Chatter On, Soul, Chatter On….

It gets rather monotonous to have to keep track of the boisterous nonsense that comes out of a new and very Freshman Congress critter, but we must all, as I have said before, be as aware as we can of her public maunderings.

This one from Ms. OC gives me, like, a headache because it is so, like, so abysmally , like stupid, you know? There’s also, like a video, you know, so you can, you know, like, watch the video and like, take it all in.

She can’t speak extemporaneously on any topic. She has to be prepped with lines she can memorize. Remember someone else stammering when he had nothing to read at the podium and had to ad lib?

In addition, she is doing a fine job of pissing off people who might otherwise support her.  Just superb.

For example, she now has the AFL-CIO so annoyed that they’ve sent her a letter making it clear that they do not support her views at all., with a statement as follows:
“We will not accept proposals that could cause immediate harm to millions of our members and their families.”

There is a massive voting base in the labor unions, those millions of members, but she seems to be blithely unaware of this.  I hope she retains that quality.

Her idea of how to pay for things is to print more money.  Didn’t they do that in Germany – some place like that? I know that was one of Maduro’s scams: print more bolivars to give people money to spend, while all those other government slugs were siphoning funds out of the Venezuelan treasury and moving their stolen money to out-of-country accounts.

Seriously, she is doing a fine job of destroying her vote base while we watch. I have no idea how she plans to put all those grandiose plans of hers into effect, but we really need to make sure that she goes on blithely rattling on with her Big Ideas and gets lots of attention for them. She does not have any plan, for example, for how to feed 310 million people, a great many of whom are used to either getting it from markets that carry whopping volumes of foodstuffs and serve a huge customer load, or raising their own food if they have room, or subscribing to a local truck farm’s program. There are two in my area that I can subscribe to, and a third that will take prepaid orders. I can tell you from my own experience that a minimum of one acre per person is required to raise enough vegetables, including potatoes, for a year, and that’s starting with helping my parents with their 5 acres of garden which kept the 5 of us us all well-fed for a 12-month period.

I’m quite certain now, based on the ignorance she’s shown about construction, among all the other things, that she is also quite clueless about building codes and how much they’ve changed since the 1870s, after they were implemented following the Great Chicago Fire in 1871. I find that my little house is so energy-efficient, my gas and electricity consumption have dropped since I first moved here, probably because I had a new motor installed in the furnace about 5 years ago, and the higher efficiency is reflected in my monthly utility bills. There is no need to replace it, at all. However, a new roof would probably increase its R factor enough to reduce my utility bills even more.

Let’s keep a close eye on her, everyone. I’d love to take bets on what’s next with her, but I’m not sure that the OTB office would give me an over-and-under on it.

There is a good percentage of Millennials and Gen Zs that are with her and agree with her argument. The younger generations are less hostile toward socialism and communism than the older generations. the Democratic Party is noticeably shifting left to accommodate.

AOC: “Why was the bank involved in the caging of children and financing the caging of children to begin with?”

Tim Sloan: “I don’t know how to answer that question, because we weren’t.”

    Ay caramba!

    • Ex-PH2 says:

Where does she get that stuff? Where? Whatever she’s smoking must be really good!

    • Perry Gaskill says:

What Ocasio-Cortez was saying isn’t so much goofy as it is insidious. In context, she was condemning Wells Fargo’s business because it might loan money to companies involved in not allowing an open border. This means, apparently, that only those financial institutions which meet Justice Democrat standards are allowed. Anybody else risks boycott and potential business failure.

Carry it a step further. Since the Green New Deal involves getting rid of cows, Justice Democrats could start demanding tomorrow that grocery stores are allowed to sell meat only at the risk of violent protest.

You could also see the same kind of thing happening earlier this week against Fox News and Tucker Carlson over naughty comments Carlson made years ago on a radio show. In this instance, companies who now advertise during Carlson’s segments on Fox become a progressive target.

In truth, that is exactly what they are doing. You have Mastercard/VISA pulling payment processing from any free speech advocate or moderate liberal to conservative voice.

Chase is debanking people affiliated with any free speech or conservative group and now the story is that some companies have been “unbanked” by them.

The next move is to end banking services to firearm owners, farmers, and those eeeeeeeeeevil oil field workers.

This is not very different than what went on in Russia from 1917 to 1930 and Germany from 1933 to 1938, except that they don’t have the power to create and enforce a gulag system yet.

But it started with who could have property rights and banking services. Once you force people out of the banking system, you force them out of the economy. Small step from there to complete ruin, isn’t it?

        Someone warned us about this….

“Chase is debanking people affiliated with any free speech or conservative group….”

