Ah, the truly unpleasant side of the radical left is finally rearing its ugly, maggot-ridden head.


Tucker Carlson, one of Fox News’s commentators, was not at home Wednesday night when his home and cars were attacked by Antifas. The AFs posted a video of the incident on Twitter, but it has since been taken down and their account was suspended.

This is not a group of men dressing up like Indians and boarding a moored ship in Boston Harbor to protest the British Tea Act and taxation without representation.

This is far beyond that, done for the sole purpose of terrorizing people whose views are different from those of liberals.

Out of this comes a minor surprise. The rival networks are now saying “This is not right.”  Uh, what? No gloating?

“Something @CNN and @foxnews can agree on: it’s completely unacceptable to threaten a TV host and his/her family,” said a tweet from CNN’s communications team.

Other rival members of the media expressed the same sentiment.

“Fighting Tucker Carlson’s ideas is an American right. Targeting his home and terrorizing his family is an act of monstrous cowardice. Obviously don’t do this, but also, take no pleasure in it happening. Feeding monsters just makes more monsters,” CBS late night host Stephen Colbert wrote on Twitter.

“The ‘group’ that staged this action call themselves anti-fascist. Do they understand how fascist is it to attack a family home like this?,” wrote NPR’s Scott Simon. “Denounce him on Twitter.. Boycott his sponsors. Not this.”

Why are those with views opposing Carlson’s reacting like this? Simple: they got a wake-up call out of it. If Fox’s Carlson and Ted Cruz can be attacked, so can they. Whereas before this, they were smug and self-involved, this has rattled their chains.

I expect to see more such things before this is over, and when/if it happens, I hope it hits those smug, toffee-nosed clankers just as hard as it hits conservative people. Let’s keep a weather eye on it. N.B.: I do NOT wish anyone any harm or ill will, but a sharp dose of reality will do them a lot of good.

        My Sunday School class gave me some money for Christmas last year. I have that Mossberg 88 Security model now – and the 00 Buck to make an impression on anyone wanting to kick in my door.

        Being in Texas, however, I expect the Fascists know this is the probable result if they try their hijinks here. And the law is 100% on my side, as well as there ain’t a civil court around that can find enough folks to award any damages. Countersuing is effective as well.

Do you get up every time and denounce on behalf of conservatives every time a conservative nut-job does something?

          Does every Marine who hasn’t publicly condemned the actions of the Thousand Oaks shooter condone his actions because they haven’t spoken up about them? Or, maybe it should be men – he was a man, after all, so unless men denounce his actions, that implies they condone him? Oh, shit, he lived in California, so maybe any Californians who didn’t publicly object to his actions are actually somehow condoning them! Do you see how stupid this mindset is?

          It’s almost as if having one tenuous connection to a group -be it profession, political party, first name, whatever you like- doesn’t imply guilt by association, let alone commonality of other beliefs.

            Nobody asked you to stand up every time your side does something bad, but could SOME from your side just occasionally denounce bad actions from your side? Absent anyone from your side ever telling your bad actors that what they are doing is bad, support of the bad actions is implied.

            I didn’t find any apologies from the LEFTERDS when Ted Cruz and his wife were verbally abused at a restaurant in WDC by a bunch of screaming idiots. Nor was there any disapproval from even one Demo politician for how Sara Sanders and her family were treated at a restaurant in Virginia.

            There are NO tenuous connections in this. If you think there are, you are intentionally blind to them.

            That speaks volumes about you.

Republicans are to be harassed, demonized, and almost literally run out of town on a rail. that’s according to that darling of the party Maxine Waters. She’s encouraging the actions of those brownshirts and it has led to vandalism and assault. It doesn’t get much closer to condoning the actions of the antifa assholes than that.

          I will respectfully disagree – I highly doubt Eric Holder speaks for all Democrats. None of my close Democrat friends like the Antifa sorts (and, coincidentally, none look to Eric Holder as the standard-bearer of their politics). Same goes for Maxine Waters, for that matter. I’ll also add that the quote following yours above, from Holder, disavows anything illegal or inappropriate, which would suggest nothing violent:

          In Washington, State Rep Matt Shea (R) was outed as the author of the ‘biblical manifesto’ calling for the execution of all men who don’t follow biblical law – that is, if you support abortion or gay marriage, you should be killed. [2] Is this reflective of the Republican party at large? He was, after all, just re-elected.

