Phony Marine Alex Wolpert

| May 24, 2018 | 112 Comments

Last week, we talked about Alex Wolpert, the fellow who confronted an aging Laotian man and accused him of stolen valor. The Sacramento Bee reports that Wolpert, who claimed he was a Marine, has admitted that he was not a Marine;

Wolpert gained public notoriety after a viral video of the incident was shared on Facebook on May 13 by someone claiming they were posting it on behalf of their parents, who live in Sacramento.

“I’m a Marine, I fought for my country,” Wolpert says in the video, pointing at the elderly man. “And this m———– is going to wear that s—?”

Wolpert said he comes from a military family but admitted to lying about his status as a U.S. Marine.

“I was caught up and emotionally upset,” he said.

Poor little fella. Snake actually tracked down and verified that Wolpert’s father was in the Army. Wolpert was born at Fort Sill, Oklahoma;

Wolpert said he was currently taking classes at a rehabilitation center in light of the incident. He and his family have received death threats, he said.

They always claim that they’re getting death threats. When I see someone being arrested, I’ll believe it. There aren’t enough classes to get that BS out of Wolpert’s system.

    Fuck tard…..

the dude was wearing a camo tshirt. Per his daughter, he DID serve in Vietnam, for Laos on the US side. Should allow the guy one free kick in the junk for mental anguish and pain and suffering.

  2. CSM97 says:

TDY is a finance function versus a personnel function.

Medals can be awarded Post DD-214 issuance.

People need to learn military practices on this blog.

  3. C2Show says:

Death threats are the new “woe is me”, hoping that people will go away.

Guy is mentally retarded, probably be best if he goes into hiding.

  4. Doc Savage says:

“Wolpert said he was currently taking classes at a rehabilitation center”

    How do you rehabilitate stupid?

  5. Jeff LPH 3, 63-66 says:

    Oh well, business as usual.

  6. Non Cedo Ferio says:

How the hell do you get caught up in it if you knew it wasn’t true to begin with? Is he saying that In the moment he believed his own lie and got upset by it. It really makes no sense I mean who does that?

Let’s see, he looks like the product of at least three generations of inbreeding, an obvious IQ at least ten points lower than pocket lint, triple-chinned with less appeal than fresh dogshit on the sidewalk, yep, I think he’s the inbred offspring of that fake Beirut Marine in Oklahoma that should have stayed a cumstain on the back seat upholstery of a rusted out 1968 Dodge Dart!

  9. OldManchu says:

Bullies are always a victim after they get called on it.

  10. Combat Historian says:

“I was caught up and emotionally upset,” he said.

This douche doesn’t need rehabilitation classes, he just needs to be relentlessly mocked for a prolonged indefinite period…

  11. Ex-PH2 says:

Wolpert is an attention-seeking moron with a brain the size of a pea.

    CSM97 is Wolpert’s twinbrotherfromanothermother.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

And my moden is fritzing and spitzing, which means I need a new one – tomorrow earliest avaialble. PFFFFFttttt!

  12. Stoutguy says:

When I saw this story on the news, his actions had me thinking he wasn’t really a Marine. So I expected to see this story on TAH.

  13. sbalm says:

Does anyone else see the irony in all of this?

Wolpert resorts to stolen valor to combat what he perceives as stolen valor.

Wolpert was concerned that Laotian man was getting “free stuff” when actually the Laotian man was entitled to “free stuff” more than Wolpert being that the Laotian man was an actual veteran.

If Wolpert had an issue with a business honoring veterans and giving them freebies, he should have taken it up with the business directly.

  14. Carlton G. Long says:

If Wolpert would stop wearing white t-shirts, people would quit poking him in the stomach.

  15. Snotcrow says:

So this is a case where a non-veteran, that lies of being a veteran – accuses a combat veteran for wearing something that isn’t a piece of uniform or claiming any sort of valor.

    That’s kinda mental tongue twister.

  16. Daisy Cutter says:

Hey Wolpert – what’s it like being stupid?

Is it kind of like being high all the time?

  17. OWB says:

This fool just needs to sit quietly in a corner and not bother the rest of us.

Don’t care about any classes you may or may not be taking at a rehab center, junior college, or at day care. It just doesn’t matter. Get over yourself, Alex. And stop lying. Having been an Army dependent affords you no special status. At all. Except that you should have learned a little bit about honor as one.
You, Alex Wolpert, are a failure.

    Now, go do something constructive.

  18. Sparks says:

    Still a goofy bastard.

  19. SFC D says:

I still think he’s got a circuit breaker tripped somewhere.

  20. Daisy Cutter says:

WOLPERT: When this class is over, do we get any kind of certificate?

CLINICIAN: No, a new attitude should be enough for you.

WOLPERT: But I need proof that I attended and got something out of it.

CLINICIAN: Look into your own heart – there you will find the answers.

WOLPERT: I just don’t want to get sued. That’s what my heart is telling me right now. I’m having severe emotional reactions and outbursts to other people getting free stuff.

CLINICIAN: I’m sure we can type up some memo of program completion if you think that will help. Any more questions?

WOLPERT: Are these donuts for us and do you validate parking?

  21. NHSparky says:

He needs to be shoved back into his mother’s womb so they can finish the abortion properly this time.

  22. 3/10/MED/b says:

Where did CSM97 go? TDY perhaps?

  25. sbalm says:

I found this on the internets…

  26. 5JC says:

If he can get a smart friend to take the ASVAB for him and maybe purge for a couple of weeks before his physical I don’t see why he cant go ahead and ship out to basic training and do a few weeks there. Hell, he might even turn that 250lbs of chewed bubble gum in to a human body and even finish basic training, serve his country for real and find out exactly what the fuck is wrong with himself. Life is really about the journey, not how stupid you were yesterday.

  27. A Proud Infidel®™ says:

I see that he has his mouth open in that pic and automatically assume that he has “Blower’s Cramp”.

  28. PLASTIC DUCK says:

Don’t soldiers often receive death threats? Did diddums forget that when a bullet heading your way has your number on it it’s yours to keep? Is there a new battlefield tactic to blow kisses at the opposition?
