    Side question.
What the hell is up with that elongated baret? Seems awful long and I’ve never seen a baret drooped down that far. Is this something new the rangers are doing?

    • OldManchu says:

Possibly a smaller diameter head so more material to drop down? I was wondering the same thing.

Definitely not small enough head to fit in a mason jar though, which explains why he went Ranger Regiment instead of becoming a Marine. 🙂

      RIP SFC!

Looks turned left and tilted to the right so that may make it look kinda off but it does look way too large. Maybe he got to the official picture and either forgot it or had to borrow another because his was worn from active duty.

First of all, RIP Ranger !

I knew guys who wore berets [before EVERYONE got one!] similar to his. I’m more concerned with the HAIRCUTS on Ranger Bat. troops these days ! LOL
I know some old 1SG’s/SGM are stroking out with the length of hair.

Rest in peace Brother. God be with your family.

  13. 2/17 Air Cav says:

SFC Celiz was married to his high school sweetheart, Katie and they had one child, an eight-year old girl. He spent two years at The Citadel before joining the Army. By all accounts he was a man who liked to joke around and had a reputation as a protector of lesser beings, both as a youngster and a man. Many hundreds of people attended his funeral service on the 18th.