          Plenty of other examples abound, too. The point being, making sweeping generalizations about nearly half the country because of a few assholes isn’t helpful. There are racist Republicans. That doesn’t mean Republicans are racist. There are Democrats who want to vandalize and terrorize people. It doesn’t mean Democrats support them, either.

            I’ll agree with most of your assertions there. Holder might not be the leader of the party, but he is well respected in Democrat circles and has been floated as a 2020 contender.

            There is only one side of the political argument the last few years that routinely resorts to violence, intimidation, harassment, and terroristic acts. There were no right wing riots after Obama won or after his illegal executive orders.

            Yes, there are neo-Nazis that identify with the right or are called right wing (though I’d vehemently argue Nazism by its very name is a left wing philosophy) and they should not be conflated with the entire Republican Party. However, this violent streak from the left side is at least tacitly endorsed by the Democratic Party. Not all Democrats agree with it for sure.

              The predominant two-party system means that a candidate, with exception, must register as a Democrat or a Republican. Elections are expensive and both state and national party purse holders dole out the bucks to support their people. The consequence is that nutjobs do run as D or R, but that doesn’t make them any less nutjobs.     I am waiting to see if this escalates beyond just Carlson’s house. But now, he has justification for asking for a personal weapon for his wife. If all she did was fire blanks, it’s a lot of scary noise but no one gets hurt.

    This is the tip of the iceberg, in my view. I believe there will be more to come.

      What’s so maddening about this is that Tucker would be happy, thrilled even, to have these nuts on his show to expose their lack of critical thinking and basic common sense. If this was about his political beliefs, they have a venue. This was pure and simple thuggery and terrorism.

What kind of country are we now living in that this kind of bullshit can happen?       It’d be surprising if it wasn’t a total repeat of what the Democrats did in 2000. It appears since then they’ve just been refining their techniques.

      How is that Broward election official still on the job after being found to have violated both state and federal law in DESTORYING ballots last cycle? With what happened last year with the sheriff’s office there, I feel like that county must just be filled to the brim with corruption and incompetence.

Joyce Kaufman says that her Mom who has been deceased for years, keeps getting absentee ballots delivered to Joyces house when ever their are elections. Her Mom was a Dem., And Joyce keeps telling the election’s peeps that Mom is deceased. I wonder when gillum or whatever his name is will be sworn in after they count the stacked ballots.

      If they’re breaking your door down, you can’t know their intentions. Do they want to kill you, steal your stuff, or call you a racist? I don’t think a reasonable person believes you should stop to have them fill out a questionnaire about their plans.

      So yeah, castle doctrine would seem to apply pretty easily.

      In my state, castle doctrine is valid and supported but it has to be more than a simple trespass. In this case, someone trying to break down the door allows defense of the home.

      That means that if someone breaks into my house and I’ve called the pohlease people, I can still defend my home and myself at will, but unless it is something more than simple trespass (as in the vandalism at Carlson’s house which is more than simple trespass), deadly force isn’t justified.

      On the other hand, my view is that if someone breaks the door down to try to get in, I’m justified in at least winging the jerk so that he can’t run away.

    Antifa works for the government, for the system. Antifa seldom talks about any real leftist program, no anti-war or Occupy Wall Street, no attacks on the wealthy or upper-middle class who own/administer the system, they only talk about race, and to a lesser degree feminism and gay issues. They’re the System’s low-level enforcers, racial storm troopers, for keeping whitey on the plantation. An important goal of the System, so antifa has been given de facto legal immunity. There won’t be much counter violence because dissenters will have to fight the police and evade the Federal government. The left isn’t afraid of counter-violence, it’s just bad optics, that’s all. A little too blatantly totalitarian. Especially now with them whining about Jim Acosta.
