Ohio State grad Kaitlin Marie posted this on her Twitter account;

She got responses like this one from the gun control snowflakes, reinforcing her need for the Second Amendment;

There are more examples of this unwarranted hatred at Liberty Hangout.

The NRA has a new poster gal. She’s much too young for me to mention her shapeliness, especially her legs and sweet behind. I bet her hair smells great and that her skin is soft and smoooooooth. So, I won’t mention those things.

  2. CA_SGT says:

Lol. I can get you an interview if you want Jon. She’s a good friend.

  4. Roh-Dog says:

That’s it. I’m done, heading down to the park to feed the ducks. Can’t do it today, tolerate these commies. Won’t do it.
It is a beautiful rifle tho…

  5. Combat Historian says:

That is some uber-serious trolling and baiting of the marxi-proggy-commie-left, but they seem to fall for it EVERY TIME like the lemmingzombies that they are…

  6. CPT11A says:

We all know that leftists are dim-witted, mentally-unwell farm animals with proclivities for violence, so I’m not surprised by the threats she’s received, nor do I have much to say about them.

What I do feel like saying, although it might be controversial, is that I’ve never really cared for the OC rifle community.

Obviously, people can do what they want, and I’m certainly not scared of someone open-carrying a long gun, and I would never make a half-assed attempt at killing such a person by getting the cops involved. It just seems like a mistake. Is the point of carrying a weapon to defend yourself or to draw attention to yourself? Why would you want people to notice?

When I carry, I don’t want anyone to know. Whether you’re an innocent passerby, a liberal busybody or a complete ne’er-do-well, I want you to think I’m just some random, unremarkable schmo. If you try violence against me, my family, or anyone else, I want your first hint of how lethal I can be to be the click of the safety going off. Which will be much too late to make any difference for you.

I don’t know how skilled this young lady is with her weapon, and I don’t honestly care. Getting preemptively shot at the beginning of an encounter because she immediately registers as a threat isn’t helping anybody.

    • SFC D says:

I concur, CPT11A. Just because the law says you CAN carry your AR openly, doesn’t mean you SHOULD. Love this young lady’s courage and how she just stuck her fingers in the progressive’s eyes. It makes a great photo (and I’m probably enjoying it far more than I should) but openly carrying a longun of any kind just seems to be more grandstanding than anything else.

      • CPT11A says:

Good point, SFC. Leftists have a real hard time seeing the distinction between “can” and “should”, but I think conservatives grasp that a bit better.

      • 2/17 Air Cav says:

Of course she’s grandstanding. You don’t think that she waltzes around slinging an AR, do you? She is countering all of the crap from media hailing young people for rejecting guns and the 2nd Amendment. What’s more, she’s pretty.

        • SFC D says:

100% agreement here, 2/17. I was thinking more of some those “Oath Keeper” types that like to swagger around with an AR. Granted, the 2A is there to counter a tyrannical government, but those guys are just a little too eager to start the fight.

      • desert says:

Isn’t it funny how the anti violence , anti gun groups all of a sudden become “berzerkers” when they see, hear, or talk about guns…the NWO puppets are definitely brain damaaged imho! Go to Russia or China or australia or england or some other gun grabbing country and see how that works out for you next time you are attacked!

    • Jeff LPH 3, 63-66 says:

CPT11A; I agree with you about the OC. I carry concealed which leaves me to be alert and to the left of bang. She stands out like a sore thumb when she walks around like that. She would not know the bad guy/guys but the bad guy would know her. Same thing when I worked for Brink’s delivering valuables. I don’t know who the perps were, but they sure as hell knew who I was with the bulls eye on my back.

    • 5JC says:

Some of the OC crowd do it to draw police attention in the hopes that they police will violate their civil rights thus instigate a lawsuit and legislation and clarification of open carry laws. It is a strategy; but police are more aware of such shenanigans these days.

      Sometimes it backfires as well.

  7. Atkron says:

That conflicted face you make when you’re old enough to be her Dad…

  8. Ex-PH2 says:

Her reference is to the notorious Kent State University shootings of protesters, ordered by Ohio’s then governor in May, 1970.

It was not the US government that ordered that done. If she’s going to use such a reference, she should be more specific.

Personally, I think the “big gun” display is kind of tacky, but that’s just me. Something less obvious would do just as well, wouldn’t it?

