Hayden; Jade Helm hysteria generated by Russian bots

| May 4, 2018

According to the Dallas Morning News, former CIA director Michael Hayden told TV viewers that most of the hysteria over the Jade Helm conspiracy theory was generated by Russian bots.

Speaking on MSNBC’s Morning Joe as part of a book tour, Hayden, a retired Air Force four-star general who also ran the National Security Agency, said Russians fueled the distrust over the military training exercise in an attempt to influence the American public.

“There was an exercise in Texas called Jade Helm 15 that Russian bots and the American alt-right media convinced most — many — Texans was an Obama plan to round up political dissidents,” Hayden said… Hayden said the Russians have continued to use that strategy, notably on other topics such as NFL players taking a knee during the national anthem and coverage of a meeting at Trump Tower between Donald Trump Jr.; former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort; the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner; and several Russians.

Yeah, well, some of us have been inoculated against foreign bots and refuse to be sucked in.

“Hayden said the Russians have continued to use that strategy, notably on other topics such as NFL players taking a knee during the national anthem…” Bwahahahahahahahah. And this guy would like to be taken seriously? Yeah, and if you play backwards several ESPN segments that aired during 2016 and 2017, you can hear the otherwise subliminal message, “Hate Colin Kaepernick. Hate NFL. Hate Sports Center.”

Jade Helm? I think I dated her in college. She was hot. Hot but crazy. Crazy eyes, you know?

    “Convinced most-many-Texans”

Hardly. I’d like to see his supposed data for that. It wouldn’t of been noticed if the Obama administration hadn’t of already gained a reputation of trying to inflict his socialist government on Texas. That was what people knew to be true.

    • David says:

Funny, most Texans I know thought the whole thing was stupid bullshit. But hell, I only live here…

    • Graybeard says:

Been in Texas for most of my life – born & raised here, raised my kids here, and we’re assisting a number of grandkids in their growing up as well.

I knew of one (1) fellow who was truly concerned about Jade Helm. A nice kid, mostly, but somewhat of a doofus about some stuff.

So, I hearby and officially throw the BS flag on that “most-many-Texans” claim.

But, he is Chair Farce, so…

I was actually hoping to get to see a patrol of some real SF dudes in my back forty or in the awesome creek at the back. I wanted to invite them up to the house for some iced tea and pulled pork. Then take some pictures with the Family and them and thank them for their service before they moved on. 🙂

IMO, the very best coverage of the whole Jade Helm hysteria was by the Duffel Blog:

  9. Ex-PH2 says:

The stories I could write about Jade Helm… so round… so firm… so full of butter spit.

  10. Roh-Dog says:

Does anyone think there is a military stupid enough to invade the U.S. of A.?

  11. AW1Ed says:

A better argument to be made is that Michael Hayden is a Russian bot.

  12. AZtoVA says:

NFL players taking a knee was a Russian Bot Hoax???? Wow, got me on that one.

It’s all meant as a misinformation campaign to keep people from paying attention to their coup being exposed the past few months. Literally it’s something new every day in attempt to overload the American people from demanding consequences for some of the most senior officials in our government having been caught in a coup against th president and some of them still trying to make it happen. I hope president trump has good people that are loyal around him because eventually the deepstate is going to go further.

      • Ex-PH2 says:

Yeah, but FC, what if most of us just don’t pay much attention to them other than pointing and laughing?

I already have information overload this year. I don’t think I can handle much more, unless it’s stamped ‘READ THIS RIGHT NOW!!’

    • rgr769 says:

So Kapernick (sp) didn’t really take a knee and start all that kneeling? Who knew? Those Ruskies really control our news media, even ESPN.

  13. Cacti35 says:

I recall this same type of Paranoia in the 90’s when Bubba Clinton was POTUS. The Militia of Montana had a VHS tape I viewed on the Russian army being amassed on the Mexico-US border. Some times it was the Russkies, some time the UN and the blue helmets. There was grainy video of a a row of tanks waiting to invade. Supposedly there were “concentration camps built across the US to lock up the “true Patriots”. One such location was about 100 miles from where I live. The silliness continued through the Bush and Obama presidency. Now I find out it was the Russians.

    • David says:

Like that TV show on Nostradamus, which ‘conclusively proved’ that Qhaddaffi was the antiChrist….then was re-broadcast a few years latter and “conclusively proved” with the same evidence that Saddam Hussein was the antiChrist.

    • SFC D says:

I saw a conspiracy theory site that showed a satellite photo of a FEMA concentration camp on Fort Huachuca. Pointed out the fenced in areas and small barracks buildings. Funny, it looked just like the Buffalo Corral MWR facility, lots of corrals, barns, and horses.

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

I remember another nutjob conspiracy theory in the mid nineties about Russian Military Equipment stockpiled in Louisiana for a UN takeover of the USA. The equipment really was there, but it was bought and stored in hopes of being sold to a South American Country but the sale never happened and the equipment was scrapped.

  14. AW1Ed says:

I loved the music–never heard it before. But if you are being held in a third world shithole and guns and money are needed to free you, I doubt lawyers will be of much use unless they are skilled trigger-pullers, as well.

