“I Don’t believe you, but even if I did it would not matter at this point.”

You might have seen something about this issue in the news:

A number of Hollywood stars have come to the defense of Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her at a high school party in the 1980s.

The video, produced by the progressive group MoveOn, features “women from all walks of life,” including actresses America Ferrera, Julianne Moore and Gabrielle Union.

This is sooooooooo  moving.  Get your hankies out.

You people can not imagine the things I would be accused of from my High School days.  If the story about me showing up for a date with a Weedeater, some KoolWhip, and a Live Chicken ever surfaces…I didn’t know the girl was allergic to feathers.  Honestly.

Yenz can reach out to empathize with this “survivor” at this LINK.

That deck of cards was not marked. Those girls just didn’t know how to play poker.

I’m sure the Hollyweird starlets are now rushing to make a video supporting Karen Monahan against the violent abuser Keith Ellison…or may be not…

    Roy Moore all over again?

Come up with something that is most likely unprovable and without substantial evidence and let her fly!!!

The disinformation is real. A classic PSYOP but the Left Party.

[/inb4, the victims!!! I truly have sympathy for victims(if real) but it is hard to accept this shit as fact and there be no reciprocity to the accuser. If a woman or man accuses someone else of misconduct[harassment, rape, abuse, etc] and is proven a false accusation, that should be a felony. Destroying someones lifestyle is equal to raping someones quality of life, just a thought]

  5. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

I had fumbling sex with a few high school classmates and even was fortunate enough to get a nice handjob at a church retreat for my high school church group.

I’m pretty sure I was the aggressor during those encounters, but none of those girls told me to stop or later claimed I harmed them….we are friends on Facebook these days…

I was mostly an idiot in high school, I did really well grade wise but I didn’t know shit about shit when it came to stuff that mattered. During the late 60s and early to mid 70s none of us really knew shit about shit in school.

During the spring of my junior year I did have sex with a divorced lady in our neighborhood whose kids were younger than me in school and for whom I did some yard work…she was drunk at the time and was not…today that might be problematic. After that event she told me she was drunk and probably shouldn’t have done it with me, but she wanted to do it again when she was sober…so there’s that. I didn’t really know what to think when she told me shouldn’t have, she sure seemed willing at the time and was an active and enthusiastic participant. By today’s standards I might have raped her I guess because maybe she had no ability to consent…I don’t really know…all I do know is that we had an affair during my senior year in high school and the several months before I left for basic training and I really enjoyed her company and she mine. When I came home and joined the National Guard we got together a few times and realized it was no longer a thing…we stayed friends till she passed about ten years ago…no one in her family or mine knew and I still see one of her sons regularly as a friend and I will never tell him.

All of us have some teenage story that’s wildly inappropriate either sexually or potentially criminal unless you were a really boring kid who did jack shit except school and then military.

I don’t know what Kavanagh did or didn’t do, but I know that this story about Kavanagh smells worse than the New York Ship and Sanitary canal and has more holes than an old school pasta sieve. It seems quite inappropriate to destroy this guy over a maybe. Were there two or three or ten more accusers I would be inclined to think there was something “there” there. But right now I’m thinking it’s totally inappropriate to destroy a career over misdemeanor unwanted touching from almost forty years ago.

    • Martin Cote says:

Hey, Veritas. Very well expressed and true to ‘real life.’ Like, none of us would pass the pristine past exploration, if it was done with the standards of today, which aren’t really standards, but a lynching crew! Thanks for your insight!

This mess got me to recollecting my own sins of the flesh. I started to make a list of all the girls and their names.
How sad that some of them escape me.
Not the sins, the names. The sins are forever and can be played back at will.
        In color. With sound.

Why can’t Balsey Ford do that?

  6. 2/17 Air Cav says:

I watched the video. It’s enlightening. I saw one who might be a transsexual but I saw no midgets in there. Those petty observations aside, the group’s detailed presentation explaining why they all believe Ford and why Kavanaugh should not be confirmed convinced me. I’m in. Cripes. Seriously, this is what passes as thoughtful, persuasive speech nowadays. Bunch of mindless morons. It’s actually funny. They each had about five words to recite and still needed cue cards. Tards.

    • 5th/77thFA says:

“and still needed cue cards” you noticed that too, huh? Nothing like everybody reciting from the same playbook. Get the whole choir singing from the same page. Well it is hollyweird, where there has been nothing original or worth really watching since Gunsmoke went off the air. Well, maybe Penny in her tank top and Hello Kitty Shorts.

By and large all feminists are ugly. It just seems to be the way it works.

