maybe Travis Schwarzer has one of those beds with a canopy over it and dreams about being a paratrooper.

    Pathetic sonofabitch.

  6. Claw says:

Typical example of what happens to people who have to go through life without the NDSM.

  7. HMCS(FMF) ret says:

Hey TRAVIS SCHWARZER… how’s it feel DORKING THE SQUEAKHOLE with your claims of being a Master Sergeant and a Ranger? Couldn’t be proud being a Marine Corps Lance Criminal, had to go BALLS DEEP with the lies.

    Cocksucking assclown…

  8. 26Limabeans says:

    Yeah but the shades!
    Legit operator for sure.

  9. Mason says:

He missed the memo that they’re known as “green berets” for their distinctive GREEN beret.

  10. Jeff LPH 3, 63-66 says:

Holy S–T, no Seal posers this morning. Can this be a new trend for 2018 with phony SF’S and other Spec Ops taking the lead? Tune in Sunday. Same time, same TAH channel.

  11. A Proud Infidel®™ says:

OY VEY, he can’t be a Schwarzer, he’s as white as vanilla cheesecake, what a DREK!

  12. Cpl/Major Mike says:

    I made Cpl/Major in only 4 years!

    • E4 Mafia For Life. says:

I made Command Specialist Major in 3 years, got busted down to Sub Private then finished off as a SPC in the E4 Mafia.
In the cavalry, CSM – not to be confused with Command Sergeant Major – is a lateral/temporary assignment. Most duties revolve around approving sham requests (DD FORM 5HAM).

  13. RM3(SS) says:

Looks like about 13 years total time active and reserve and he left E-3? Real rank rocket there spiffy McNumbnuts.

  14. Ex-PH2 says:

    Schwarezer kein GrĂĽnes Barett ist.

  15. borderbill (a NIMBY/BANANA) says:

Where does this clown live? We have phonies in southern Ariz- I keep my eyes open.

  16. gitarcarver says:

    “I made a colossal mistake….”

You repeated the lies time and time again. This is not a singular “mistake” but rather a pattern of deception.

A “mistake” is an act caused by accident. This was deliberate.

  17. rgr769 says:

Who knew one could be a SF/Ranger instructor by merely donning a patrol cap and a Ranger tee-shirt and being photographed next to a road marker.

  18. CPT11A says:

Transcript of court martial is listed as “not in file”? Everything else that he doesn’t have says N/A. Am I reading too much into this?

  19. Looks to me he is more the free buffet story tellin’ ranger type with that gut protruding out front….many a battle fought with the gastro delights at the local watering hole me thinks along with fictional tales

  20. Combat Historian says:

So we got a twofer here, an embellishing Marine who is also a phony Army Ranger/SF. I don’t think I’ve encountered that combo before. Maybe next we’ll encounter an embellishing Air Force zoomie who is pretending to be a Coastie rescue swimmer…

  21. Just An Old Dog says:

I wonder how he ended up with that other 11 years of service thats not active duty… is there some reserve time not in there? I know that the Total commitment during that time was 6 years… A combination of active/ reserve and inactive starting from the day you entered.

    • OWB says:

No idea if it was the same/similar in the Marine Reserve, but in the ANG, it was often fairly easy to early separate after your initial enlistment/commitment/obligation was fulfilled.

    • E4 Mafia For Life. says:

Back in the Colonial times when I served, enlistment was 8 years.
      1.) Basic + MOS skool
2.) Period of Active Duty or Reserves
3.) Remaining time – if no re-up – in “Individual Ready Reserve” AKA back on the block at Ft. Couch.

  22. JURRASICHM says:

    Forest Ranger?
