Justin Paisley Phony Marine and his Cacophony of Counterfeit Canine Credentials.

| November 8, 2018

We first posted about Justin Paisley HERE on the case sent to us by militaryphony.com.  It seems one of the reporters we had talked to followed up on his case.

A K9 trainer in Parker who claims to have served two decades in the military has no military records at all.

That name was Justin Paisley, owner of Elite K9 Dynamics in Parker.

Online reviews were positive and according to their website they specialize in “positive reinforcement training” and are “veteran owned and operated”

“He had just tons and tons of certifications that he brought with him and all of this military training he said he had. He was training the military K9’s, police dogs, and he was a member of the military police,” she said.

Mercer signed up, paying $600 for six sessions.

As her time ended, she raised concerns about the lack of specialty training.

“I would explain to him kind of what I needed from her and that I had started some of the training. He just never came through with it,” Mercer said.

She says Paisley told her it would take more time so she signed up for six more sessions. Half way through she noticed a change, but not the kind she was looking for.

“Presley jumped right out of the car and she saw him right away and she jumped right back in the car with her tail tucked and she’s never done that before… ever,” she said.

After cutting ties with Paisley, she learned he might not be who he claimed.

A retired 20-year veteran of the Marine Corps who worked as a “military police officer with the specialty of 5812, which is a K9 handler” he wrote online.

Paisley has also made several posts on social media about the difficulty attending memorials saying, “I lost many fellow comrades in combat.”

Using a birth date we found on public records associated with his name and business, we asked for service records — both the National Archives and the Department of the Navy say they do not exist.

“Did you ever question that any of it was false?” CBS4 reporter Karen Morfitt asked Mercer.

“Yeah, you know there were some questions,” she responded.

A background check through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation show run-ins with police almost every year since 1991 until 2003 at which time the Department of Corrections says he was in prison.

The dog training organizations he claims to have certification from say they had no record of a Justin Paisley.

Multiple calls, emails and a visit to the address listed on his state business license went unanswered.

Mercer is out hundreds of dollars and having to retrain Presley. Her story is a lesson for others.

“People aren’t going to be getting, you know, what they are paying for and their dogs may be abused and they are going to have to undo a lot of things that he’s done to them.”

For some reason Justin Paisley does not want to talk to me… I am beginning to think its because of you people.  Much respect to Karen Morfitt  for doing a follow up on this clown.  Feel free to say a kind word about her defending Valor from Vultures.   I think she has a Book of Face or try HERE

    Kudos to Karen.
We need more reporters lurking here for clues about posers.

^word^ And a Damn Skippy to boot. Gnawed on this POS in the previous post, justin paisley fake dog abusing POS. If y’all haven’t, you need to pop over to Ms. Karen’s links. I don’t spacebookinyourpageface but I did hit the CBS4 Link. She’s a cutie pie and I dropped some words of praise on her. Maybe her boss will recognize what they have and put a little something extra in her take home $. If we didn’t do a Continent of Insults on POS Valor Thief Paisley, I make a motion that we do so. Do I have a 2nd?

Do rape kits for human on canines exist? If so I wonder what the costs are?

I would like to donate three.

When He was originally outed by MP, I took a particular interest in this clown because he posted derogatory things about TAH and MP on his Facebook – it was the usual SV fallbacks, “this is a scam site to steal your identity” and links to a complaintsboard.com posting written by some other SV clown etc. He also told all his friends not to bother looking into this as it was just a smear job by his competition. A lot of his friends replied that they believed him and this all sounded fishy. It was infuriating.

When the news story came out, he cleaned his FB profile to remove any USMC related pictures of himself and then posted a very lame excuse about his mugshot picture. Meanwhile, he is still rocking the lie on his work site and elsewhere. This guy is a professional bullshitter.

Anyway, I sent a quick FB post to Karen Morfitt to thank her for bringing this to a wider audience. She responded almost instantly, which surprised me. I asked if they looked into his veteran license plates. She said that yes, the Colorado Dept. of Revenue has started a formal investigation. Bad news for him. She also told me that they think he skipped town to avoid the the investigation and possible charges.

A phony GySGT tough guy who hides like a roach when the lights are turned on? Friends, meet the real Justin Paisley.

This man served his country and wore a uniform for almost 20 years…he served time and his uniform was striped…

  6. River Rat RVN says:

It the authorities would take this type of FRAUD more seriously and start locking these wannabes up, then we might just see less of it.

And, as a real MP (95B-40) who actually served in Vietnam and have the documents to prove it, this is particularly maddening.

