Busted memes

So here we are three weeks after the tragic Parkland school shooting, three weeks of getting beat over the head with gun control bullshit from the media and some other illiterate goofballs. This week’s news items aren’t going to go over well with that bunch.

In Maryland, a 17-year-old shooter was put out of action by an armed resource officer. The shooter was in possession of a gun even though he wasn’t legally allowed to possess a firearm.

In Paw Paw, Michigan, another teen was turned into the police for planning a school assault, he was also forbidden by law to possess the guns and bombs that he had assembled. An observant family wasn’t afraid to warn the police about his plans.

In Austin, Texas, a 20-something criminal held the capital city hostage with his homemade bombs until he killed himself with his own creation.

So, to summarize, a police force that wasn’t afraid to act was able to prevent a tragedy, an armed good guy doing what he was trained to do, ended another tragedy, and someone with evil intent didn’t need a gun to kill innocent people going about their daily lives.

No one had to write new laws, there is no gun lobby to blame.

Of course, all three incidents will be soon forgotten because they didn’t bleed enough for the news media to use it against politicians, no crying white mothers to use for legislative dead horse beating. No odd-looking teenagers to exploit on camera.

Busted Facebook memes everywhere. And it’s only Wednesday.

Lesbo Gonzo and Somali Hogg won’t like this.

  2. Jeff LPH 3, 63-66 says:

I mentioned around the same thing on the Austin bomber dead post about the Maryland good guy with a gun incident which Does not meet the narrative of the liberals and lame street media’s sol alinsky’s never let a crisis go to waste.

  3. Atkron says:

One common denominator in each of the cases listed above is that Law Enforcement ACTED.

The Coward, I mean Broward, County Sheriff’s Office supposedly cut a deal with the Broward Schools to not arrest School aged kids to bump statistical numbers up for funding purposes. Makes you wonder how they fudged their Test Scores too, doesn’t it?

The pussy SRO didn’t follow the Columbine Doctrine, which is basically rush in and confront the shooter right away, because most likely you will stop the rampage. How? Well, either by outright killing the fucker…or they will turn the gun on themselves because in most cases they are afraid of confrontation.

    As an aside:

John Burk made an interesting observation on Twitter last night. There was a kid in that Maryland school that just happened to have the CNN telephone number handy, and was able to be put on the air immediately during the school lockdown….someone else looking for their 15 minutes was the general consensus in the comments.

But how sick is it that people are looking to ‘cash in’ on this crap? We need to stop the 24/7 coverage of this stuff. The perpetrators AND now the victims are looking to get fame out of it.

Unfortunately, the tyrants are not interested in Truth – and these busted memes will be conveniently ignored, suppressed, and forgotten.

  5. Ex-PH2 says:

In addition to the reports that law enforcement did what they were supposed to do — stop bad things before they happened — there was not one veteran in any of those events.

And two of them were teens who, I hope, are severely punished for what they did, never mind what they intended to do.

It must really put the LSM’s shorts in a wad when their assumptions make asses of them.

  6. AW1Ed says:

Firearms expert and noted legal scholar Joy Reid opines on tweeter,

Worth noting that if the @NRA had its way, that student who shot two people at his Maryland school would have had access to an AR-15, not just a handgun. Imagine how much more carnage could have been unleashed and the disadvantage that SRO would have been at.

The 17 year old shooter was too young to legally purchase a long arm both by Federal and State laws, much less the Glock he used. I wonder who reminds her to breath?

  7. MCPO NYC USN Ret. says:

    Spot on Jonn!

  8. SFC D says:

Here’s a fun little item I heard this morning. Pretty sure it’ll piss of most of the TAH regulars. It should.