Chase tried to “debank” small accounts such as those held by retirees, back in the 1990s, after swallowing up several banks such as National Bank of Detroit and Bank One Chicago, and then they tried the robot tellers (talking screens), all of which did not work too well. With the demise of small neighborhood banks, the only recourse that a lot of people had was the Big Banks like Chase. This caused an enormous Disturbance in The Farce, and the Big Banks were told by (I think) the Fed and other regulatory bodies, that they had to accept small accounts or pay fines.

There is always the possibility that the Big Banks will break up and the smaller neighborhood bank will return, which I would not mind, but Chase is treading on thin ice by playing a political game like this. Big mistake. Big, huge mistake.

She didn’t say to get rid of all cows, just the “farting cows”.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

I know what you’re saying, Perry, and it is for that precise reason – JDs trying to take over everything – that we need to have this right in front of us.

It is tiresome, it is annoying, it is couched in hysterical terms that are intended to frighten the unwary and the uninformed, and we HAVE to know about it. Otherwise, we can’t fight back.

I thought that questioning of the CEO Wells Fargo was epic and not in a good way for her. Trying to make a business responsible for all effects of their product downstream for eternity is moronic and would cause the immediate bankruptcy of our entire economy. Someone should hunt down her Economic Faculty Adviser at B.U and punch him in the face for passing this twit.

“you financed the oil pipeline so your bank should have to pay for sea walls to hold back water due to global warming” Of all the outright idiotic and ignorant stuff she has come up with so far this rises well above any of it.

Everyone should watch that hearing and listen to the future of the Democratic Party. So Fresh, So Face

I’m sure that many are fine with simply letting the Bucktoothed Bug-eyed Bimbo from Westchester run her mouth, a smart person does not interrupt an adversary while they’re cutting their own throat!

    • Ex-PH2 says:

That’s funny. I just ordered a new pair of jeans from a well-known outdoor clothing company, and their manufacturing base moves around like clouds ahead of a storm.

      • David says:

Hope it is not Levi Strauss, they are big anti-gunners. See Operation Choke point, where the gov tried killing financing to gun related companies. I know my employer changed banks when Wells Fargo decided gun related business is bad business.

  4. 5th/77th FA says:

Good Post Ex, and you are very correct. While we surely need to keep an eye on her and those like her, we can hope that they continue to self destruct. What is so sad is not so much her stupidity, but the ignorance of those who voted for her. And not so much her, per se, but others in that generation who think like that. If one does not pay attention to the gloom and doom of the lame stream media, life is very good right now. Jobs are going begging for help, wages are up, disposable income is up, and the market is doing quite well.

As weak as the old school (AFL-CIO, UAW, UMW, ect.) unions are these days, one still doesn’t want to piss their leadership off. And contrary to popular belief, not all union members will toe the party line. Many a card carrying union member voted for dTrump.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

I give this “phenomenon”, or whatever it is, about 3 years ahead, but I believe it will begin to disintegrate before that. Even so, we are blessed with the very thing they take advantage of: the internet, which exposes them for what they really are.
When you don’t have something like this threatening what you care the most about, there is a tendency to take it for granted.
      We must be watchful.

She is one dumb See You Next Tuesday! I loved it when the Wells Fargo guy handed her ass to her. You can see she’s absolutely a puppet with no original thought in her head about anything. Except maybe dancing…..

However, I seriously do think this is a test of just how far someone nefarious can infiltrate our voting system.

    • Sparks says:

I agree with you. I don’t think she’s a puppet, yet. Because no Democrat is foolish enough to stick their hand up her to talk, for fear of what will come out of her cock holster.

  7. Sparks says:

Does she not understand that lipstick comes in more than one color. Sorry but “barn red” is just not to my liking. Especially put on with a 6-inch wall brush.

  8. rgr769 says:

Yes PH2, they did try printing more money to deal with economic problems numerous times in recent history. For examples, see the Weimar Republic, Zimbabwe, and, most recently, Venezuela. Anyone who took Econ 101 learned that more money chasing fewer and fewer goods and services sends inflation sky high. I am suspecting Ojos-Locos slept her way to that diploma in economics from BU .

    • Ex-PH2 says:

      You and me both, rgr769.

I’d like to see someone who knows and works in finance and economics pin her down to see if she can give concrete answers. I do not think she can do so.

  9. 5JC says:

In my opinion, well like um, whatever you guys are like um racist. Don’t you even like um know?

Man that is one ugly bitch…
And if beauty is only skin deep, I’m expecting to hear Sigourney Weaver screaming as whatever is in it claws to get out or morphs into something from the South Pole Research Station with Kurt Russel or the Norwegians and Danes !!!!!
    All great movies BTW !!!
Including BOTH versions of “The Thing” !!!!!