          • rgr769 says:

Had a soldier on one of my LRRP teams that insisted on carrying his Thompson SMG on missions (don’t know where he got it). Somehow he managed to scrounge up the requisite number of mags (he had to have 10 for our pre-rigged ammo resupply). So, I let him carry it. Loaded, I think it weighed about 13 lbs.

            • AW1Ed says:

Guess he liked 230 gn. FMJs in size .45, can’t blame him at all.
Anyway, Warren Z’s best known is “Werewolves of London.” I’ll not waste the bandwidth here, but look it up. You won’t be disappointed.

              • rgr769 says:

I don’t recall the bullet weight of the issue .45 ball ammo. I would have preferred he carry a XM177 or an AK-47 like most of his comrades, but we had a company rule one could carry any military long gun within reason that we could draw ammo for. I had a practically pristine East German AK-47 under-folder I carried.

  15. Ret_25X says:

The truth is that Jade Helm conspiracy stories were driven by the butternut squash wing of the loony bin.

    Russians not necessary.

That said; the whole thing could have been avoided if the “most transparent administration ever” had simply been honest about the exercise being part of a concept rehearsal for a larger scale war in SWA to include Palestine.

But there was no way that admin was ever going to be that forthright and honest so we got the butternut squash meltdown.

The only politician in the whole story who was not stupid was the Governor of Texas who called up the TXNG to ensure no butternutters shot at anyone.

What was the role of Russia?

They sat back with popcorn and wodka and laughed at the USA as a bunch of ill prepared hacks ran an ill conceived exercise in front of a bunch of butternut squash IQ level people.

  16. rgr769 says:

Back when Jade Helm was conducted, I commented here that the conspiracy being pitched by Alex Jones and company was pure bunk. These types of exercises have been conducted by Army Special Forces units for over 50 years. I helped liberate the oppressed nation of Pineland back in 1972, and we didn’t put any freedom loving American patriots into concentration camps. In addition to the insurrection in Pineland, which occurs several times a year in North Carolina, there are numerous other special forces exercises conducted outside military bases in the U.S. by Army Special Forces Groups. In five years, I participated in at least six of them.

I saw her in a… movie… once. Jade Helm co-starred. it was… educational.

      • rgr769 says:

Yep. But I think the year I did it at SFOC they may have given it a different name, but it was the same exercise. Ten days runnin, gunnin, and hidin in the woods of the mythical nation of Pineland. I pulled off the most successful ambush ever on that exercise and captured two 82nd ABN troopers and later shot another in the face when rescuing a captured downed pilot. It was da bomb.

    • Tony180A says:

You are spot on Rgr769. We used to do a really cool UW exercise at the Strategic Petroleum reserves in Bayou Choctaw, La with DOE every 2 years. Talk about a hoot imagine Pineland meets the Atchafalaya Basin. I loved it because I’m from that area so You can imagine I was a G Chief from hell! lol Jade Helm was previously known as Roving Sands so as previously stated these types of exercises are nothing new.

  17. rgr769 says:

I think Hayden has had a Russian bot implanted into his brain housing group. It is sad that this political operative for the D-rats once held such a high position in our intelligence service. He has shown his ass and is one of the Deep State conspirators trying to bring down a duly elected president and his administration. He and his co-conspirators have done more to damage the nation than any Russian “bots.”

    • Ex-PH2 says:

Not the Nation. It’s still here and moving along.

It’s the dumbocraps. If you think he wouldn’t turn in any who pointed him in the direction he’s taken, well… they frequently turn on each other, you know.

      • rgr769 says:

Yes they do. I seem to recall a fellow named Robespierre who had that propensity.

        • Hondo says:

As I recall, a guy named Iosif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili was even more prolific at doing in former friends and supporters than Robespierre.

We know him better today as Joseph Stalin.

          • rgr769 says:

Yes, he made ol’ Robie look like an amateur when it came to offing his comrades and former comrades. To be friends with ol’ Joe was frequently the kiss of death. After he killed off most of his enemies, he proceeded to exterminate his friends and supporters who he imagined were now enemies.

        • Ex-PH2 says:

Robespierre met the same fate as those he slaughtered. The “Committee” was tired of him

Joe Stalin? He ordered the execution of 12 of his most senior and most experienced Army officers, including Massiliev, at the start of WWII. He had a standing order that NO ONE, on pain of death, was to enter his bedroom in the morning. They had to wait until he emerged. Unfortunately, he stayed in his bedroom quite late one day, and finally, someone worked up the nerve to enter The Den. Stalin was dead. Cerebral hemmorrhage killed him. And he stayed dead, too.

          • rgr769 says:

That fat fuck Canuck, Michael Moore, was tweeting about what a fabulous person Karl Marx was in celebration of his birthday. Wonder how long before Michael the Hut starts praising old Uncle Joe Stalin on his birthday.

  18. FatCircles0311 says:

Meanwhile deepstate caught trying a coup against the President among other things and were supposed to trust these assholes still? Russia couldn’t manufacture the shit that has been occurring and exposed since president trump was elected. The reality is far more scary and dangerous than any fiction.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

Why do you think he twitters one thing one day, and switches the next day like a saddle bronc? They can’t keep up with him, you know.