      • 2/17 Air Cav says:

“It just seems to be the way it works.” No, no no. It’s not coincidence. They are not allowed to be attractive. Ugly and smelly are their uniforms. Some get fake glasses to help the image. All stop shaving and plucking. Hair does whatever it wants. And they practice their manly handshakes and their cowboy walk incessantly. There must be a handbook on this somewhere.

  8. David says:

Everyone keeps saying “it all goes to his CHARACTER” – worst case, he tried getting a little aggressive once and his pattern of behavior since then seems unblemished. Could be he actually did try it, got scared off, and never did it again. But when her only supporters all say she never told them, no one ever heard anything definitive personally, she remembers no real details (except for two purported witnesses who both deny anything of the sort ever transpired!) – her story reeks. Now if he were a known rake like Teddy Kennedy or Bill Clinton, with histories of multiple misconducts – maybe. But this guy is ‘way to straight-arrow to even have a beer with.

The only reason this “magically appeared” is because Trump nominated him.

I’ve been saying it since he was elected, if Trump found a cure for cancer, the left would go crazy exclaiming “how dare he cure cancer! Think of all the doctors and scientists he just put out of their jobs! What about their families? How are they going to pay their mortgage with no job because of his selfishness!”

Some might even stick up for cancer as the victim, like they did for MS-13….

Back in my day, we called the fraternity boys “frat-rats.” The sorority girls were affectionately referred to as “soror-whores.” Many of these ladies, and I use the term loosely, were only available to the frat-rats, which made us non-rats dislike them even more.

      • 2/17 Air Cav says:

        Working Definition

A trauma-informed investigation is one which is conducted in response to a report of sexual assault, lodged by a woman. It’s special because every such victim is presumed to be traumatized. Only a liberal female may conduct the investigation and all statements made by the victim, including the identity of the perpetrator, are to be treated as gospel truth. Corroboration of a victim’s account is not needed and if anything a witness states is contradicted by any other source (e.g., that she was hospitalized but the hospital has no record of her) then the erroneous statement is simply to be put aside as spoiled fruit of the trauma, with no affect on the veracity of the victim. Additionally, if the perpetrator (not called suspect in a trauma investigation) does not insist on his due process, then none shall be accorded him. He shall be treated as guilty, regarded as guilty, and the media are to be informed of his full name, area of residence, and place of employment. If a former of the armed services, whether of this country or any other, he shall be referred to as Veteran in making the notification to the media.

Considering that the octopus is one of the more intelligent animals in the Animal Kingdom, and that it can willingly figure out how to get from one tank to another without instructions, or open a stuck jar to get a piece of fish, referring to the blob known as Chthulhu is an affront to all octopi.

And they might enjoy letting him know it, too. They do enjoy hugging an enemy’s face, as I recall. And getting out of screwtop jars.

“Cunthulu” Fisrt, (cough. cough.)that’s not nice. Second it’s the funniest thing I have read yet today!

    • LC says:

When did I blame both sides? I simply said absent any evidence, he deserves the benefit of doubt, with the implication that I’d be up for allowing several days of investigation to occur.

We’re nominating someone to a lifetime appointment to the SC. If there’s nothing there, Feinstein and Ford look like idiots, the Democrats suffer and he gets confirmed. If there is, then President Trump nominates another conservative, and they’ll get confirmed. There is no realistic scenario where the Democrats can delay an appointment until the end of President Trump’s term. He will get to appoint someone to the SC.

Due diligence given the allegations isn’t the end of the world.

      • 2/17 Air Cav says:

Okay, let me ask you this, LC, or anyone else who wants to chime in. Assuming for the sake of this question that the essence of Ford’s allegation is true, that she was pushed onto a bed and groped by the nominee 35 or 36 years ago. What bearing on the nomination would (or should) that have on the nomination today? It’s a question I have heard no one ask.

        • 26Limabeans says:

          None. They were not adults.
          Continue the process and vote.

        • LC says:

Honest answer? I’m a bit torn on the issue of Ford’s allegations, too – on the one hand, if it were my daughter, and if she felt (this isn’t clear, mind you) that it was an attempted rape, I wouldn’t exactly say, “Eh, boys will be boys!” and let it go. And I hope to fuckin’ god you wouldn’t either.

If it is just two drunken kids showing poor reading of each other and poor judgement, then I can’t exactly find him at fault for anything major. That’s the whole fuzzy line between responsibilities which, unfortunately, society right now does tend to lay entirely at the man’s feet.

Either way, I hope there’s some investigation, and I’ll be happy to see either side pay a political price – Republicans if he’s had this in his closet and they knew, or Democrats if this just looks like pure grand-standing. The thing is, I don’t know, and you don’t know, which is true – so a few days of investigation doesn’t strike me as too much.