  7. AW1Ed says:

He was a walk-on in the first BFTP. Check here:

Looks like he pulled chocks and slipped into the wind.

Much respect to reporter Karen Morfitt for outing this slug, and a BZ to Bim for posting the link to her article.

    • Bim says:

Thanks, AW1ed. I’ve had this bozo set up as a news keyword search term since he was first busted, just waiting for FOX31 or the local CBS station to catch up with all the tips that were thrown their way. I volunteer for a dog rescue and foster abused pups. This guy really pissed my off initially. Seeing his attempts at deflection by slandering MP and Jonn was the tipping point for me.

On a separate note, my 18 yo boy came to me last night and told me that he couldn’t handle the culture on campus and college was not for him. He told me that he wants me to go with him to talk to a recruiter and get into the Corps. Apparently, its something he has been thinking about a lot since he graduated. I never saw it coming, he just didn’t seem the type to want to do that, so I never pushed it.

There’s one very proud papa and a completely freaked out mama at the Bim household right now. *sniff*

      • Bim says:

Wow. I typed that way too fast. Mi culpa for the typos and bad punctuation.

        • AW1Ed says:

No worries Bim, everyone makes typos. I’m glad Dave made it official with his very own poser-post.

Marines? Naw, your son really wants to join the Navy and be an Aircrewman. Not that I’m a bit biased…

          Congrats, Proud Papa!

      • HMC Ret says:

Good on you for rearing him right and for him for joining the Corps.

  8. Ex-PH2 says:

I had my suspicions and doubts about this guy. When I had a dog, I worked with a professional trainer with the object to get her into obedience trials and have some fun.

Training service dogs is a specialty that is not to be taken lightly. It is always a good idea to check someone’s claims before paying the fees up front. I’d want real references, and if there is a training association for service dogs, I’d want that info, too.

After six sessions of training, you’d expect to see some results, but this wasn’t what Ms. Mercer got. If that’s her dog in the photo, it’s either a Malamute or a Husky and they are not stupid dogs. The dog’s signal was ‘getting right back into the car’, meaning something was wrong. At least Ms. Mercer was alert enough to recognize that.

I suggest Ms. Mercer contact one of those training organizations and ask them for a reliable trainer who will work with her AND her dog to give her what she needs. She should be there WITH HER DOG, not off site where she doesn’t know what’s going on.

    • OC says:

Ex, you are absolutely right on about getting references.
I train retrievers (unabashed amateur) for competition (field trials and hunting tests). I don’t know of a single retriever trainer who trains using “positive reinforcement” . Some of the other disciplines may.
And the pro retriever trainers will tell you HOW to run your dog AFTER he/she has had the dog to themselves for a time.

      • Ex-PH2 says:

Yeah, I’m not sure what Paisely means by ‘positive reinforcement’, but I never saw any dog at trials that had its tail stuck under its belly. ‘Positive reinforement’ isn’t abuse, which is what Mercer implied when she described Presley’s reaction to seeing Paisley.

If I could train Punkin to fetch things, she could be a service cat. But when I suggest it, she gives me the evil eye and runs off with her tail straight up in the air.

        • OC says:

One of my wife’s pals had a wiener dog that I taught to do water retrieves. She had to wear a life jacket (yup, somebody sells ’em) because when she stopped swimming she would sink.

      • My Uncle trained dogs for the Army and one of the dogs had a run in with a lawn mower so the Army wouldn’t take the dog because he was now “De fured”.

    • SFC D says:

Malamutes and Huskies are scary smart, if they don’t like somebody, they’re quick to let you know. I had a wolf/husky hybrid that was smart to the point of being a conniving little witch sometimes. And they never forget somebody that’s treated them badly. This assclown deserves every bit of the hell he’s starting to catch.

      “beats on animals?”

People who abuse animals also abuse people.
      Especially weak and smaller people.

  10. thebesig says:

Justin Paisley is a phony Marine with counterfeit canine credentials. There, I did my part in helping this phony get attention.

  11. I’ll comment again because on my earlier comment, I forgot to hit the post comment bar and it most likely went into hyper space or a black hole. Ok so hear it goes. He can’t be the real thing because he isn’t wearing a “Paisley” shirt. In the above pic, he’s wearing a white shirt.

  12. HMC Ret says:

““Presley jumped right out of the car and she saw him right away and she jumped right back in the car with her tail tucked and she’s never done that before… ever,” she said.”

Tells me all I need to know about the poser.

      Fuck him.
