Steve Swiertz – Phony USMC Recon/Scout Sniper

| January 15, 2019

The folks at MilitaryPhony send us their work on Steven G. Swiertz who also goes by ‘Stephen.’

As you can see from the photo of him in uniform, he is displaying a ‘scuba bubble’ and jump wings that are indicative of Marine Recon.  That’s only the tip of the iceberg since he also claims military police and scout sniper.

He also claims that he served for 16 years and was retired/disabled…

DoD Manpower only shows a four-year enlistment, however.

Swiertz’s official military records from NPRC only show four years as well.

The records show he was finally discharged in 1990, but he was released from active duty in 1987.

He is a United States Marine that was an Anti-Tank Assaultman (0351) and a Guard (8151), but I guess that was not good enough for him.  He served honorably during a time when most wouldn’t.  It’s just a damn shame when these people try to embellish their military career beyond recognition.  Knock it off Swiertz.

Rocking a lot of shit for an E-3

  2. JTB says:

Whatever it takes to get the ladies…!!!

  3. Comm Center Rat says:

No rank\grade recorded on his DD214. Stephen Swiertz is a super secret squirrel (say it five times really fast).

Steve’s never gonna get the hot ladies without the coveted National Defense Service Medal on his rack. Come on man, step your game up to attract the beauties.

  4. Wilted Willy says:

Come on Man! No Purple Heart? You are not even trying, no bike, no doo rag, no service dog, you even fail as a poser. Go eat shit and die scumbag!

  5. Doc Savage says:

    Bush league.

  6. Keepin' It Real says:

This turd is 53 y/o. That’s some hard mileage.

  7. Combat Historian says:

As DH says, knock it off Swiertz!

  8. AW1Ed says:

Good cookie, SSM, a couple LOAs and a Meritorious Mast. A perfectly fine tour that he had to take a dump on.

Brighten up, Swiertz, and stop pretending to be things you aren’t.

  9. Animal says:

That top photo looks photo shopped to me. If that really is his noggin, it seems like small knickknacks would be orbiting around it.

  10. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

I’m way older than this guy and my skin doesn’t look like a poorly constructed wax mannequin from Malaysia…

He better get checked for cancer, and if he doesn’t have it he better quit smoking, have his heart checked and change his diet because he already looks like he’s dead and being prepped for the casket.

Why do these guys lie when they have honorable service? Just tell folks you served a long time ago, and you are proud to have worn the same uniform as the current crop of young warriors who are really doing some heavy lifting with multiple deployments into harm’s way. If you don’t feel you did anything special during your service then don’t talk about it asshole, do something today that makes a difference. Serve your community, volunteer at the local soldiers home…help raise money for a cause that helps vets if you don’t think you did enough when you served. Stop the lying though, because you dipshits always get caught and then everyone looks at you like what you are, little men and women without honor or integrity.

    • Cameron Kingsley says:

He should probably have his mouth checked too. I can see he’s missing some teeth in the top picture.

      • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Are the teeth missing due to meth, poor hygiene, or does he enjoy biting on concrete dildos?

        • Cameron Kingsley says:

I’m afraid I don’t have an answer for that API. Poor hygiene would be my best guess, but I won’t rule out meth either. As for the last one, I honestly won’t rule that out either.

  11. 5th/77th FA says:

Hey Stephen Gerald Swiertz, embellishing POS, never a Marine Recon Sniper. Google hit for you!
In a race to the top you are the rancid cherry!
In a race to the bottom, you are the shit in the sundae.

  12. 26Limabeans says:

    Guy has MOS Dysphoria.
Don’t laugh, it will be in the next DSM.

  13. 2/17 Air Cav says:

    Stop swiertzing!

  14. sbalm says:

Nice, crisp uniform. Straight gig-line. Thousand-yard stare.

I’m gonna have to go with legit on this one.

Anyone wlse notice he spent a month in the brig before his WestPac deployment? Standard training for all scout snipers.

  15. Martinjmpr says:

Why would anyone brag about being a 16 year E-3?

Also, what VOV said above. Jeebus, I’m going to enlarge that photo of Sweirtz and hang it on my door as a Halloween decoration.

Guaranteed to scare the crap out of everyone in the neighborhood.

Swiertz, man, you look like you just came off the set of The Walking Dead.

  16. HMCS(FMF) ret says:

Steve Swiertz – real deal “scout sniper” at Brucies Bath House (Entrance in the Rear). He was “scouting out” the clientele…

  17. JarHead Pat says:

Why, are they always scout/snipers or Recon???? What a shit bag.

  18. A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Steve Swiertz looks like he needs to lay off from chain smoking in between tricks out behind The Blue Oyster or in highway rest areas. A little honesty goes a long way Steve Swiertz, many know that not everyone was a sooperdooperwonderrangerscoutsniper!
I bet Steve Swiertz runs around dodging the debt collector from Brucie’s Bath House (Entrance in Rear)!

  19. ex-OS2 says:

I see he awarded himself the NDSM.

  20. OldManchu says:

There isn’t a whole lot of brain space up above his eyebrows. I know Marines in general have small craniums but this one is unusually so. Maybe he isn’t functioning with a full brain.

  21. rgr769 says:

In the uni pic he looks a little long in the non-missing tooth to be claiming a medical retirement after his claimed 16 years of service and reaching only E-3

  22. IDC SARC says:

Of course the quim squirting SOB is crying about PTSD and “getting no help from the VFW” on one of his FB pages. Bag Nasty MF.

  23. FatCircles0311 says:

He’s wearing an expert pistol badge but only qualified marksman. So much for being a sniper when you barely qualify on a range hahaha.

  24. John Klem says:

Been reading this stolen valor stuff for quite a while. Three things have come to mind:
1.) Why the hell claim to be a bad MF?

2.) Why the hell claim to be a bad MF?

3.) Why the hell claim to be a bad MF?

I have a good friend that I see weekly at local bar. We get drunk and he lies about his VN experience. I don’t care. At least he was close enough to see the stories even if he didn’t get in the actual shit.

Another friend was in the 173 airborne brigade in RVN. His job was to act as a “pathfinder” for a five man re-supply squad.

See I have been in the shit for real and pretty defenseless given the circumstances AND I really don’t give a shit about the stories my bar friend puts out because he only lies to other veterans and we that know he is telling tall tales just don’t give a shit.

Get the stick out of your ass. Lighten up and relax. The fucking war is over and what is is and I for one would rather get fucked up, laugh and have a good time.
When my friends from 173 rd are together, it is not fun.