I’ll add that another potential issue is that, like Stolen Valor, if there’s merit to the sexual assault / whatever you want to call it… it’s pretty unusual for it to be a one-off sort of thing. In fact, when this all broke, some (anonymous) DC lawyer said the only thing that surprised him was it was a high school thing and not a summer intern thing. Why not give it some time to let things play out? Again, if he’s clean, great – confirm him, and lambast the Democrats for what amounts to pathetic tactics or poor judgement. If the opposite, do the same for the Republicans.

Either way, President Trump is going to get a pick on the SC. Hell, even if he’s somehow impeached, then President Pence gets the pick. There’s no way this ends without a conservative SC pick. It’s just a question of the character of that pick.

          • Ex-PH2 says:

Have to ask out of curiosity, more than anything else:

Do you EVER shut off the drivel faucet, LC?

          • 2/17 Air Cav says:

LC. I would have gladly thanked you for answering the question but you didn’t.

          • MAJ Arkay says:

Investigate what, exactly? She said something, he said it’s not true. Named witnesses say either it’s not true or they weren’t there and so they don’t actually know.

No witnesses, no DNA, not a scrap of evidence. What would you have anyone investigate?

Furthermore, no LEO ever investigates something so vague, when it’s decades after the statute of limitations expired. It accomplishes nothing and wastes taxpayer dollars.

Couple that with the simple fact that FBI has completed numerous background investigations on BK, and nothing of this sort ever EVER turned up. The FBI is many things, but it does really good BIs. Ask me how I know…

As a retired investigator, I can tell you there’s nothing whatever to investigate. There’s one woman making an unsubstantiated claim — one that can NEVER be substantiated. The only thing that it does is sully the reputation of a man whose public record is utterly clean.

This allegation is nothing more than character assassination by the Democrats. They’ve done it so many times that we know exactly when they’ll trot out their paid liars.

I hope and pray that BK does not decide to chuck it — he needs to be a Justice, for all our sakes.

      • NR Pax says:

Due diligence has already been done. If there had been a scrap of truth to this woman’s story, it would have come out years ago.

If this is such a real issue, why did Feinstein hold onto it for several months? If due diligence was such a concern, it could have come up back in July and the witness could have been anonymously questioned about her account.

        • Ex-PH2 says:

It’s a power trip and not much else. Drop a zero effect faux pas “bomb” on this proceeding and have everyone chasing their tails. Delay the proceedings, tighten the iron fisted grip on everything even though you have nothing at all, because the mid-term elections are coming up, and you think you’re going to win your seat again.

“Due diligence” isn’t the concern. It’s a cover for a control freak’s failing power trip.

Marriage pre-dates Christianity by thousands of years. The Aboriginal people of Australia have a strong marriage tradition, a society that dates back at least 30,000 years.

In China, the tradition of weddings goes back to about the third century B.C. Here, too, there’s a tradition of gifts and a reception following the wedding. Apparently, Christians didn’t really invent the post-wedding party, either.

She was half reclined in one of those canvas-covered, striped chairs. She lowered her sunglasses and smiled, uncrossing her long legs at the ankle as I drew closer. As she slowly parted her thighs, I could feel the excitement welling up inside me as…and then the alarm went off. I got up, got dressed and went to school.

A former classmate of Christine Blasey Ford has changed her tune a bit after initially stating, “This incident did happen” in a Facebook post about Ford’s allegation that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in high school.

You can see a screenshot of Cristina King Miranda’s Wednesday post, which has since been deleted, here; in it, Miranda says she knew Ford, Kavanaugh, and Kavanaugh’s friend Mark Judge (who Ford says was in the room during the alleged assault) in high school and describes a “completely out of control” drinking environment.

She says she was one of the more than 200 alumnae of Maryland’s Holton-Arms School who signed an open letter supporting Ford, and that “many of us heard about [the Ford-Kavanaugh incident] in school.” But in a new interview with NPR, Miranda denies knowing whether the assault happened.

“That it happened or not, I have no idea. I can’t say that it did or didn’t,” Miranda says. “In my [Facebook] post, I was empowered and I was sure it probably did [happen]. I had no idea that I would now have to go to the specifics and defend it before 50 cable channels and have my face spread all over MSNBC news and Twitter.” She says she played soccer with Ford and that she still supports her and believes her, but she wasn’t expecting to be contacted by staff from the Senate Judiciary Committee after posting on Facebook.

She says that if the committee asks to interview her, she will decline. She also posted on Twitter (though her account appears to have since been deleted) that she does “not have first hand knowledge of the incident” Ford describes.