    • David says:

Either too many or too few shot. If the Guardsmen were trying to shoot students, they shot poorly. If not trying to hit them, why 4 dead? Either way a massive fail.

      • The Other Whitey says:

One of the four was an ROTC cadet several hundred yards downrange who caught a stray round, if memory serves. The NG had M1 Garands, and bodies don’t stop .30-06 (neither will most trees, car doors, or the average brick wall, for that matter). Be sure of your target and what’s behind it, as they say.

The Kent State incident was bad all around. The “peaceful protesters” were a violent mob who should have been dispersed long before it went that far, the NG guys were nervous and running on no sleep, lots of bad calls on all sides. Also, the famous photo of a girl wailing over the body of a dead student was found to be faked, as several versions surfaced of the screaming girl in the exact same pose with different people walking in the background, none of whom seem the slightest bit concerned about the supposedly-dead kid on the lawn.

Still, I like that she invoked the incident. The lefties like to use it so much, I can only imagine how much they hate it being logically thrown in their faces.

      • SSG Kane says:

This is one of the few conspiracy theories I believe.

The whole event was a setup and organized to provoke the government into doing exactly what they did, shoot the protesters.

The burning of the ROTC building was a planned event, designed to illicit a military response.

Kent state protestors were armed with various pistols, bats, etc.

Rounds were fired by protestors, although I don’t believe they were fired at the National Guardsmen.

As a response 60 plus rounds were fired, injuring 9 (if I remember right) and killing 4. And the commies got what they wanted.

Takes off the tinfoil hat and walks away from the keyboard.

      • Anonymous says:

Just shot “at” the advancing protestors, not aiming. Half of casualties (incl. dead) were bystanders.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

I have had questions about the whole thing for a long time. The students who were shot were not in the crowd of protesters. They were simply crossing the campus to go to classes.

The protesters had set fire to the ROTC building, which was going to be demolished, anyway, and interfered with firefighters who had been called to put out the fire.

There was no reason at all to even bring the National Guard to the campus, but the mayor of Kent, OH, Leroy Satrum asked for the NG> Most of the blame for the mess is on the governor of Ohio James Rhodes who issued the order to shoot.

There was also looting going on during those four days of protests, so it’s my personal opinion that whoever actually shot into the crowd wasn’t any of the Guardsmen, but rather, someone trying to make it worse.

I wonder if she needs training with strip clips 😉

Honey lamb might need some flash suppressors if she takes her little friend to the beach!

A fine young lady and upstanding citizen. That’s all my wife will let me say.

  12. 26Limabeans says:

Good news from Kent State for once…

  24. Jeff LPH 3, 63-66 says:

I have a pic of Israeli women standing in a coffee bar in civies with slung rifles. I can copy the pic okay but it will not paste on the comment window. Works on my email but not this site. As most of you know, I am not computer savvy. This high tech stuff is killing me and I am more comfortable with my Smith Corona typewriter.

    • AW1Ed says:

Jeff, if you don’t have admin/edit privileges you can’t post pics, among other things, here. Recommend you email it to Jonn; maybe he’ll post it, maybe he won’t.

    • Docduracoat says:

It seems like half the Israeli army is made up of supermodels!
photos of gorgeous female Israeli soldiers carrying weapons are everywhere on the net.

  25. Rosalee Adams says:

Oregon is a CC state, but Umpqua CC remains a ‘gun free zone’ ie a shooting gallery despite the fact that it was the scene of slaughter in ’15 when 8 were killed and another 8 wounded.

  26. AW1Ed says:

Kaitlin was on Fox and Friends this morning; she’s just as bright and pleasant as one could ask for. And for the record, that’s an AR-10 she’s sporting, but she wishes for full-auto.

  27. Redacted1775 says:

Nothing like liberal trolls attacking someone for exercising her Constitutional rights while at the same time validating her need to exercise her Constitutional rights. I’d say the trolls literally can’t get any dumber but they’d see it as a challenge. A .308 can make an awful mess…

  28. Docduracoat says:

What a pretty young woman open carrying an AR 10!
    That is a great picture!
I am certain she has a great future ahead of her.
Hopefully she will appear in the gun press as a shooter/ spokesperson for a gun company.
Open carry is mostly a political statement.
I see it as a way to normalize guns for the average citizen.
If they daily see people open carrying guns in Walmart, grocery stores, and coffee shops, then gun culture becomes normal.