But, she tells NPR, she remembers a “buzz” going around involving a serious incident at a party involving students from her school and Kavanaugh’s school.

This article originally appeared on Newser: Ford’s Classmate Backtracks After Saying Attack ‘Did Happen’

    • rgr769 says:

Actually, this Miranda woman who lives in Mexico. was not a classmate with the accuser; she was a year two behind her in this all-girl exclusive prep school. Her story about the buzz at school totally conflicts with the few facts claimed by the accuser, despite Miranda admitting she has no first person information about the alleged incident.

  31. Cthulhu says:

    This is not complicated.

Nobody really knows what happened. Anyone deciding right now who they believe is CHOOSING to do so without sufficient evidence.

Everyone who is identified to have been at that party needs to subpoenaed and forced to testify in front of a congressional investigative committee or at the very least under oath to investigators.

I don’t care if they have nothing to add or no knowledge of the event.

Let them say so under oath.

It says a great deal that the only witness known to have been in the room has said he is not willing to testify.

Congress has the power to subpoena him and force him to testify as a witness.

The fact that the GoP is against doing any of this SAYS A HELL OF A LOT about how much faith they have that Kavanaugh is clean on this.

It is also a continuation of the nonsense that is undermining the credibility of the Supreme Court on both sides of the aisle it is being stacked with dishonest political operatives instead of non-partisan judges.

I am tired of people putting their own ambition and their political party over the interests of the United States and the American people.

Oh shit, I forgot the capital P.

Shana: Your last line does not redeem all of the trash that preceded it in your comment. I would explain to you your profound errors and your lack of grasp on a few very fundamental items related to due process, but it would do no good. You’re lost.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

Yeah, sure, CHthulhu, you holier-than-thous scheissevogel, you just have to put YOUR special interests ahead of the REAL truth, don’t you?

Why don’t YOU tell us – ALL OF US, dorkwad – what happened the first time YOU groped someone, dingaling? Was it a boy or a girl? That alone should be interesting. When did it happen? Where did it happen? Did you get groped back or slapped?

Answer the questions, asshole. Inquiring minds want to know.

This entire business is an inflated piece of nonsense over something that may or may NOT have happened nearly 40 years ago, and we are supposed to believe that this bimbo, who went to a girls’ high school that was, per her school yearboioks PARTY CENTRAL, is completely innocent in this lurid tale of who did what to whom?

Give me a fucking breaks, you pompous ass! Name the dates and times someone groped YOU when you were a teenager. Or were you dropping roofies in girls’ drinks at frat parties so that you could get a fuck and no one would tell tales about you?

Get over yourself, you pompous ass!

“I am tired of people putting their own ambition and their political party over the interests of the United States and the American people.”

Then why do you continue to do it??

He doesn’t even recognize the irony (or hypocrisy) of his statement.

From the day of his nomination to the present, he’s been subjected to partisan attacks like no other.

Tell me, Scooter, how would YOU stand up to such scrutiny?

    • Ret_25X says:

Let’s take your assertions in order.

      1. False. Everyone knows what did not happen. That you are too partisan to believe what your enfeebled brain is telling you is a choice you make.

      2. You do not care if the truth is presented as long as your side wins. Which you believe will be the first Tuesday in November. You are wrong about that as well.

      3. Congress does not have the power to subpoena citizens for any reason.

      4. The GoP is well aware that this is nothing but SOP from the party of Marx. There is no reason at all for them to play ball with them. So actually, it says a hell of a lot about YOUR team. You know, team tyranny.

      5. Yes, it is a continuation of the nonsense undermining the SCOTUS. A nonsense that was started by the party of hate with false accusations about Robert Bork and continued to this day.

      6. You don’t care about ambition or political party for us, just for you. Your desire to have free stuff outweighs all else or you would not be a shill for the party of racism.

Even Larry Flynt wants no part of Chrissie the Freak.

If Brett had wanted to get laid, he could have done a lot better than some mousy looking frump whose central theme in life was being born to wealth. Hell, almost any of the Kennedy-ginas would have been an easier tryst and none of them would have “resisted”.

FWIW, I lived in that general area during the period of the allegations. As it were, the plaintiff looks a lot like a dumpster queen I remember from a stretch of River Road. And she was not worth $20, back then.

    • Hack Stone says:

River Road? Would that be in the area where it intersects with Wilson Lane, former location of a proud but humble woman owned business that sells software to the federal government?

  33. Ret_25X says:

Isn’t it ironic that a 3 name jackboot leftist is supported by other 3 name jackboot leftards?

I can always predict the vile speech I will hear when a woman has 3 names.

It is as bad as when a man has a name like J. Edgar…
